Love these dragon reports! I have completed fell in love with the area, and all dragon related things since my first outing few years back. Can’t get enough! These vids give me a fun taste while I wait for my vacation time to come around and go drive myself!!
Met you years ago when I was corner worker for one of the earlier Hillclimbs near Joyce Kilmer. You've done quite well for yourself, produced great footage, and helped promote the great driving roads Graham county and WNC has to offer. Hope that area stays a somewhat hidden gem and a mecca for enthusiasts, be it 4 wheel or 2..
You helped my buddy when he wrecked his Ducati just below the dam back in 03. I believe you had a neon at the time and drove all the way back to the store to call the ambulance for him and then came back! Just wanted to say thank you!
Yup! The old Plymouth Neon, auto-tragic. LOL Hope everyone turned out ok. I don't remember that one specifically, but I will always try to help all we can. Thank ya!
Getting the itch for 718. Would love GT4 or GTS 4.0, but even used are 100k+. Looks like alot of aftermarket for the 2.5L. with some good #'s after tune and more low end grunt than the flat 6. Are you running APR tune? I'm not far from Robbinsville....can you recommend Porsche tuner.
No I'm running the Soul sport cat, then straight pipes, no mufflers. The unequal headers give it that lumpy sound by combining the pulses from 2 cylinders at the collector, and being 4 cylinder instead of 6 means less pulses per revolution also, so it gives it a very lumpy old-school Porsche sound compared to the N/A flat 6s with equal-length headers. The turbo also kills a lot of the noise and acts as a muffler of its own. Both platforms can sound great, these 4-bangers just take more work to get there.

You're applying some of the lessons learned from the kart -- smoooth ---
Nice and smooth 😎
Hate when the speedometer gives inaccurate readings!! I was up there that day...Didn't see the Spicy VW!

You have catless headers on your cayman? I have a GT4 with full catback Soul exhaust and still doesn’t sound that good!
