Do not forget thaat Eco Pro lets you coast. If you drive down hill and let off the gas it will start coasting. It will no longer engine break. If you press the gas it will then engage in a gear and start driving normaly and use the engine break. If nothing happens it goes back to coasting. So it will save extra gas on highways and going down hill. Its not just the throtle response.
Eco pro is great on the highway when you get up to speed and can set the cruise control. If you’re in stop and go traffic, you’re better off in comfort mode.
Agree with this, I have an X3 G01 and on motorways I just sit in Eco Pro but in busy traffic and pulling out of junctions he Comfort mode gives you much snappier gearchanges. Never use sport as in this mode it seems persistently to stay in low gears
Watch for eco Pro + cruise control on wet roads though. Ive slid sideways travelling to work in this mode.. I am no expert but if it turns off 4x drive then that might be why the car slip across the motorway sideways..luckily i corrected the steer away from the central barriers and saved my life ajd my car 😅
Disagree. Eco pro is best in stop start traffic as it disables engine breaking allowing you to roll up to cars and use short throttle inputs. I prefer sport Manuel on motorway. I want ability to have power straight away when needed and quick throttle response. Fuel wise doesn't matter much as most of time in 8th gear cruising anyway
I got a 320i. I use eco pro regularly cause I'm like might as well save some gas when I'm not trying to have fun just commuting. The other thing it does with the 8 speed is it will disengage the clutches and coast when your foot is off the gas.
I use this mode 99% of the time. Do you know that you can code that this mode is set as a standard? Just use an OBD adapter and Bimmer Code. It really annoyed me to change it every time I got in the car.
Sport has DSC on. Sport+ turns off DSC and activates DTC under 31mph only, so above that the only interference on the rear wheels is the e-diff, so it’s good for arsing around a little at roundabouts. Not quite as described in the video, the chap may have misspoken. DSC Off mode turns off both DSC and DTC at any speed, but it also puts the throttle in Comfort mode so it isn’t as sharp but there’s no reduction in overall power, so you have a more progressive throttle, which gives you more travel to modulate the power. It feels a little disappointing when you activate it whilst moving with constant throttle application as you need more throttle press in Comfort to get the same effect as Sport+. There’s also a Traction mode, which is a short press on the DSC button. I haven’t explored that yet, guessing it’s DSC off but DTC on at any speed. I have no knowledge of Eco Pro. This is based on fiddling around in an M235i, presume it matches other models.
" but it also puts the throttle in Comfort mode" aha so its true. I was thinking the same. Sport felt kinda more agressive. Also on B38 in sport/sport + u have turbo flutter/ westgate sound and in DSC off there is not, like eco or comfort

hi, i’ve just bought a new bmw and there’s a weird lever behind the left side of the steering wheel, has arrows for going left and right, looked like a malfunction so i snapped it off
All jokes aside, the BMW turn signal design is completely idiotic. Want to stop signalling? TOO BAD! You pressed it slightly too hard and now you're signalling the other way.
Doesn’t sport + merely reduce the interaction of the stability system but dsc off turns it off altogether? Equally eco pro will reduce the output of the climate control and heated seats if you have them to reduce the electrical load and a/c demand to improve fuel economy. There’s also slight changes to other things such as shift speed too depending on driving mode.
Eco mode also allows you to coast much further without the engine downshifting and causing compression braking. Something to do with uncoupling the axles. That’s my favorite feature about it and the main reason I use it during certain situations
U forgot to mention that in sport+ it wont auto upshift if you r in manuel mode, it Will just redline the car, but in sport it Will upshift on you, and Also in sport+ the steering gets heavy and cant be changed on the idrive compared to sport u Can choose to have light steering on the idrive settings

I like the COAST function on ECO PRO. When going down hills let off the gas and the driveshaft disconnects and RPMs drop, you can coast and really increase MPGs!! COMFORT mode doesnt let you do that!!
