This is the story of how my 2024 car show, #AdamCFest, turned into absolute disaster due to a mass collection of occurrences and reports. But how we are turning things around for the better!

Yep, I had to be towed out of Glastonbury one muddy year (in my car that is) had to wait ages in a muddy field for the tractor.

Keep your head up lad, your videos are great. In regard to all the hate, they weren’t real fans anyway clearly.
Mate you can't change the minds of the venue but how you dealt with it and made sure you answered as much questions and comments as you could and be available for reassurance is what counts. The comments you git being negative and nasty are unbelievable and undeserved. You did much more than needed.

Totally agree with Mallory park decision as I got stuck in their field along with a load other people during shed fest. From what I've gathered Mallory park doesn't have the capacity to handle 12k either.
Once upon a time i could believe it, but not today.
There used to be another entrance complete with its own set of traffic lights on the other side that entirely avoided the village just to stop this exact kind of thing, but at some point for some reason it was decommissioned? alongide it looks like a lot of parking and spectator provisions.
@hannekevanderlucht5676 I have no idea first time I've been there, I nearly gave up as we were in queues for 3 hours trying to get in. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if all the cars made it we witnessed so many giving up. We were far end by the time we got in.

You did the right thing, especially in this day and age where SAG go super careful with any public gatherings. Wish you could come to Lincolnshire sometime soon. We're a lot more laid back up here. 👍🙏
I grew up in the car scene and attended many ‘cruises’ now a man turned 40 with 2 kids and now driving a company car that’s a thing of the past.. I will always love and respect modified cars and your channel brings that to me. It’s like attending a meet in your living room. Keep it up Adam. I’m lost without you
There was about 20 cars stuck for hours in the top field alone at shedfest, which the venue had no way of helping it was other ticket holders pulling people out. I'm not surprised they cancelled to be honest.

Adam, you are one of the most authentic car RUclipsrs ever! Though I live in the USA, have watched so many of your videos, I feel like I know the UK car scene. Don’t take one event personally, it happens. I think I can speak for a lot of your fans, we love your content because of your dedication to cars. You put out no bullshit content and just what we enjoy! All I can say is if I am going to the UK in the future, it will be for AdamCFest!

As one of those locals (who apparently complain a lot) 😂😂 I can confirm the venue is a write off in the wet. We do the fireworks but that’s hard standing in the center of the track. Don’t know why you couldn’t use the paddock to park the cars…the track reopened with certain conditions around noise and nuisance. If the council objected they will jump to the beat…
You couldn't have done more to show how much you care. You made the best out of a situation that was out of your hands. Love all your content. Keep it up dude. Your show in July will be worth the wait.
One of the reasons your viewing figures could be going down is because RUclips itself is becoming so hard to watch, the amount of adverts now is insane. Not you personally just the whole platform. 2 adverts on a 6 minute video, if you jump around from video to video you're bombarded with more adverts than content, thats what will ruin youtube
Not necessarily as other channels are thriving right now
You always get a bunch of inconsiderate tossers, that have never organised a single thing, ready to criticise when something doesn’t go their way. But try asking them to help with organising something, and they go amazingly quiet.
Damn, did not expect people to be that upset about it. I was lucky enough to go to AdamC Fest 2023 and it was marvelous,I'm from Romania btw. I loved it and was planning on going this year as well but sadly, I have other plans. Beying a car organiser event myself for 4 car shows I know how weather can affect everything. The best solution for everyone is to switch dates. Imagine having dozen of cars stuck in mud with bumpers flying off, they would complain even more. Don't take the hate to heart, we OG's are still here.

loved that venue. Shame its too small for how its grown tho.
I live about 5 mins from the Overstone venue.My nephew lives about 200 yards away from the gate😂😂😂 3 reasonably decent routes into the area.But it’ll bottle neck when you get close.Good sized site for the show,but expect road delays when you get close

Like the saying goes, You can’t keep a good man down. Sadly we have people in life that will blame others for everything they have no control over, even the weather. Good luck with the show I’m sure it will be a roaring success.
It infuriates me when people have a go at someone for something they cannot control. It was the venue that cancelled, you didn't have any say in the matter. I applaud you and give you the upmost respect for the way you handled the situation and still hosted a small meet to the best of your abilites. Ignore the ingnorant people that were too braindead to understand the situation and keep on looking forward too the future!
You can't win with some people, and people are always going to complain. I honestly think you handled this amazingly, and just wish I didn't live here, in Australia, or else I'd come along. Maybe one year though..Touch wood!

