I’m a widowed mom of two young kids, 7 & 3. With the loss of my husband’s income I try to find ways of cutting costs wherever I can. My husband was the one who did all of the maintenance on our vehicles and I don’t even know when the last time he did each thing was. So far I’ve learned how to change my own oil and that’s it. Today I changed both of the air filters in the truck, and thanks to you I’ve successfully changed the fuel filters on my own. Honestly, I could cry I’m so proud of myself. I hate that I have to do any of this and that he’s not here to take care of us. But thanks to people like you I’m able to learn how to do these things myself and the savings will help keep the lights on. Thank you so much!!!! I’ll be sending you your latte, you deserve it!

Great stuff! Changed my 2019 F350 longbed with 20,200 on the clock. Easy-peasy! Dealer wanted $249.00 to do this, I got oem parts at the counter for $115 and did it in 35 minutes.
Two things, on my truck the filter location was lengthwise under the rear cab by an indent in the fuel tank, and the bolts were 8mm not 9mm. Other than these very minimal things to look for with a 2019 longbed, its all the same. :)
    Thanks!!

I just changed both the fuel filter and fuel/water separator filter at 25k on my 2017 F250. I had no water in the drained fuel or in the separator filter, but I live in Northern California where we have very low humidity and relatively mild winters. However, I cut the fuel filter in half to examine the filter and it was very dirty. Glad I changed it early.

😂. This is just a peasant Model. I paid 50K in early 18. But now the price for this same truck is upwards of 60-62K it’s getting crazy. Great video Colt. I bought both filters using your link and got started draining the bottom filter But after 5 minutes and 2.5 gallons later it still wouldn’t stop draining. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hey Jason, I found that if you loosen a couple bolts to break the seal it'll only drain the filter vs siphoning fuel from the tank. Hope that helps!

@willowjohnston7723 I'm also in Canada bc and I have the Ford service maintenance plan on my 17 super duty 6.7 and I noticed many issues like my air filter looked black and minder showed lots of restrictions.. wasn't replaced, break pads were supposed to be covered in plan, and at 70k I had bad noises squeal and was told close but not yet worn enough allowing it replaced.. had less than 15% left on piston side but they measured outer pads.. transmission, transfer case, diffs, coolant never gets serviced all maintenance intervals were rewritten in manual way passed any plan coverage or mileage.. my common oil pan upper seal been leaking and they never did anything to fix it or even mention it until I had enough and B4 plan expiration 7mo B4 I started to do my own service again and seen the oil leak and etc.. never greased any grease points EVER.. ONE THING THEY NEVER MISSED DOING even when I left Note NOT TO DO IT was always LOWER MY FRONT TIRE PRESSURE TO sticker 65psi .. if I own a 1ton truck and I had every kind I know it is not a Cadillac ride quality and E rated tires wear outside edges on 65 and can cause lower traction even from center surface not fully contacting road RIP-OFF

Love your videos always good information and how to.. Your videos have helped me out a lot. Thanks . Have you thought about getting SPE Motorsport fuel filter kit ?
I'm thinking about getting it for my 2019 powerstroke .. I have Pusher piping kit the one that is newest out. And have hot / cold side charge tubes as well. Have SPE coolant reroute. Got get SPE CCV reroute kit the one i have is like the old one you had on your truck.. Not doing to much to my truck keeping it looking stock NOT doing it for the longevity and get the pos factory parts off that is problematic! And have Banks rear differential cover. And have G2 front differential cover. Have Bank's Pedal Monster... Wanted to share my upgrades I done.

I haven’t thought about it to much, but I’ll prob go ahead and get it so I can have some content to film! About to order the coolant reroute, will look so much better. Sounds like your ride is shaping up nice! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Good video, but PLEASE don't wait 21000 miles to change your filters. You should be changing these fuel filters at 15000 miles. . That filter was way too dirty. This causes CP4 failure.
