The level of maturity Yoyoka has behind the kit is well beyond her years, she is a true professional. 🐰🥁🐰🥁🐰
She is an old soul, for sure
Such a pro. Literally _any_ band would be happy to have her backing them up.
Rock solid ~she's been gigging since she was 4 years old with her family band. There's a video of her age 7 coverig a jazz fusion tune by Senri Kawaguchi. With a live band. At a bar. At 7yo. That was 7 yrs ago. She's a seasoned musician. No flash needed? No problem. Crazy chops and panther like quickness required? She's got that coverrd too! Astonishing talent!
She is so consistent and reliable to keep the beat flawlessly- I’ll bet every one of the musicians Yoyoka plays with highly enjoy jamming with her!
Yoyoka has the time leash on that band and gently pulls them back into the groove. She is a human metronome.
For a moment there, during the solo, I lost track and actually thought that it was Vinnie Appice there behind the drums. Damn, she's good.
Watching Dio perform with Black Sabbath was a show I will never forget. 👏👏👏
How does this video have only 1k likes.
It’s fantastic, you guys slayed it
I can totally see her behind the kit in a packed arena show, and still being cool and mature while bringing the heat.
She's done it. Summer Sonic in front of thousands.
The level of talent at the whiskey is top notch.
That amazing drumming of one of my favorite Black Sabbath tunes, I'm sure, would make Bill Ward proud.
Far and above, YOYOKA is the most talented musician on that stage.
Great job as always yoyoka. Keep living that dream!!
Yoyoka sure is a little devil on those drums!
Fantastic cover? Everybody just wow!! 👏👏
今の日本の10代がサバスを演奏するなんて。。。ありがとう!大好きだ
Thank you Yoyoka for carrying the torch to the next generation! ROCK LIVES because of YOU!
Simply sublime, Yoyoka at its best with the heavy sound of Bill Ward. As always, the musicians around her respect her enormously. And all this at only 14 years old. Congratulations to the whole group for this great cover.
EVERYONE SOUNDED GREAT GUITAR 🎸 WAS AWESOME YOYOKA YOU WERE TERRIFIC AND THE GUY SINGING SOUNDED JUST LIKE RONNY JAMES DIO
VERY KOOL STUFF YOYO
DEFINITELY WORTH A THUMBS UP 👍🏻 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Incredible musicians and great sound, Yoyoka is always a killer, I love that big guitar sound also and the bass and well all are talented musicians
Fantastic! You really have the rhythm of that song. The heavy snare on that song is SO important. You nailed it.
AWESOME!!!!
聴き手がこの曲を知っていても知らずともこのドラムの安定感が共通の感動をもたらしてくれること違いなし。 バンドメンバーも安心して乗れているようだ。
Extremely well executed! Yoyoka, as usual, nailed it. I like to think Ronnie was smiling down.
👏 Bravo, this made my day complete. Excellent vocals.
DAAAAAAMN That was badass
So easy for a band to speed up that slow plodding beat as the song goes on but Yoyoka's authority kept everybody right on the money. Total pro.
Glad you pointed this out. I don't know the song - but that tempo interaction in the first bit between Yoyoka, the bassist, and the lead singer was a bit odd... I wasn't sure who was attempting to push / drag... but again - no sound check / no rehearsal. And Yoyoka just set it. and by the middle section, they were all together.
The fact that she can just sit in and play at a professional level is amazing... Go Yoyoka!
Yoyokaは初め、ヴォーカルに合わせ、スピードを落とし、後半、ギターソロに合わせて、スピードを上げてクライマックスに突入。バンド全体の脈拍を管理する彼女にとっては容易なことです。
Excellent point and especially that Yoyoka is not the most nervous girl in the world.
Well done Yoyoka. You are doing what you came to do and the world loves you. Keep showing them what you got and who you are. 🙏🏻
Excellent cover of this great tune👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Yay! Yoyoka playing Black Sabbath, amazing as always! 😊
Great performance!
Nice. Great job to all. Keeping that beat going. Good job young lady
Yoyoka.. Just awesome as always
You rock,Yoyoka 🥁🤘❤️🔥
Really nice
Pure Yoyoka quality 😁
Bravo!
Another rock solid performance from YOYOKA! The yellow snare cracks out with authority. I am really looking forward to what see does at Whisky Nov 7 for Women That Rock UJN show!
Yoyoka would do well in a “Drummers that Rock” lineup.
@@kanenomoja YOYOKA would do well in pretty much ANY lineup you could configure! She has solid real proof since age 7.
@@Rob-Yule Agreed. That was kind of my point. (I wouldn’t limit her to a women’s lineup. Seems unnecessary to me.).
I’ve been following her career for quite a while, too. Very, very impressed - always!
Hallowed ground. The Whiskey is. Well played!
That was great . The ending - Woo Hoo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ハロウィン仕様のYOYOKAちゃんww
さすがの演奏!会場の雰囲気も最高ですねー★
When you compare the original with this cover you can see that although the gents did a great job, it's 80% of what the professionals were achieving. No match for Ronnie James Dio's power and range, his voice was up there with the best.
