This is my favorite version of Max. He's soft spoken, yet everything he says is casually psychotic. He seems like a tagalong funny man, but everything he does is outrageously violent. He's cartoonishly mean (especially to people who aren't Sam) and still hilarious, all with the smoothest and softest New York accent. He's perfect! I adore him.

Sadly, with the death of Telltale, who have been focusing on those Walking Dead quicktime/choice games anyway, that's not likely. But Hit the Road is out on Steam now. Unless Hit the Road gets a remastered version down the line, i wouldn't hold my breath for anything new.

I played this game at a very young age, extremely memorable, but it was wayyy past my intellectual capabilities. I can’t believe I got all the way to the totems..... phenomenal man, what took an hour and half took me at least a year it feels like.
Out of all the lucasarts games this one will always be my favourite. I spent many months playing this as a kid. It may not be Lucasarts best point and click game, but it's the one that had the best characters, funniest lines and gives me the most nostalgia.

There's already some HD Sam and Max games. The meticulous animated pixel art is a work of art in of itself. This would look a lot better without upscale blur on an original CRT monitor. I think it's better to rerelease a version with a a blur option and a CRT mask function like Sonic Mania. Yeah, just some options and cut out the load times. That's all I would need to drop money on it.

Great walkthrough. My only complaint about this game is getting to the hot tub area at the end seems like an exercise in randomly clicking and hoping you get it right. Not fun at all.

This was the game that got me to upgrade my PC back in the day. My old 386/25mhz would turn the graphics to a slideshow when using the flashlight in the tunnel of love.

I've never played this game but I saw it on Game Grumps recently and the aesthetics of the background cells and the MIDI renditions of jazz numbers give it a highly nostalgic vibe to me. It definitely reminds me of games like Ren & Stimpy: Stimpy's Invention and Animaniacs on the Genesis, plus stuff on the PC like Spider-Man Cartoon Maker and even SimCity 2000. Just feels like an awesome way to cozy up on a random rainy Sunday afternoon in 1994.