You can coast in comfort, from the paddles, upshift to the highest gear possible and upshift again, car will coast. It’s written in the user manual too
DON'T use ECO mode in the rain on the highway even if you are up to speed and coasting. It lugs the engine extra hard to the point where, the engine overheats and gives you an overheat warning.
Looking through the manual, it seems like Sport mode will throttle back if it detects the driving wheels spinning. In Sports+, it will allow a certain amount of wheel spin. If you turn the DSC off using the button (when using Sports+ mode), the car won't help you and you're on your own. I think the Sports modes also open up the flap in one of the dual exhausts (not sure about this though). I have found that my 330i will get between 40 and 50 mpg on the mway in Eco mode. You don't want to be in any hurry with that mode as it's really sluggish. I really want that vest/body-warmer. :)
My 2014 435i rwd manual gets 34 mpg going 95 mph in eco. Whether im correct or not, it feels like the turbo is heavily disengaged, until you really easy into the throttle. Maybe it’s because i have the direct throttle mapping, but for a 520 hp bolt on/ build this car can be whatever you want it to with a safe a build, or up to 800 with new internals
A reasonable explanation. Just a little extra added input. This information applies to cars with driving mode selector switch and automatic transmission: Sport plus = aggressive throttle profile / sportier gearbox profile / assisted driving aids disabled / sportier (heavier weighted) steering / stop-start system disabled Sport mode = same as above but with driving aids enabled Comfort mode = standard throttle profile / standard gearbox profile / driving aids enabled / standard (lighter) steering profile / stop-start system enabled Eco-pro mode = standard throttle profile / eco gearbox profile / driving aids enabled / standard steering profile / stop-start system enabled / climate control runs on reduced power Difference between eco gearbox profile and standard gearbox profile = standard, car always remains in gear when decelerating. eco profile = gearbox will drop into neutral and coast when decelerating, up until the driver puts his foot on the accelerator or brake when it will engage gear to either assist acceleration or braking. eco-pro will also use GPS data from the navigation system to provide driver assistance re advice on whether to use the accelerator or brake - AND, will re-engage gear to reduce the cars speed prior to entering built up areas. Eco-pro + ZF8 = greater mpg than the manual gearbox version. My 435d can achieve high 40's mpg to low 50's mpg on my work commute where using comfort mode, 5-10 mpg decrease is to be expected. Sport mode renders another 5-10 mpg loss. I average no less than 30 mpg in sport, 40 mpg in comfort and 45-50 mpg in eco. Eco-pro does not physically deactive when the road speed exceeds 75 mph, but any benefits offered by the system are negated beyond that speed, hence the reason the instrument gradation is greyed out, prompting you to reduce your speed to 75 mph or less. My only wish is, that BMW would have married the ZF8 to the M57 engine as I trust the M57 way more than the N57.
Hi Dean, apologies, a silly question. I have adaptive suspension on mine & had previously thought putting her in sport mode stiffened up the suspension. Did you really mean that putting adaptive suspension vehicle into sport mode 'will' soften the dampers/suspension?
Sport + stiffens the steering and makes the suspension harder. If I’m correct comfort & sport leave it exactly the same, as in sport + it turns off the DSC also which is why it’s meant to stiffen the suspension for cornering for ultimate control.
I have a e92 320d N47 Doesn't come with non of that lol. Fuel is great. Puts a smile on my faces. Anyways I borrowed my uncles automatic F10 520d B47 for the weekend to go for a long family trip. This was the first time I was using the buttons. Eco pro: felt good when I was driving in slow traffic, small roads, or doing turning, saw the blue fuel return say 10miles gained/saved. Comfort mode: was good when doing over 30mph to 70mph on a steady speed. Nice and relax driving, changing lanes feels more smooth. Sport mode: felt like "don't YOU dare drive me under 40mph and not put your foot down" or rather "this fools is bumper riding you" floooooor it NOWWWWWWWW. (A remapped gear box and engine) made me smile :) motorway acceleration was just a amazing feel....felt like car was telling me :Power!!!!!!!!!! GIVE ME MORE POWER! Lol My uncle also has a M140i that thing is a mental car... my gosh after all that tuning that thing is a death mobile.
