It kind of made me sad when Jimmy looked over and Higgins wasn’t there to keep the joke going. I hope he’s okay!
Yeah I wish he was there too!

What happened to him?
Anna-Sophia I heard that he has pre-existing conditions, so he’s staying home to be on the safe side. Plus, his daughter is a nurse who works with COVID patients everyday.
LOL MY ALEXA TURNED ON WHEN HE SAID “Alexa, what does copious mean?”
Mine did too! And told me what copious meant 💀
@@heatherfarmer6318 SAME

Alexa, STFU!
It's like that old saying, "Don't be a fool, stay in Zoom School" 🤣🤣
@Arariia 💖 🤗
That *old* saying
Very old saying indeed
Is that like 6 months old or 3 months old?
I wonder how many Alexa’s activated after jimmy said Alexa
Mine
Mine! Lol
mine too
Came here to say this.
Me
The hot tub kid is a genius!!
👍I laughed out loud at that one 🤣🤣🤣
Of course my Alexa then found it necessary to tell me the definition of copious 🤦♀️
I tutor a girl (make sure she stays focused during zooms and help with homework afterwards) .
On the first day one teacher had the kids all unmuted so they can introduce themselves, I had my phone on silent and a add popped up with sound. The kid I tutor and her class burst out laughing.
It was the candy crush add “Ohhh yeahh” “Juicy”.
The teacher asked to see the kid and me after class.
We all had a huge laugh again afterwards of me explaining what actually happened.
#bestfirstdayever lol 😂
I laughed a bit at the "Shut the Hell Up" mug one.
The time when my 11 year old said "Now carry the 2... and there! You did it! Good job!", then put a star sticker on my paper.
#HomeSchoolFail
That’s what I literally do with my mom
I'd call that a win haha
He whispered, "keep you in our thoughts". Hahahaha all parents can relate
In watching this, Alexa just came on and gave me the definition of copious. 😉😜😂
My alexa just SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME!!!! Except instead of copious it heard Corona! 😭😭😭😭😂😂
Did it explain stuff about the coronavirus?
@@LarrytheKing16 yes!!!
Remote learning is not the same thing as homeschooling. Homeschooling is when the parent or some other family member teaches their child, NOT doing school at home.
While you make some good points, the original statement is absolutely true. Remote learning, while it does occur at home, is not homeschooling. Saying that no homeschool parent makes their own curriculum is a bit extreme. Homeschool parents are making the curriculum choices they feel are best for their children. Parents take on the responsibility of choosing and implementing the curriculum (changing and customizing as they see fit to meet their children’s needs). Which is very much different from what we have been doing with remote learning where the teacher makes the curriculum choices. Those lessons then get sent home where a parent may be attempting to implement those with their children. However, far too often the children are attempting to do this on their own without the support they need because the parents haven’t chosen this, are often trying to manage their own jobs, and sometimes don’t have the ability to support their children fully. The difference really comes down to choice. Homeschooling is a choice made by the families; remote learning was forced on a majority of the families in this situation.
@Kaitlyn Scherner We can make our own curriculum in the UK! 😉👍🏼
Kaitlyn Scherner I think people just have different approaches to home school. My parents created curriculums for me and my 5 siblings all of our home schooling years because they wanted us to go at a pace that worked for us. I know different states have different requirements though. We were lucky for the freedom. ☺️
School from home is very very different from what I do.
Well yes,but they’re still schooling from home.

