Tiny Orchard Quilts what a wonderful quilt... I have some Kaffe Fassett Collective fat quarters jumping up and down saying use me.
As I’m registered blind I’ll be cutting quarter square triangles with my AccuQuilt 12 inch Qube (they come together to make a 6 inch square)... Now do I go to see if I have enough variety and start a new project or do I continue with my current project... silly question I’m off to see what I have available and if I need to find any more

I am thinking of a lot of different colour ways. Some like an ombre style that would lighten to one end, like red, pink, & white, or red, orange & yellow. Or even a stronger contrast like black aqua & purple. What a lovely quilt.!

I love your videos. I love how you talk clearly you don’t pronounce your words weird you don’t smack your mouth in your videos you just say what you have to say and you have a very calm tone. I’m watching these videos to learn how to sew and learn new techniques and so many people who sew, talks so fast that it gives me anxiety. I would like to see you do videos where you actually do a project in real time like let us watch you sew and talk us through it. Maybe a live

I have been collecting fat quarters (and a few eighths) of batiks for ages to make a HST quilt, and couldn't find one I liked... now I'm torn between this one and the Rainbow Gems! Maybe using some cream prints as background...maybe my rainbow batik, just to fully embrace the chaos. I need someone to choose for me. Like another commenter said, thank you for doing all the brain hurty stuff!

I love the idea of this quilt. I love that it's scrappy as well as gradient and that you give a method for achieving a well-balanced randomness. I am thinking you could totally use the same idea with two colors such that you'd start with one, blend into the next, and then blend back into the first color. Or you could turn it on its side and made a skinny version for a table runner--perhaps with more transitions. So fun and flexible. Thanks for all the great ideas.

A very simple to understand pattern that is broken down into manageable parts. It looks like a difficult pattern at first glance. Organized and well written pattern and video. I like hour magic finger snaps that complete early steps. We could all use it for the repetitive parts. I like to listen to free audio books on my phone. I appreciate the tips on trimming or not trimming blocks and the variations on fabric selection and sizes. It creates inspiration and ideas for us.
Good pattern for leftover, orphan 10 inch squares that are in similar color groups. Mmmmm.

Thank you for the wonderful instruction and inspiration! Finally a quilt worthy of my many bins of yardage sorted by color! One thing to bring to your attention: At minute 14:30, the screen says 8-inch squares will yield a 54-inch long quilt and indeed the math supports that, but you and the free pdf say that same quilt will be 64 inches long.

I love the way you explain things. So easy to understand. And thank you also for explaining how to trim the blocks to the correct size.