Thanks for sharing this information, I have a question. If I am on the way and the car is on drive mode eco and I wanna change to sport? Is it worth for engin or transmission. Bmw 2013 328ix Thanks.
I have a 520d and eco pro mode is so marginally better than comfort that it's not really worth using unless you're going to use it all the time over the space of a year. Over a tank I'll probably get an extra 30 miles or so out of a tank. It's up to you whether it's worth the hit to performance.
My 118i pre-LCI with the 6-speed manual has Sport+. The only things it changes are the throttle and slight steering feel. Don't think it has launch control though...
I don't have an "eco pro" on my 2011 525D but I do have the efficient dynamics blue bar that becomes filled up when coasting. What is this actually doing? It's got a picture of a battery but my car is not a hybrid. Does it have anything to do with alternator load maybe?
@@craig855s In my understanding it turns off the alternator when driving at constant speeds and battery is above a certain voltage. It then turns on again when you hit the brakes to charge the battery and it also helps slow down the car more (reducing brake wear theoretically)
Great vid 👍🏼 At a certain point in time over the past 5 years BMW altered the default driving mode to comfort; my 2014 F31 starts in Eco Pro when you turn it on; all courtesy cars I’ve had from BMW since 2018 start in comfort mode when you turn on. Another thing when you switch to sport mode is it disables the wretched stop / start which I turn off as soon as I get in the car; I feel stop / start could shorten the life of certain components & the battery & especially in a diesel which is more strain to start than a petrol! I only enable stop / start in certain traffic conditions at my own discretion. I tried using launch control in Sport+ as mine has 8 speed auto & adaptive m chassis, but mine is a non M-sport model up-spec’d & I can never seem to get launch control to work; maybe I’m doing something wrong?
@@elteacherelizondo3401 I'm in the same situation. I'm trying to have the Eco Mode + start/stop turned off by default when I start the car. I tried myself but I didn't manage. Only specialists could code it or is it easy if I try myself? Thanks, bro!
Weird that you disable stop/start because it 'could shorten the life of certain components & the battery' but want to use launch control - which will definitely do that. 🤨
Theres a simpler way to disable that start stop! Take a leaf our of my box, the ECU has a Battery_Voltage_Sence_SS, all you have to do is find, it, splice the line apart and put a 1 meg ohm resistor in the circut, the sence wire now only detects < 9 volts on the battery, and start stop is disabled on start. Did it on my audi, after they fitted it as standard over my objections, and then told me it was impossible to disable. Impossibly my ass, resistor and done, easy to undo later aswell
I don't have to worry about the eco pro anymore. As these buttons weren't placed in the best place possible I poured coffee all over it and it burned the pcb board so the down button doesn't work anymore. 130£ and the dealer told me that they sold 270 pcbs in the last 4 months!!! So have to wait for it for around 3 weeks. On the other side for 3 years of ownership I used the eco pro for about 30 min - it just kills the car performance for 2-3 extra mpg not worth it
its supposed to kill the performance if you listened to how it limits throttle and changes into n when coasting it dose its job w my v8 only gets 25mpg in sport on the e way eco is practical and useful reconsider your take
You can activate Launch Cintrol in Comfort mode with Dynamic Traction Control activated, you dont need Sport+ Just press one time DTC in Comfort and select S on gearbox
Im thinking of buying 430i manual and it has sport +, so what does it then if u say its only for automatic? Cuz manual doesnt have lunch control. Thanks for any info!
Sport + only partially turns off the DSC not all the way off to give you some slip but still kicks in if you take it too far. If you want it all the way off, you need to do that using the traction button 🤷♂️
I have a 330e, I have tried running eco pro and comfort, the only thing I can see that eco pro does is make the car slower and in my experience, uses more fuel.
