@Joe Frustration is a natural reaction particularly for a competitive game. I say that if you’re not occasionally frustrated then you’re doing it wrong or are just so bad that zero s***s are given.
If it was anyone else I would have shut the video off when those torps were shot off. BUT...because it was Jingles I hung in there and still not impressed with that temper tantrum.
This tends to be the issue with this game, we all get frustrated and make sarcastic remakes or shout at the screen over how crap some of the team is, but there seems to people a group of people who forgot that it's just a game and will lash out at others verbally and insult others. Sometimes we just need to sit back deep breath and remember this. But a big bonus that he actually admitted his short falls and took his outburst and ego on the chin and apologised directly to the other player.
And then made sure to print screen his apology and send it to Jingles, preemptively assuming Jingles would see his toxicity. I do not think his apology was genuine.

I for one, grew up playing Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox where lobby chat was teeming with the most villainous, filthy, vile, quagmire of toxicity imaginable. This? this is childsplay. Thanks for pointing it out tho Mr. Jingles.
Pfff. We recently played a round where I tried to grind out some upgrades for the Ranger. At some stage, our division noticed that our Prinz Heinrich had turned pink, but ignored it. Only later did we realise that that tool was busy sitting in the cap torpedoing me and shooting me, whenever his guns reloaded. We won handsomely, with me ending up somewhere in the lower half of the team list, while Mr. Pink had also managed to report me. Just for playing a carrier (which is not my main ship class, nor ever will be) while being neither very bad nor very good with it. As regards our Salt Mine Overlord: 6 guns on the FDG? 6 guns on the Leander? o_O never change, Jingles. The Zieten has six, yes, and the Huanghe, but they are ever so slightly different ships.
Love seeing the grace given here. I have heard you say repeatedly you do not show videos with friendly fire early in the battle. I love you giving the warranted grace here given his appology.
Imagine if Pink ships were still a thing, I once got my penalty extended because after I did a careless torpedo shot in a previous match, I went down to grind my Wyoming for a while. Enter a DD on my team not paying attention and t boning me and adding to MY penalty even though I'm the big dumb slow battlship and he was in the dd with the much easier maneuvering and agility.
Nah, a douche is a douche, regardless of how gracious others treat him. The first hallmark of an adult is being able to control your emotions, especially your anger. What is sniper, a twelve-year-old? "You blocked me so I'm shooting you!" The cruiser driver was kind enough to forgive it and overlook it, but being around people who scream and rant (and shoot you) because you did something they didn't like is wearisome. Claiming "I know I have a temper" is that age-old excuse of "I'm just like this" which is utterly bollocks - lots of us have overcome our tempers and learned to be adults. Time this lad does, too.
Wow...just wow. If Jingles hadn't talked about it I would totally have ended my viewing right there! So...YES...we do trust you when you tell us to keep watching, Sir Jingles.
Recognizing your failures, an making amends is a great thing. Not being an asshole in the first place is better. Since the removal of friendly fire, I've noticed a new trend that is quite teeth-grinding: teammates deliberately changing course to screen and intercept your torpedoes so that they can then scoop the kill.
That's not what's happening. Previously, friendly torpedoes would give a warning because there was friendly fire. Nowadays they don't, so if someone's in front of you, closer to the enemy ship and going at it for the kill, they might just not know that they're coming, and they steer into them unwillingly. It happened to me the other day in the Napoli: I went for the cap and turned away to kite (or use my secondaries), the friendly Yugumo lagged way behind me and torped towards me and the cap, didn't say anything, and so I took his torps during the turn. They wouldn't have hit anything anyway, but I was called an "idiot noob" in chat anyway.
@@landochabod7 that's *exactly* what's happening. Don't tell me what I can see with my eyes; sudden turns , blocking as many torpedoes as possible, followed by sudden reverses to resume previous course, followed by their own torpedo attack. Not just once per battle, either - when the same ship does the exact same thing twice, even as many as three times in one fight, that's not a coincidence. Add to the evidence, the sudden diversions do not improve the culprits' firing solutions.
@@lairdcummings9092 I have stopped friendly torpedoes launched by some backline campers plenty of times. I don't do it intentionally, it's just that I'm too focused on what's ahead of me that I don't to look at who's behind me. With no warning, from them or from the game interface, I can't help it. People make sudden turns and sudden reverses to fool the enemy's shells and torps, not to block your own. At least, that's my perspective. I've got about 25k battles and a good winrate, if I have to qualify that.
Making a mistake, or even doing something awful...it's human. Doesn't excuse it. But admitting when you're wrong...top quality here. Send all of our best to the submitter of this video, who didn't forget to put his man pants on this morning.
I've had other players fire at me at the beginning of a match. Mostly in a playful gesture. I never really get fired up over it. Plenty of times people move out in front of me, I rear end them. Oopsies. I would blow the ships horn as a light heart "hey I'm walkin' here!". I thank God that World of warships doesn't have that "friend fire" kills or a ship take damage when rear ending another. Then I would be upset. All good things from sniper. Proud of him for making amends. Real sportsmanship that guy!

