I agree. He is the only one who has reviewed from practical point of view. Most of them has reviewed from a biased point of view, driving around autobahn or english country side or Track.. but he is the only one who gave us an experience how it feels driving around busy city. This is a perfect car for weekend driving, not for daily driving.

I take it as a "no" 😉 it's some internal software for the car, can update everything from idrive to transmission behavior it seems.. . I'm actually trying to read up on it to understand it.

I keep looking at new M2 competition but something about the outer design of the original M2 keeps pulling me to this ...and I'm not sure what it is 😀
I guess that if you're more of an old school BMW fan like I am, you like the fact that the LCI still has the 'classic' kidney grille. At least that's what does it for me :)
For starters, the M2 LCI doesn't sound fake, artificial, doesn't have a sound of an engine fed through the speakers or sound like throwing a tin on the floor. like the M2 comp.

is it posible to fit a mountain bike in the trunk, if you put down the back seats?
I don't think you can. The opening of the boot is too small.

Hi :-) whats your choice of wintertyres? Wich rims, and if original 19" how do they cope with salt, snow and wear. Regards Bjørnar. 2018 M2 Black
Am using the original 19" and I used Continentals (Wintercontact I think they are called). I've had no problems last winter, they performed very well.
So using one set of rims. Changing tyres off and on. Sizes 245/35-19 and 265/35-19 as in the summer. Been looking into the 640 m 18" package, but not so fond of the tyre sizes, going down to 235/40-18 and 255/35-18. Not filling the arches, hmmmmmmm. Not so keen on going outside original.....
I'm using the originals because I will replace them next year. I'm looking at some Vossen wheels :)
Get the 641M if it's not too late. Same design, but 19 inches. Cheers!
Hello Paul from the USA NJ , I want to buy one as a daily driver. My question is the car too noisy to drive on the highway every day? I don't mind the exhaust sound, but I am talking about road noise.
Hi David. It all depends on what you consider noisy :) For me and my family, it's just fine. But there's a lot more road noise coming in, compared to a 3 Series for example. The tires are quite wide and the Michelin Pilot Sport tires are noisier than others (but they also help the car stick to the road better) :)
I hope this helps but make sure you get to drive one and see for yourself before you buy
