I done all you have said but when I try the connect it dose not go to Fire TV Debloater , I am not know how to do my USB debugging ?
I have done the download for the Mix and I do all you are saying but when I click the icons and I push the three bar button, I do not get the menu on the right hand side on my screen saying uninstall but when I click the OK button it comes up, some info and Explore, Package installer a box says Remember and Uninstall, Open as so I click the Uninstall and goes and in grey rectangle box says Uninstall unsuccessful. Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong and tell me how to do it right, than you.
Didn’t work. Any workaround?
I tried this and all it does is Uninstaller the updates and put it back to factory settings. Just like at 6:49, "Replace this app with the factory version".
How do I get rid of all of it w/out going back to factory?
I dont know how you figured this out but every since I did this my device seems much snapper(quicker) even though my device is already blazing fast. Thank you for everything.

Hi. I am new to your channel and just subscribed. I am not new to using a FS but don't know all of the in's and out's. Is it ok that I turned off ADB after I blocked the updates? In other words, will it still block them?

Hi doc , in previous tutorials I have seen you demonstrate this using total commander , why the change ? I use mixplore to move apps from my stick to usb , so I’m familiar with that , but it seems to me that you can use either file manager to uninstall updates , am I correct or is there something I’m missing ? Thanks for sharing this process. I’ve been doing this on my fire devices but using ES file explorer to carry out the uninstalls then following that up with either the OS 6 or OS 7 debloater app. #space
Was able to get a number of app updates uninstalled and apparently blocked. However, when I open up the blocker app and look for the confirmation that I am now unable to update the apps I don't want, I'm presented with and install option and when I click it, the install process begins. Trying to make sense of this. Thanks.

the update blocker quit working on 4k devices today. Several of the servics weren't blocked. The fire OS 6 debloat tool also quit working

Is there a benefit to blocking system updates other than preventing them from reinstalling system apps that you don't want? I've been waiting for them to roll out the update that allows me to control my bluetooth volume with my remote. Or is that even happening for Fire OS 6 devices? I've got a FS4K and FireTv 3rd Gen.
Edit - You kinda touched on my first question at the very end of the video, but my follow-up would be, don't the benefits of the update outweigh the hassle of having to set things back up the way you like it? Don't the updates help improve functionality and security?
Not always, some updates break certain features and introduce bugs that never get fixed. Also bear in mind Amazon will want you to upgrade in the future so could release shady updates that slow your device down or something.

your url doesnt work anymore nor your code. do you have any updates on how to remove unwanted apps, like News, firestick player, amazon shopping, screensaver? Ive tried uninstalling, clearing data, cache but they still come back and take up alot of space, any suggestions?

The update blocker did not work for me on my 4k max, after running it i clicked check for updates and instead of getting the update error it downloaded and installed an update.

I followed the video to remove amazon bloatware and stop updates then at the end when I checked for updates they will auto update when stick is not in use.

What about fire tv box which is running Android version 5, is there a workaround for devices lower than Android 6.

This process only works on FireOS6 and higher devices. The older FireOS5 devices have no way of expanding their storage.

I went through, selected the apps I wanted to uninstall, but when I went to actually uninstall, it kept coming up with "uninstall unsuccessful" for each APK I tried to uninstall. What am I doing wrong?
