Assault? Sounds like attempted murder to me. And the video should be released immediately, not after they've had time to "edit" it.

The guards at the jail have all been hired buy the sheriff. The majority of them will never be on the street as a “deputy”. They will never be certified to patrol. Most of them didn’t pass their psychological exam. Most sheriffs require their deputies to spend a year at the jail. It gives them a better idea of how they will act in the public. If they preform to deputy standards then the leave the jail. If they don’t they get to stay at the jail or they get to leave the county. In Texas, if they decide to leave and try a different department, any place he/she worked for and left, either on own free will or “at will”ed out cannot disclose the reason. It’s “the right to work” law. Thats how dangerous people end up on police departments. They get on a sheriffs department even with a failing psychological exam. The next agency doesn’t have to do an exam. The applicant has already had on done, has been hired and made it through the 1 year probationary term. “Good to go!”

I did time in Texas I didn't hate the police I didn't hate the judge I didn't hate the prosecutor. When I got into prison I hated those damn guards. They think it is their personal job to make your life as miserable as they possibly can outside of you already losing your freedom and everything else. When a guard gets beat I don't shed a tear. Texas prisons got so bad the federal government had to intervene for human rights violations. There was a time that the inmates literally did the guards job we called them turn keys. They would beat you to within half an inch of your life. I totally get it prison is not supposed to be nice but it's not supposed to be a place where you are subjugated to sadistic human beings that are in charge😮