Hi Doctor I have a F10 520i, one thing I find out about the difference between eco and comfort mode is that when I going downhill and off throttle without braking, in comfort mode transmission will stay in a certain gear without upshifting until I press throttle again, in eco mode transmission will upshift automatically and go to 8th gear eventually
I hate eco mode lol I prefer comfort or sport + even sport mode doesn't do nothing but sport + really changes the game, and will push your driving skills to the limit especially in a rear wheel drive car and in the rain :)
Very informative video. I have the f10 535d m-sport it has the 8 speed gearbox but no sport plus. Can you use launch control without the sport plus? Cheers
One question really(maybe useless) You said that the eco pro mode is basically useless. But is it usefull on downslope road or into city center? Because you don't need extra power from your engine in those cases...
The only thing I couldn’t find is: does the amount of power change? I sometimes feel like Sport unleashes full power while Comfort takes like 20HP away… at least on my E84 25d
I beg to differ regarding Eco Mode because seen over 50mpg in Eco Mode on my M140i. Also regarding Sports and Sports+, In Sports mode all the safety features are switched on but with Sports+, you get dynamic traction control activated which gives you more slip from in the rear, more exhaust pops and burbles and even more throttle response, well it certainly does in my M140i 😁😉
Eco pro let's the car coast (takes the car out of gear) so it uses literally no petrol to go down a hill. It will not do this if you have cruise control on, but it's a good thing to do when you know a big downhill is coming up
Watched so many of your how to's and wondering if you can tell me why my dash isn't changing to either eco mode or sport mode on my 640d.. Thought it was meant to go blue on eco and red in sport.. Cheers
If you go to your Display settings, you’ll see an option to choose whether you want to the display to change the color according to the driving mode. Probably it’s turned off in yours.
Cool, thanks! I’ve been wondering what the diff modes really do. I do wish you showed us the launch control sequence just to cap off launch control mode!
I just got a 2014 328d and I love it so far. I used to drive a 2008 328i and it had a sport mode activated with the shifter. Newer BMWs seem to have a 2 sport modes, one activated with the shfter, and one activated with the switch button. What is the difference between the two modes and what if you enable both?
Can anyone help, in comfort mode, when I click the paddle shifts turning into manual, how do I change it back to auto without moving the gear stick into sport and then back into auto, I have a 335d 2015
Really good video, great explanantion. It would be lovely if you could add how the engine sound differes on different modes and also showing an example of launch cintrol
Hey Doctor, I'd like to buy a F36 30D, but Im confused by the Efficient Dynamics line on the tachometer. What does that mean? Is it only there because of the Eco Plus mode? I'd appreciate it if you could explain.
Basically the efficient dynamics assist you in saving Fuel when driving in eco pro mode. It will give hints on dashboard when you accelerate to much or drive above max speed limits on certain roads. Also it remembers your driving habit to assist you further in saving fuel. Dont worry tho, you can just drive comfort mode or sport mode, it WILL consume more fuel as it will do more rpm when its shifting gears. The fuel you save is minimal in eco pro, maybe 5 liters (+-100km).
Hi Dean, i have a 2011 F10 535d but don't have the mode buttons in the thumb nail or paddles on the steering wheel. Any chance you know why this is? I can't seem to find a concert answer anywhere.
Please awnser me if I dont have the switcher near the gear is that mean the car dont have the mods ( eco and sport) the car is bmw 528i. 2011 pleeeeease
The speed limit for Eco pro depends on what road you are on. I think it uses the sat nav for changing the speed limits. I often use eco pro if I am just chilling, slow moving around on a summer's day with my Cypress Hill CD on... 🤣
Hi BMW doctor. I need a piece of advice. I have a 118i twin turbo with 3 cylinders. It's meant to be eco car if you are an eco driver but i do not see great fuel economy. Please advise how to monitor consumption and whether the car's consumption is right. Thanks
Examine your driving style before thinking it must be the car. Because the performance of small engine cars is so poor people will tend to drive them harder and that will move your consumption further from the official figures. I use Dash Command on my M235i because in their wisdom BMW don’t provide a temperature gauge and that has plenty of options to examine fuel consumption.
