Thanks for you perspective, much appreciated! I am seriously think of getting the exact same board. My last Fliteboard was a series 3 Pro with a Flow 1300 wing. Your review was really helpful, cheers 😀

can you post of video of how small and light it packs down to when deflated? Small form factor is the key to luggin an efoil around

Sorry I haven’t made a vid but I did post a photo on my instagram. It’s pretty small smaller than an ultra.

I feel like the inflatable part would get torn apart pretty rapidly right? Especially in big waves? How do you attach a leash to the board? I didn't see a leash plug anywhere, and attaching leash to the inflatable part would destroy the inflatable section and rip it open... Right?
Ultimately I'd love to get the ultra l2 but it's an insane amount of money to pay cash... I can afford the air one but im scared it won't be durable.
What do you think of that board in the waves? Is it easy enough to turn to do cut backs? Do you think the board is durable?

There is only leash plugs on the ultra models. I do think the pro boards should have leash plugs as well. Many people are just attaching a leash to the lifting handle on the pro and I don’t see how this would be any different. As to the board being torn up in the waves, I don’t think that’s likely. I actually feel like this Board would feel better if it went across the rocks. The reality is time will tell. The beauty of Fliteboard is that they come with a two year warranty so you don’t really need to worry too much. If you have a look at the pricing structure, you can basically buy the flight air now and then buy the ultra Board later and you’re not out of pocket by very much at all. Sorry for the late reply. I hope this was useful.

"Good" inflatables are incredibly strong these days. I have several as well as hard boards and you take the inflatables places you'd never take your hard board and they STILL look better (like new) and outlast the hard boards unless you cut them with a knife or something. Rocks? You want inflatable. ;)

How did you get the sound of your voice so clear. Are you using a mic? or a filter?

Do you know what the technical issue would have been to accommodate the explorer battery? I think that's the only thing holding me back at this point.

I think Flite realised that the explore is not a popular as it was. This is mainly due to the weight. Also these are aimed at the more budget conscious individuals.
