I've been riding the motorcycle (1100C3 / SC39) for 25 years now. I love the character of this bike and it is the best therapy after a stressful day. Only the difficult search for whitewall tires has been getting more and more annoying for years!
I've got a 1997 VT1100C2 ACE, I've had it for 6 years now and absolutely love it. It's getting ready to roll to 70,000 miles, and has been the most reliable and maintenance free vehicle (cars and trucks included) I've ever had.
I had a 1999 Honda Shadow 1100T loved that bike but my wife took it to work and ran into a parked car at 10 mph and it was totaled. That was back in 2006. Now a returning rider and looking at Shadow Spirts because of the cast wheels.

I had an 02 Spirit once and it was one of the most agile cruisers i have ever ridden. Power was just right too!
My 94 is a great old bike! I ride her year round in Canada and she doesn’t skip a beat

1985 and 1986 was the VT1100CG. edit: oic thx. the 1985 is VT1100CF and the 1986 is VT1100CG