I did 2023 but sadly i think a lot of uk venues just cant or dont want to handle these events. Thankfully i was in the motorsport area and was there early.
Ignore the morons and hate mate personally can't make it to new venue but I'll probably meet you at another event and will definitely attend next year if you do it.
That was handled in the best way possible. People just don’t realise what goes on behind the scenes and it’s a real shame that a post like this one was deemed necessary to have to explain.

I must say though I havent seen an accurate weather forecast for ages. Every time I plan to do something outside it rains!
100% agree. As a golfer is really frustrating. I only trust Met Weather now and I only check 24 hours ahead and then again on the day. But trying to get an accurate forecast more than a day ahead is just too inaccurate to plan anything.

If it was easy then everyone would be doing it, you’ve handled this well. I've had tickets to cancelled shows over the years and never has there been any in depth explanation and follow up for peace of mind like this. Well done, it happens 😁🚗👍🏻
It’s unbelievable how much abuse we see online nowadays. It’s unfortunate the event had to be postponed but I’m sure people would have been more annoyed getting stuck in the very wet and muddy fields at Mallory park.
I went to Shedfest and ended up towing loads of stuck cars out of the fields with my Land Rover Defender. The fields were very wet then so imagine how they would be after even more rainfall!
Even my car struggled in the 1 field it was that muddy and yes it’s on proper tyres designed for mud.
I’m sure Ciro and everyone involved in setting up these events do their very best to keep these shows going but sometimes things happen and events have to be postponed
I must admit I wasn’t sure about the livery on the chaser but seeing it more and more I’ve fallen in love with it
Good choice of new venue. We have some great places in Northamptonshire. Better access. Ignore the haters mate. You and Ciro have got this.
You drove straight past where there was a car show happening on Monday, where the Unimog turned off the A47.
He may have known about that meet, but his priority was meeting/greeting those people who were in the area for his original show.
Ignore the hate man these "fans" think you control the weather or something keep up the good work your videos are bare entertaining
So you looked for a date with least clashes, but you rescheduled for British GP Weekend at a venue close to Silverstone. Makes sense
Correct, no clashes with any major car shows.
Only qualifying for a race, which is not a car show.
It was my only free day personally until October too. The UK's show calendar is massive.
You can’t guarantee the weather. Even the summer months these days!
My band was booked to play a festival in North Wales a couple of years back during June. We traveled over 120 miles to get to the venue, we booked a local air b&b etc and on the day of the festival we were told it was likely to be cancelled/postponed due to bad weather.
It had been planned for it to last the Friday to the Sunday, we were playing on the Sunday. But because it had rained so much over the days before the festival and during by the time Saturday night rolled around they decided to send everyone home early because it was giving Glastonbury a run for its money and people had lost their tents due to mud slides.
At the end of the day you had to think about the welfare of the people you were expecting to be there. If people were getting stuck left right and centre you’d have had it in the neck for any damages caused or injuries.
You did the right thing
Instead of having to go where the cars are, make the cars come to you! Good plan for car spotting!
Well done AdamC I take my hat off to you for trying your up most best to fix something that was out of your control I love that you did a little meet and greet for your fans I agree I feel awful as well for the poor people that couldn't change their plans.

