    WD40 has a special spray for electrical contacts. I think this is better than the throttle cleaner.
    Thank you for the video!

      YEs...but I don't leave the excess of WD40...I always clean the excess..but it also protects from corrosion

      I was going to answer your question on "what fliteboarod told me about the broke true glide"....but you found this video...Yes...as long you do what I said here you will be fine and as I said in the other videos I only use the true glide when I got surfing... too expensive if it brakes and trust me Ive broke about 3 props hitting rocks and other things...a $40 prop is not so bad...I also ride with a back pack with some "gear in it" just in case. thank you for the comment...greatly appreciated .... if you ever call fliteboarod to order anything mention them the tips you learned here...greatly appreciated...I got more videos coming out and Im just trying to help the community ... Like you I love my fliteboarod and is super gratifying as you know by now...cheers mate...enjoy your summer...im freezing here now lol

      @@Coach_Rolando thanks for your reply. By the way the name I am using here ‘Gorditcho’ was given to me by a friend from Brazil, my actual name is Gordon, but my friend Clovis walked into the room one day and just looked at me and said Gorditcho and laughed. He told me it meant little round one in Italian. He thought it was pretty funny as I am 6ft 2” and not round at all. He’s a great guy, he’s from São Paulo, but now he lives in Florianopolis, Brazilians are cool and as you said in another post I think we Australians are similar, that’s why we get on so well. Clovis loves to surf, I wonder if he’ll get a Fliteboard? Anyway all the best my friend 🖖

    Great tips there and wow can’t believe you can’t feel that front wing with all that damage!
    Give wd40 a try on the mast, I have a black one and it takes all stains off easily even sunscreen and looks like new

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando  Год назад

      Trust me… I have found tinny pieces of fish “menos” inside of that whole on the front of the wing...I looks like a sharks mouth lol… but I’ll have to fix it soon. Thank you fir the tip about the WD40… I’ll give it a try

  • @Fluterra

    I would not put WD40 in the screw holes or on the screws! What you do by doing so is effectively reduce the strength (torque) that the bolts hold. So torquing to 6NM is no longer 6, but

      @Coach_Rolando  Год назад +1

      Yes I understand what you say…. But I use it as a cleaner…. As you can see I spray them I clean the excess with a Q-tip… all the debris comes out and so far I never had a problem with the bolts coming loose or loosing torque to hold the mast or the wings. I appreciate your concern …. Thank you for the comment

      @@Coach_Rolando Yes, I understand. I would maybe put some rubbing alcohol in each bolt hole and on the bolts themselves just to be sure all the WD40 is gone...

    Could you make a video of how you travel with the flite board on top of the car?

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando  Год назад

      Absolutely… thank you for the feed back… but just to be specific… what exactly… the whole thing… strapping and so on?

    • @crisp_b
      @crisp_b Год назад

      @@Coach_Rolando yeah the whole thing that would be great. I’m getting sick of breaking the board down every-time I go out because it doesn’t fit in my car with the mask and wings on. I have roof racks but I haven’t tried using them with the flitebaord yet. Thank you!

      @@Coach_Rolando sounds good I appreciate it. I originally ordered the fiber glass board but it came damaged and they were back ordered so they sent me the carbon.