If there is no longer "friendly fire" then the torps were nothing more than a shout. But the Des Moines was ahead, yes should have checked before turning... but. If Sniper had been paying attention he only had to back off a tad. Still nice to see that he apologised.

Thats what i thought to, if he realize that he want to send in his Gameplay you better behave insted of exusing after it. Would look much better he would excuse himself already in the midgame, even better if he would just have not done it.

You know the best thing is that this dude probably watched this video, heard jingles calling out his douchery for the first few minutes, then heared that because of the apology the whole video got featured. Good karma for doing the right thing is often rare but when it does...
I have just over a 3% hit rate on torpedoes in the new German ships (BB/BC line) - it is great when I launch them, forget about them, then get a notification that 1 or 3 hit.
The torp behavior was not okay. In aviation the low altitude and less maneuverable aircraft takes priority. The battleship pilot was in the wrong and needed to just say sorry and move on. I know the consumable was wasted but it’s not like the Des Moine didn’t do what he did on purpose.
In a game the other day, someone asked on Battle Chat, "How's the Incomparable?" I contributed, "It's incomparable." Not even as much as a "groan" or an "lol" in return from any of the other 11 players. The base has lost its sense of humor.
One of my early matches (early being Oct. 2015) I had a BB do the same. Though I was in the NC and he was in the Tirpitz. Though in my case. The Tirpitz captain t-boned my NC. Yelled at me for getting in his way. Then proceeded to torp me (with both racks) and fire all his guns. Then made it a point to ignore the game just to sink me. The good thing about that match. Everyone else on my team proceeded to report him and tell the other team where he was.
Yep Jingles, not really able to sit on the fence on this one are you? Re the incident, I really can't put the blame on the DM in this. Be honest here, how many of us actually look around us when playing the game? Camera view doesn't allow us to see behind us, most of us are looking down binocs and the rest are drinking tea while the ships move into position. Sniper, in the faster ship is behind and is in no way un-manoeuvrable, we see that later with the enemy torps. The collision is Snipers fault. and everything else flows from there. Kudos to Sniper for owning up to anger management issues, but he should have had a way of dealing with that before he escalated it to torping his teammate. As JIngles has said in many other videos, if you cant take a joke you shouldn't be playing WoWs. That applies here as well. If you cant deal with a situation without lashing out then you really shouldn't be playing the game.
Dude has over 9,000 battles under his belt. He obviously is a good player technically, but this obviously isn't the first time someone has inadvertently slowed in front of him for him to instantly rage about it and blame the other guy. Total Chad move, initial reaction shows his underlying a-hole attitude. "It's in my nature" isn't a great excuse or apology, to me anyway.
Smack talk is one thing Jingles, but the friendly torps? To me those seem like a flick on the forehead for the annoyance, considering they do no damage.
Run HE shells primarily and she is the most evil smaller ship hunting beasts around . And Jingles! This was a video for your catchphrase "That's a Paddling!"
Are you aware that in one of Drach's, and I'm assuming Drachinifel is well known here, recent posts used the term "trying to win harder"? Thought this should be known.
This ship seems a little OP. What can’t it do? Speedboat, torps, hydro, big guns, planes, fast reload, etc. the only con is that it has fairly weak armor? Doesn’t seem that bad when the ship seems to be a very sharp and deadly Swiss Army knife.
Also note the bug with the Incomparable is that if you accelerate between 10-20 kts with speed boost on you don't accelerate at all. The ship is actually faster in this range without the speed boost.
Actually Jingles, Incomparable doesn't care at all about being overmatched due to hidden plates in the bow and stern. What keeps her lying awake at night is the fact her turtleback is perfectly angled with arms open wide ready to embrace any shell that comes through her side armour above her main belt (yes I'm looking at you, sniper battleships that love to make unexpected house calls from well outside my range). I don't mind the 25mm plating at all. It's the massive citadel that is very good at being surprised from long range.
Hey Jingles another amazing video as always and love your content. Question for you, do you have any advice for an aspiring gaming content creator such as myself.
I feel for the guy, I personally have some temper issues here and there and apologize afterwards, in games such as wows that is, which is why I stopped playing them 😊, cool game none the less!
I think it's a good thing to show a video of someone apologizing, even if it is after the game. Too often we find ourselves responding emotionally instead of rationally. This is particularly true of people who tend to be very competitive. I am this type of person. I can stay calm for a long time, but only if I actively manage it. On occasion though, I might get angry at something or someone and this is perfectly okay. How I respond is the important thing. These are just games, and meant to be fun. I applaud the fact that he owned up to his mistakes and made an apology.
He apologized - no proble The m with the content. If you had cheered on the torping them yes - there would be an issue but not done and the conversation during the game did not go any further. The player torping lucked out that FF was taken out - personally I would like to see it added back in and don't think it should have been removed..
I am sorry that the WOW have moved away from punishing "friendly fire" I think that was a good way to make the players too behave, I know from beeing pink a "few" times, so you must think before fire. This is not like with your "girlfriend", you know, fire and forget:)
well calling something inexcusable that has no consequences anymore isn't what I would call inexcusable. It's like flipping the bird at someone in traffic. Not very bad happens everyday and no one gets hurt.