Eco mode isn’t something I like😊 One thing I don’t understand. Why all cars in reviews have to be with bloody automatic gearbox. 20 years ago only guys who considered driving for the worst enemy drove automatic. Automatic is even worse then diesel. That two things and above all electric cars ( can be good but it’s a device not a car) will never be allowed in my house. Thanks for great videos. And yes check engine on your 335i is on. Luckily we BMW drivers are used on it🤣🤣🤣
I reckon Eco Pro is probably alright for driving on an empty motorway... Don't know if it will give you much of an improvement though, not tried it yet!
Mine is 2012 active hybrid 3 it’s not going to sports mode keep being back to comfort Can you do remote coding as head unit is kinda dead not responding on scan , navigation keep coming back to no signal . It’s a Japan import
One question I have is when I use the paddle shifters and for some reason want to go back to D is there a way to make it do that? I have had the car for 8 years and don't know.
Weird ,mi d is a 320d f31tourer sport model, manual 6 speed and it has sport plus 🤔🤔 now stage 1 mapped ! Sport plus gives launch control in a manual mmm do tell the difference from an auto to manual with sport plus !
When I bought my 15 plate 235i, the dealer told me if u press the switch twice to go into sport+, then traction control is 50% off. But if you hold the dsc button it turns it completely off 100%, anyone know if this is true? BTW I owned the 235i for 8 years and it’s so much fun but always scares me to this day sometimes aha
Hi Dean, so like u said I can code the sport+ mode on my bmw f20 118i? The car didn't came with it but I can code it in right? When I code it in will there be any system errors in my car?
Hey Deano, I don’t suppose you fancy making some content on my F11? I’ve got a 2.5amp drain (story behind it). Also have acceleration concerns if you could help out. Thank you 👍
I often pop it into eco mode if the roads are a bit icy or wet. As it reduces the throttle I’ve found it reduces the chances of wheel spin and eases the power in. Anyone else do this?

I average no less than 30 mpg in sport, 40 mpg in comfort and 45-50 mpg in eco.
Eco-pro does not physically deactive when the road speed exceeds 75 mph, but any benefits offered by the system are negated beyond that speed, hence the reason the instrument gradation is greyed out, prompting you to reduce your speed to 75 mph or less.
My only wish is, that BMW would have married the ZF8 to the M57 engine as I trust the M57 way more than the N57.
Unrelated to this video but you’ve saved me $$$ with your videos. Thank you so much!
@@BMWDoctor Thanks Dean, dementia is strong with me today.
@@mikesloper7112 No problem my friend dont even worry about it
@@BMWDoctor Thanks Doc
In sport mode I can configure 2 things.
Suspension and drivetrain.
Lol
My uncle also has a M140i that thing is a mental car... my gosh after all that tuning that thing is a death mobile.
Thanks for sharing this information, I have a question. If I am on the way and the car is on drive mode eco and I wanna change to sport? Is it worth for engin or transmission. Bmw 2013 328ix
Thanks.
I have a 520d and eco pro mode is so marginally better than comfort that it's not really worth using unless you're going to use it all the time over the space of a year. Over a tank I'll probably get an extra 30 miles or so out of a tank. It's up to you whether it's worth the hit to performance.
I tested it with several repositories. Eco pro mode consumes more fuel in my vehicle than comfort mode, 520xd.
