I feel like this is for me. I couldn't sleep in Cincinnati Ohio. I got up out of bed. I picked up my iPad and saw this. I needed this. Really struggling with anger and hurt tonight. So thank you. Today is my birthday. 68 today. I'm sad. I'm alone. I'm hurt. And I'm angry. I waited 10 years for the man I married to get his act together and quit drinking, and make a life for us again. I feel like I can't take it anymore. Please pray for me. Living alone with no friends or family is too much. I feel like I'm not coping anymore. Thanks for the beautiful song. Just would like to see some good change happen for me. I need it. It's been too long. I don't want to go mental. I can't continue without love in my life. It's been too long. 🙏

Toby I don't know if you see these comments but this song means the world to me. You put this version out when the world was going through a crisis and in my personal life I was going through a major crisis with my daughter. She struggles with mental illness. Every time she is in crisis mode I listen to this version on repeat. I especially love that it is with your daughter. It gets me through the hardest days of my life. Your music has been in my life for over 20 years since your DC Talk days and I thank God every time. Right now my daughter is going through another crisis and again this song gives me strength. Thank you!

Hey Toby, I just wanted to say thank you. This season has been so hard on my family and I. April marked the date my grandpa died 14 years ago, I never got to meet him. My siblings and I recently found out we will not be returning to school this spring. My dad had to lay off some great people at his office, and everyone else including my dad had to take a pay cut. The resent storms on Sunday and Monday nocked out our power for 3 days. We haven’t been able to see our family in Alabama since Christmas. For years now I have listened to your music. My brother and I used to dance to your Speak Life Album when we were younger. I can relate so much to your music so much. So I just wanted to thank you.

I was thrilled to see you in Portland Oregon Toby.....it was the 1st time ever just recently after you losing your son tragically even. I know the your family is still dealing with a loss but I feel that God wants to remind you that even though the pain can seem unbearable at times he has a plan even through this, just remember that and your lyrics even as far back as your 1st albums. There may be some songs you wrote that just may speak clearer now to you?. I'm not sure what that means? Maybe you do.

I missed you at FISHEFEST this past June 2019 because I was sick again, so my sister, grandson & I missed volunteering for that outreach & I was so bummed. I hope to one day get the pleasure of hearing you and your Great band play in person. My family & I are pretty much volunteers for your concerts & we don’t get the chance to enjoy your grooving up on stage. My grandson and I helped working your merchandise stand when you were at the Honda Center when FishFest was there back in 2018. We had a blast running your merchandise tables. The Lord is good.
