Here is the actual full story and his sentencing:
He shot and killed his wife (the one recording) because she stole $120,000+ from his savings and gave every single bit of that money to the guy she was having an affair with. Furthermore she was going to file for a divorce and use this footage as evidence to take full custody of their daughter and leech child support off of him even though he is literally dead broke from being robbed by her.
Since he plead guilty he was sentenced to 10 years in prison with a possibility of parole after 5 years so realistically he would probably serve only 6 and his jury was all female mind you. The reason why they gave him so little of time considering it's murder because they classified this as a "Crime of Passion". What is Crime of Passion you may ask? It's a crime committed in the "heat of passion" or in response to provocation, as opposed to a crime that was premeditated or deliberate. Another contributing factor as to why they jury found empathy was because the daughter stated that the father never physically abused her mother in any way and this was completely out of character for his behavior.

The daughter 100% knew about the affair
It surprises me that his daughter still denied her dad‘s intention. I don’t know if she’s naïve or she’s in shocked of this reality and can’t compress about it. I just hope in a near future, she understands How’s it hard to be a couple and try to raise a family. It’s not that easy. There’s a lot of sacrifice lot hardships. But mainly, I hope she comes to realize and forgive her father and try work things out, but I have my doubts seeing how the world is such a shit hole now these days.

Adultery is a dangerous game.
The real question is why stand there and record someone pointing a gun at you instead of run away and report it to police so they go to prison for attempted murder and you go to McDonald's instead of what happened

The amount of people justifying murder is crazy to me. Idgaf what happens, if it’s not in self defense then killing another person is wrong, period. Cheating doesn’t justify murder. Stealing your money doesn’t justify murder. Was the wife wrong for what she did? Hell to the yes, without a doubt. But to shoot her three times with a MOTHERF***ING SHOTGUN!? You gotta be sick in the head in some way, shape or form because I promise you that is not a normal human response. Even the amount of anger that learning about the affair and stealing would cause doesn’t justify the blatant execution of your wife/ex-wife because there are SO many things he could’ve done even if they didn’t have the conclusion he wanted. Anger isn’t an excuse for crimes or horrible actions in general because for each person who lets anger win, there’s two people who think it through and wait to calm down before acting. If you wanna sit here and say “Oh well it was justified” or “I’d do the same sh*t” then I suggest you take a long hard look at yourself and consider mental help.