I remember when I was at AdamCfest 2023 I asked Adam what the "C" meant in his RUclips name, he said it was his second name which was top secret!
Yeh rain and wet has been horrendous, I've been trying to save a woodland path near me the last year and a half that off road cyclists have literally destroyed because it's been so wet and I just can't get up there to carry on cause it's still so wet,
Man those bad comments really made me angry.. How can people be like that, seriously? I bet they can't even organise a family dinner, let alone a big car meet. So don't let your head down Adam. You're such a kind soul and we all know you're doing your absolute best for all your viewers and fans and the real ones WILL appreciate that, no matter what.
PS: Those speed bumps are daily business in Belgium 🤣
Blows my mind how people will blame anyone for anything. Instead of seeing the understanding in the decisions. Imagine how they would have been if it wasn’t rescheduled and everyone showed up to a mud pit and stuck cars.
Rain ruins it for everyone because with engine bay views bonnets would shut and also you won't know how long the rain will last so half the place is empty due to people leaving very early but sunny weather and decent conditions people will always stay 😎

To be honest,as annoying and frustrating as it is they made the decision so you don't have to justify it.Credit to you for going there and showing concern.I'm sure the rescheduled show will be great.
Adam thank you for taken the time to explain you didn't need too, but its nice that you did and I'm sure to most the emotion you were holding back was evident. As for the hate comments its disappointing to see but not surprising, Honestly fair play to you not censoring names of some of the more toxic members of the community they do not deserve to be hidden and they are probably salty due to their second lobotomy being botched. Great video man, i feel your pain, being on social. media and a youtube creator myself i have seen a decline in views also which is sad to see. But what i love about your content and yourself is that fact you dont ignore your viewers. you are a big channel yet to take the time to reply not just on RUclips but other platforms. That personal touch and attention hopefully does not go un noticed. Compared to other channels which are more just the face of their channels these days and have others to do all their filming and editing and replying you add a personal touch which i admire. I will never be a big channel but i never want to as i like to be able to engage with my audience.
I hope to make the Moat Farm meet in August but i cant stay as i am travelling hours down south on the Saturday. But it would be awesome to meet you in person if i can make that as followed you for years. Andy

even though i live in northampton, i've never been to a car show. Very tempting to attend cos just up the road from me.
Overstone park is a good plan, the site used to host the Edition 38 show which had thousands of attendants!!!!
Make sure there are plenty of toilets, food and drinks facilities and everyone should be happy!
That site manager was a 🛎🔚 in all honesty, there was a handfull of cars there it wasnt like there was a proper meet
tbf, he had a point and both were on understanding terms. He didn't come across as bad attitude and at least he let them stay for an hr.
He gave them an Hour, he could have just called the Roz on them right there and then, he was alright!

The problem is these car meets have created a war with land owners who have retaliated with parking companies ruining the lives of all of the population. No parking if not attending the store, Tesco 15 minutes after the store closes, Aldi maximum 1.5 hours no return within 4.5 hours. The list of restrictions is getting endless. £100 fines by ANPR cameras. Many have other facilities on site like parcel lockers, charity banks, car charging, even washing and drying facilities. None of these can now be used for 72 hours a week when the stores are closed.
People need to understand that soil will be sodden a week later.
You can’t win Adam, even if Mallory Park allowed it, cars would of got stuck and moaned it should of been canceled 😂

Hey Adam I've been a subscriber of yours for probably 10 years now, I'm in my mid 20s and a huge car / motorbike enthusiast, I think you make some brilliant vids, especially loved your watching your car show walk around and showcasing some unusual cars that never get the love or attention they should do. I think you've got a really fun personality, you're kind and featuring your Partner & your home life and own vehicles is great! I just feel over the past couple years especially that your vids have gotten focused towards a much younger audience (its expected of course!) but that's mostly the reason I haven't watched as much, it just feels a bit cringe, too much overreaction and a little out of touch.. just my own personal view and feedback for yourself. Good on you for trying out different things and what you've accomplished, you should be very proud!

Right choice. Had it gone ahead and cars got stuck, would be your fault. The damage to the field would of been your fault. The fact you cancelled to stop this is.....yeah its your fault even though its not you directly who did it. Yeah it's a pain for some but those moaning would only be moaning the cars down to it's axle had they got stuck. For me it's the right decision, after all the trouble with Shedfest issues with yours may effect Marks, and let's be honest, with upset neighbours. You fronted it up, some would of hidden behind a screen instead, and that's gotta be applauded
@AdamC3046 Now you've got your Viper, I think you should sell me the Chaser. I live in a Village near to Mallory Park and Shedfest bought everything to a complete standstill - if you got out of the village in another direction there was no way back for hours. It was carnage!
