Perhaps he is trying to get his version of the event publicly known, , thinking that the more he has hearing from him, , the more he raises the odds of jury members recalling his story, forming a basic opinion prior to his court hearing. This is actually why many people are told not to discuss their cases in interviews or on social media because they consider it to be tainting the jury pool. It can sometimes sway a case where the public forms their own first opinions, & despite the actual evidence of the case in court, the jury will actually hold onto their first impressions despite having conflicting evidence. This is a tactic that has been used by defendants like Chris watts & Michael Peterson & Scott Peterson among a few other people who thought that the court of public opinion would have a good impact on their cases, cause people found them likeable or something

There's no such thing as a warning shot. You either are justified in shooting someone due to fear for one's life or to protect another's life, or not. A "warning shot" indicates he didn't feel like he needed to protect himself from life threatening injury. Regardless of whether you are guilty or not, if you are being charged with a crime NEVER TALK TO THE PRESS especially during an ongoing case. If he fired at a door why wasn't he worried about ricochet? Why didn't he call the police before he came outside? Why didn't he report it when he got home if he was that scared? This person came to his home so it could be a justified killing but this man let his emotions get the best of him and it sounds like he may have made a lot of mistakes that will definitely be brought up in court. I will be curious to hear the outcome on this one. I still am very surprised he thought talking to the press during this whole ordeal would be helpful to him in any way but it's done now. Road rage is so damn immature to begin with. People are driving big machines that can easily become weapons and road ragers need harsher punishments so even if he is not convicted for killing the guy he should be held accountable for being reckless with a vehicle, especially when their little road rage spat ended up leading to someone dying.

    3. Unless you’re threatened with physical violence, your displaying a firearm first means you lose in the battle of self-defense. And going off of what this clip details (I know, probably not very informative and doesn’t tell the entire story - but just enough for the viewers to get the picture), the other road rager didn’t brandish anything threatening other than losing patience with this guy.