This guy is the legit road warrior
You can code it to start in eco pro
@@AnIdiotAboard_that’s a lot of work lol you could just code it with BimmerCode code like I did. It’s easy and takes a few minutes
On the other side for 3 years of ownership I used the eco pro for about 30 min - it just kills the car performance for 2-3 extra mpg not worth it
its supposed to kill the performance if you listened to how it limits throttle and changes into n when coasting it dose its job w my v8 only gets 25mpg in sport on the e way eco is practical and useful reconsider your take
You can activate Launch Cintrol in Comfort mode with Dynamic Traction Control activated, you dont need Sport+
Just press one time DTC in Comfort and select S on gearbox
Im thinking of buying 430i manual and it has sport +, so what does it then if u say its only for automatic? Cuz manual doesnt have lunch control. Thanks for any info!
Sport + only partially turns off the DSC not all the way off to give you some slip but still kicks in if you take it too far. If you want it all the way off, you need to do that using the traction button 🤷♂️
I have a 330e, I have tried running eco pro and comfort, the only thing I can see that eco pro does is make the car slower and in my experience, uses more fuel.
My sport / ECO button does not work nor does it light up at night : 🤨 any advice as to what it could be ? Thank you
Hi Doctor I have a F10 520i, one thing I find out about the difference between eco and comfort mode is that when I going downhill and off throttle without braking, in comfort mode transmission will stay in a certain gear without upshifting until I press throttle again, in eco mode transmission will upshift automatically and go to 8th gear eventually
I hate eco mode lol I prefer comfort or sport + even sport mode doesn't do nothing but sport + really changes the game, and will push your driving skills to the limit especially in a rear wheel drive car and in the rain :)
In eco pro your car shift gears faster
I have also noticed in eco mode when you go straight and let go off the throttle, it puts the car in neutral, so no engine breaking
This car is older than mine but in newer models ecopro regen is reduced to only when u apply the brakes + engine power is reduced to 60%
120D Msport, Eco mode is good for me in 50-70mph
Comfort causal driving
Sport and sport plus for some fun makes the steering feel sportier aswell😜
Looking to buy one, can you tell a good amount of difference between eco and sport mode?
Massive difference yes@@AlmightyKes
Hey Dean, what about Comfort+ ?
Hi , I have sport plus on my 320d f31 6 speed manual ! So does mine have launch control ? It's a 320d f31 tourer manual !
Hi mate. Please can you tell 2012 f30 320i 168hp N13 dynamic efficient is it good engine or better avoid it ? Thanks
Very informative video. I have the f10 535d m-sport it has the 8 speed gearbox but no sport plus. Can you use launch control without the sport plus? Cheers
One question really(maybe useless)
You said that the eco pro mode is basically useless.
But is it usefull on downslope road or into city center?
Because you don't need extra power from your engine in those cases...
Is there any difference between having it in sports plus mode as to having it in sports mode with traction off?
The only thing I couldn’t find is: does the amount of power change? I sometimes feel like Sport unleashes full power while Comfort takes like 20HP away… at least on my E84 25d
I beg to differ regarding Eco Mode because seen over 50mpg in Eco Mode on my M140i.
Also regarding Sports and Sports+,
In Sports mode all the safety features are switched on but with Sports+, you get dynamic traction control activated which gives you more slip from in the rear, more exhaust pops and burbles and even more throttle response, well it certainly does in my M140i 😁😉
If my car is XDrive, when going Sport+ will all the power go to the rear wheels?
Is there a way to keep the Eco pro mode on after the car turns off and then starting it again?
By coding
BimmerCode
I dont know why but I always has comfort mode on.
Really loves it!
So sport + is a add on option? My sport wagon came with it already
You haven’t got the 6wb dashboard.
You mean the digital speedo in red, right?
Can u recommend the best mode to use in a 318D manual pls?… when towing a heavy twin axle trailer weighing 1.5tons ??? TIA
I have a 320d non m sport and I do have the sport+ and also its a manual🤔
Cool, thanks! I’ve been wondering what the diff modes really do. I do wish you showed us the launch control sequence just to cap off launch control mode!
