I’d say the ONLY thing the HBO version did better than the game is making Joel’s reason for seeking out Tommy to make sure he’s safe, it fits Joel’s character more than his reason in the game, which was just because Tess told him to…looking at their reunion here there’s clearly love there so idk why game Joel seemed to not have interest in seeking Tommy out