I like the show
Um... nothing?
Moms out there I have been homeschooling for over 20 years, the first years is the hardest the fears of your not doing well enough or not getting it all done. Been there got through it and so will you after all were moms its what we do lol. Take a breath and know you can do this, and you will do great. The part that will help them the most with older kids talk about what they are learning how it affects their life why they need to know it, more than once a holy crap I didn't know that has come out of my mouth. Show them the fun of learning by learning stuff together, they love that you don't know everything. With young ones take breaks if you can have them run around the house or do jumping jacks, if you can't hold their attention make lessons shorter and stick interpretive dance in there, dance with them it will be fun. Remember cooking is math and its ok if that is the only math you got done for the day, they will remember it better than the problems in the book anyway. While you still can nature walks have been homeschoolers best friend talk about plants bugs have the draw something, most learning in life takes place away from the table. I hope this helps or at least encourages you. We are moms we can and will do everything lol
Disagree with cooking math is ok if it's the only math you do. I find math a huge struggle and has held me back in career. You need to make that an important part of lessons especially if your child has trouble at math.
@@LJBSullivan well no you can't have all your math done with cooking, but its a great way to get kids using fractions. I also think anytime you can use math in a real world setting it can help with understanding.
@@kreiner1 yes, homeschooling can be successfully done if I can teach my kid the way I learned. This new common core math bs is not working. Even my husband who is very proficient at math has struggled to make sense of some of it. You also can't necessarily go at your own pace when a teacher is instructing from zoom. For some kids sitting and staring at a screen for several hours and trying to keep up with the instruction just doesn't work. I commend parents who are successful at homeschooling, but doesn't work for everyone
@@kimberlysevastyanenko3798 I have no understanding of common core math, lol I took one look was confused on how to add single digit columns.
Watching this to end the night, needed some laughs today. Thank you TTSSJF!
Hot off the press! Love you Jimmy and the Roots
I've been homeschooling for the past few years, and I'm graduating this year. These all made me laugh so hard.
Cheers to all the parents who struggle to teach their kids at home. #homeschoolfail
It should say #RemoteLearningFail. Public school at home is definitely not homeschooling. Love Jimmy though.
And as I was watching this... Alexa answered what Copious means. 🤟🏼
Who else has an over eager Alexa defining copious? 😆🙋🏻♀️
Mine just heard the joke and answered 🤣
Lol. Listening to this and suddenly my Alexa starts explaining "copious."
As someone who just graduated from being homeschooled k-12 this past spring, the last one did me in 🤣🤣🤣
WHERE IS HIGGINS?
He has preexisting conditions and is choosing to stay healthy at home.
a shame they don't do video conference, that's what james corden is doing. miss higgins!
sparky Tuttle he has lyme disease...Jimmy joked it was because he was not considered ‘essential’, but I’m sure his health would have been the main reason

@@indigo9394 His sidekick. I miss him so much.
I was homeschooled from '93-'06. College bound curriculum too - no easy feat before Alexa! I went to college too. Earned a 3.9 GPA at graduation.
What happened after that? Well, long story short, I now work at a drycleaners for $13/hr.
#homeschoolingfail
I'll set the scene: Zoom lesson, someone comes in late with a funny name, genuinely doesn't know how to change it, teacher doesn't believe him and puts him in the waiting room, a few minutes pass and he's back in, still with that name, she again puts him into the waiting room, up until now nothing weird or crazy has happened.
I text him how to change his name, which he then does, she brings him back again, he says he finally figured out how to change it and she tells him that he has interrupted the lesson a bunch of times and throws him out of the lesson completely. She didn't believe him, he didn't interrupt the lesson as she brought him back from the waiting room twice, and she put him in there in the first place, so my question is, what the fuck was going on in her head? It's genuinely one of the most ridiculous I've ever seen/been apart of during a lesson.
#HomeSchoolFail
A lot of teachers are jerks.
@@frolickinglions Yeah but I don't think she's a jerk but that was absolutely ridiculous

I love the Golden Girl one!!!
Something i would say is when ur on a virtual class with ur teacher but instead u start listening to bts instead #HomeSchoolFail
I just make BTS part of my schooling, and that it the greatest part of homeschooling. As part of music a few years ago I decided we needed to listen to current music so I pick a song from the hot 100, we learn the lyrics and sing the song every day (and yes I play the music loud enough to rattle the windows). We decided to do 3 or 4 songs and the gat changed every month.
I- you didn’t have to call me out like that
xD

listening to BTS is bad enough, no matter where you are and what you do ...
The volume on my ipad was on max so when he read the one about the kid asking Alexa what copious means my Alexa responded and scared the crap outta me 😅
I miss Higgins
I had to give a quiz and 1 of my kids was attending class from the back seat of her mom’s car. She’s like, “I don’t have any paper.” So I ask, “Do you have a pen? If so, write on your and your family’s arms, take pics of your answers and e-mail then into me.” ✒️💪🏻

I want to visit in my mom and my little sister told me that she didn't want to do the online school anymore. When I asked her why she told me it was because she farted in the middle of the zoom call and everyone in class heard it.

I'm a virtual teacher for the first time- and by golly if that teacher can tell the parents to stop talking in the bakground then I can to! And I'm going to add put some clothes on!!! No one wants to see that!
Telling people what to do in their own home is the most facist and communist bs. No wonder zoom isn’t going well. Teachers are being pains in the ass
@@bstmeg5237 if someone signs up for virtual school for their children, then there has to be boundaries at home that the parents to agree to. I have 37 1st graders and I am the one who will get chewed out by some one else's parent when their kid has to deal with cussing and boob exposure during class. How is a teacher being a "jerk" by having virtual learning standards? While they are in class, a child is not just in their own home- they are in everyone elses as well. And the teacher is held accountable for what happens.
Anyone else watching this while on zoom class😄
