You are correct in your assessment. The dryness is what sets it apart. That, and the fact that it seems void of even the slightest detection of hops. But the flavor and the dryness puts it in a unique position for a 9.9% abv offering that can be had for $2.79 a can in the higher rent areas of New York. That puts it in the same $11 a six pack category as Voodoo Ranger Juice Force, and it serves as a decent change of pace for those of us who don't mind cramming a few high octane fruity IPA's down for our head every once in a while. Cheers!
Glad you like it! Dry AF!
This is my favorite of that series.
I think it is the best of the bunch, or Hazy.
I had picked up a tall can of this at my local quik trip. Yes it had me in the twilight zone after finishing it. Taste wise it was a solid beer. Nothing too crazy, but it did taste good.
And got you wasted... Cheers!
I’m enjoying a ruination double ipa from stone as I watch. Super hoppy and dry but tasty west coaster. Would love to hear you review this one
Just had it the other night. Review coming!
Goose Island's Belgian style ales Sofie and Matilda are so good -- but I've found everything else they make to be extremely disappointing. I'll definitely stay away from this one!
Stick with Sofie and Matilda. And BCBS!
@@DarwinsBeerReviews To my shame, I've yet to try BCBS.