Finally a good video about this 👏🏻
Great video 📹 thanks I'm new to BMW I have a 125 I series M .I like the way you explaine the running of the motor cheers Australia 🇦🇺.
It Will be faster than sport +
what mode is better for engine when drive on highway
Eco mode
How about sport+ in a manual? BTW. I get a lot of extra miles with eco pro on my 328i manual
Can anyone help, in comfort mode, when I click the paddle shifts turning into manual, how do I change it back to auto without moving the gear stick into sport and then back into auto, I have a 335d 2015
It will go back to full auto after about 30 seconds just don't use the pedal shifts and be light on the throttle.
Really good video, great explanantion. It would be lovely if you could add how the engine sound differes on different modes and also showing an example of launch cintrol
Hey Doctor,
I'd like to buy a F36 30D, but Im confused by the Efficient Dynamics line on the tachometer. What does that mean? Is it only there because of the Eco Plus mode? I'd appreciate it if you could explain.
I heard they are slightly less HP, but more fuel efficient. Wouldn't make any difference imo
@@thekids_callmeboss6577 thank you very much, you have helped me a lot!
How have you got the old system but new design on the dash?
Hi Dean, i have a 2011 F10 535d but don't have the mode buttons in the thumb nail or paddles on the steering wheel. Any chance you know why this is? I can't seem to find a concert answer anywhere.
ok do you have ICM module fitted on your car ? if so it can be retrofitted to your car and I can retrofit if you want it done
@@BMWDoctor thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if i do but will have a look and let you know. Great channel btw, love your content!
I have a 520d f10 2016 with the 8 speed transmission but no sports plus, is this something that can be enabled?
Did I hear M5 f10? please share with me any ones out there for black on black f10 m5 good video’s!
Thank You From A New BMW Driver....
F30 30d XDrive, by the way ..
I want 1 of those bmw body warmers...... were do I buy I'm a bmw m3 owner..... 👍🏼
Bruh its not twin turbo
Eco mode isn’t something I like😊
One thing I don’t understand.
Luckily we BMW drivers are used on it🤣🤣🤣
Great vid. Just bought a 2017 BMW 330e m-sport :D
Hi, I'm driving X1, only think I don't get it is why rpm are same on comfort and eco mode 2.0i - I though they will be lower when you switch to Eco.
What difference if i have it on sports plus and push the auto knob to the left, whats happening tia
Hey there from Germany ate my F11 the previous owner has changed the interior and know Seat heating don’t work and ambient light help please
Finally a British one for a similar car I got. Luckily I researched because this is 3 months ago and I looked a while back. Got a M235i on the way!
Thx, I loved you in Deliverance.
I reckon Eco Pro is probably alright for driving on an empty motorway... Don't know if it will give you much of an improvement though, not tried it yet!
Mine is 2012 active hybrid 3 it’s not going to sports mode keep being back to comfort
Can you do remote coding as head unit is kinda dead not responding on scan , navigation keep coming back to no signal . It’s a Japan import
One question I have is when I use the paddle shifters and for some reason want to go back to D is there a way to make it do that? I have had the car for 8 years and don't know.
It will automatically go back to D when you don’t touch the paddle shifters for a few seconds.
Do all cars with sports mode have sports display?
Surely, with an LSD your Sports Plus mode is for drifting?
Is it only in f10 530d you get sport plus
Hi Dean, so like u said I can code the sport+ mode on my bmw f20 118i? The car didn't came with it but I can code it in right? When I code it in will there be any system errors in my car?
Have you been able to add the sport plus?

My eco pro works even at 85mph on the M140i still showing the blue bar.
I drive my G20 330i only in Eco Pro (75%) and Sport + (25%)😅
Eco Pro is brilliant. Lift and coast, early gearchanges etc. My consumption is 1-2 Liters less for 100Km 🤷🏼👍🏻
You should have bought a prius then
I'm sorry, does someone know how to set automatically eco Pro? I prefer it when I have to move around the town