However, the same cannot be said of Yoyoka. Her drumming power sounds so much like the original. Without intending to sound mysogynistic but that a 14 year old girl can transcend heavy metal hard rockers is truly awe inspiring and amazing. Before, when she was doing covers in the sanctuary of her home, I read comments about how other kids were as good or better etc. I don't see any of them getting up there in front of 100's of pairs of eyes on stage and doing it for real. Another few years, this could be the start of an amazing journey for this inspiring young lady. Glad I'm watching these clips. Wouldn't want to miss out, on this journey! ✨️
Excellent comment and I had the same idea as you and yet I don't see any child drummer who comes close to matching her. Anyway, she's been a professional for several years now.
@@namorlam the only other one worth checking out is Nandi Bushell. Originally from South Africa iirc, now living in Britain. She has it all, very talented, played on stage with Foo Fighters...
You are absolutely right, I don't see any other drummer of her age going on stage and playing live with pro musicians. Apart from making covers in the comfort of their home.
I'm obviously here for YOYOKA but damn if that dude doesn't do Ronnie justice on this one!
🤘🏼💙🤘🏼
I don't think he does...
She is Great
Halloween? Oh! Yoyoka puts on horns! LOL. Love it.
should be more popular!
on point
💚🤘😈🤘 YOYOKA
YOYOKAさん、凄い 😲
Yaaaaayyy Yoyoka! She's got the best costume by far. But they're not giving her any face time. The LA Way. Lol! She's great and still the best! More Yoyoka! I love Yoyoka more!
YOU ALL SOUND FAB GUYS, THE PROF ROCKIN DA GOGO CLUB AGAIN SHES SO DARN GOOD, IN FACT SPOOKTACKULAR.
thank you all.
Another excellent piece played well. The singer has studied Ronnie’s every move bravo 👏🏻
Please let us know when you play San Diego 😎
BRAVOOO!!
A lot of really cool experiences for Ms Yoyoka 👍👍
As is no surprise you have reached pro level
👍❣️ Thanks 🤗
OMG! My favorite song!
I really like the horns. It's a good look for you.🤘😈🤘
Love this song. Great job!
Can't really express enough how much I love Yoyoka getting this experience she so much deserves!❤
You can play Black Sabbath, Yoyo, and you can wear horns, but you haven't fooled me for a second. We all know you're an angel.
(But monster on drums, of course.)
Aren't those horns holding up her halo?!?!?
What a voice !
🤘🏼🤘🏼💙💙
よよかは日本の宝👍
I have been following Yoyoka for 3 years. What a phenom.
Was that "Batgirl" on the Drums? Well done all.
Great job by all!
Even in a early years Yoyoka could back a pack of rock bands. Drive maybe to fast but You are steady.
Nice to hear this from LA!
good cover.
❤🎉👍❤️
Great job Yoyoka! Try some more Black Sabbath. :-)
She is getting to be quite the little wiskaholic.
School OF Rock - The Beat Goes On
Yoyoka - Yoyoka
Mr. Finn - Jack Black
The Battle Of The Bands is one week away and Mr. Finn has his class ready to compete, until he finds out his Tuba player is allergic to brass. He then learns a new student from Japan will be joining the class. The new student, not understanding much English, but knowing a few English phrases, arrives and he tries to prepare her for the contest.
Mr. Finn: Here is your tuba. You have one week to learn the songs.
Yoyoka: I play drums
Mr. Finn: We don’t need a drummer, Wilbur is our drummer. We need a tuba player, so you will play the tuba.
Yoyoka: (nods her head yes) OK, I play drums now.
Mr Finn: For the last time, we already have a drummer, you are playing the tuba.
Yoyoka walks over to the drum kit and starts playing.
Mr. Finn: (Rollercoaster eyebrows, pivots to Wilbur) Wilbur, here is your tuba. You have one week to learn the songs.
Subarashi Yoyoka-chan!
Awesome, and the horns were perfect for this song too! Solid and steady beat for this one and much easier for you than "What is hip" which you make look easy somehow 🤔
This tempo beat is actually very hard to play without speeding up/slowing down a little for most drummers. Yoyoka was steady as a rock though!
Absolutely true!@@johnarrington6292
ℋappyℋalloween🎃👻🌕
I have not even watched it yet, but great job!
😈!
つの?つけてんのかわいいね!
When you are 14 at the Whiskey and the best musician on the stage - haha - she insists on the time, has the feel - the other guys needed more practice with her
Dio would be proud!!
She could have played this both hands tied behind her back.
髪の毛と身長以外は抜群なディオのコピーじゃないか。
He who.
Well, Yoyoka is good, can't say the same for the rest of the band. But, then, she's probably been playing professionally much longer than they have. I only listened a couple of minutes, they might have gotten better as the night progressed.
shouldn't she be in school? lol.
She is the school of rock and she's a straight " A" student. 😂
