Does the explorer battery fit this model, or is the battery compartment too small?
They do not fit an explorer Flitecell. But to be honest if if could I wouldn't, it defeats the purpose of keeping the board light and agile. Trust me one of these with a nano rips hard.
7 K is still a crazy price to pay
Some people spend 7000 to watch one game of football 2 weeks ago. It's all subjective.
A lot easier to stomach then 15k. 7k is expensive but 3k would be cheap. I'd be happy at 5k for soem5ning I trust my life with

Right!? The AIR pro is lighter than an Ultra L and it rips just as hard! If you have 13k to spend getting two AIR pro's vs one Ultra L is a valid move. Riding with your family and friends is the best way to fly.
@@BayFoils totally:) I was on the verge of buying a pro, now I’m going to buy two airs so my wife/kids/friends can come out with me, and eventually pick up a pro or ultra board down the road when I want to upgrade. The way you can change out parts in their ecosystem is brilliant.

Website says AIR Pro is 57.1 lbs (board, wings, efoil, + nano flight cell)
If I configure a Pro Carbon w/ nano, it says 53 lbs?
Still comparable - but I'm not sure I'm reading the numbers right?
It felt lighter than a pro but heavier than an ultra L when I lifted them back to back during the demo (very scientific I know). That being said the version I was able to try out was was prototype unit, the production models could be a little heavier maybe. When I get a AIR Pro first thing i will do is weight it.

Lift has a new board for 7995.00. Waydoo always has. What's the big deal?
The big deal is the flite's efoil and battery technology is superior to lift and waydoo which in the past justified their higher price point, but now you can get the safest and highest performance efoil on the market for less than the other brands (at least in the USA). A Fliteboard is plug and play efoil that doesn't require app registration via cryptic instructions, you put the battery in connect the two leads and its ready to go. Also flite has never had any batteries catch on fire, can't say the same for lift or waydoo.

That's a toxic response friend, we enjoy all brands and want to celebrate all efoiling. Personally we choose to sell the brand that put safety above all else, efoils are dangerous enough as they are heavy and fast the last thing you want to add on that is thermal runaway or ESC failures. Sure direct drive motors are louder but they are more powerful but its a small thing compared to the issues other brands deal with.

Your not supposed to look at me watch the people in the back😂. The lighting was too dim when I shot this so the background removal filter was filtering out the mic (in front of my face lol)
The ONLY group in the water that CANT actually surf !!!!!
While its not intended for surf the AIR is compatible with the 80cm mast and folding prop and flow wings.the I will make sure tag you in out videos surfing the AIR pro once they arrive.🤙