You can't rule out that he knew he wanted to send the replay to Jingles, knew that Jingles would see his toxicity and therefore only apologised in an effort to get his replay shown.
if you're frustrated playing a game, you're doing it wrong. O.o
@Joe Frustration is a natural reaction particularly for a competitive game. I say that if you’re not occasionally frustrated then you’re doing it wrong or are just so bad that zero s***s are given.
Now that there's no friendly fire, sniper torping a teammate to no effect is barely a douchebag moment for me.
Same. It's not a a-hole move if it doesn't affect the other guy.
Seems to me the only person it inconveniences in any way is the person who did it, and who now has to wait for the torpedoes to reload...
@@Moltenbramleytbh this comment is a prime example of what is wrong in humanity. It's not that we get angry or toxic time to time but it's the fact that we can't forgive to those that have hurt us.
It's a pity our Gnomeverlord didn't mention that this ship existed only in the fevered mind of First Sea Lord Fisher. It's an acid trip of a ship.
It's always refreshing to see someone take the time to apologize for their actions they made with extreme emotion. We're all human, we all make mistakes. So good on him! It actually made the battle that much more fun! If I played more Ranked maybe I'd have the steel for the Incomparable...unfortunately...I don't lol. Well done to Sniper!
Its always so depressing to see how easily duped people are.
Kid obviously likes jingles videos.
Knows Jingles is a premier person within this community and a video on his channel is a claim to fame.
He loses temper at the start of the game, at the start you dont know it will be a good game.
The end of the game comes, you know that was an amazing replay.
You also know Jingles will not show your replay with that bullshit at the start.
So, just drop a quick apology to make it look like you arent a piece of shit.
Here we are, people like you pouring feels in to something done with the most conceited motive.
@@Chris-xl6pd it's always so depressing to see people not being able to forgive.
I'll be honest, If there's no friendly fire, I really don't get why you'd be so angry at him. It seems more like showing a middle finger: Still a douche move, but It really doesn't seem that serious.
its the equivelant of flipping the bird in an envirenment where flipping the bird is frowned upon
Good on sniper for not being too proud to apologize!
Indeed. That was a good recovery. Well done to him.
Nice to see some encouragement. Id been expecting the whole crowd to boo me off stage XD.
The frustration was mainly due to it happened out of nowhere as hed been on my left side then cut accross. Was watching the enemy too much i guess XD.
....would like to point out the the Des Moines who cut Sniper him off, never even went for a simple "Sorry" or "ooops" for being in the way in the far more nimble ship.
@@mynameiswritinwater he responded with "thanks for the nice language" after i called him an idiot for cutting in front. I took that as an antagonistic response which is what pissed me off enough to fire the torps. As seen in the apology i seen there wasnt as much mal intent as i first assumed. Just kinda seen red after i got cut off then seen the response as a mocking statement. Was still in the wrong for the torps tho. Fully accept that XD
@@Crrsniper which is not really the same thing as "Sorry", IMHO.... you at least showed more self-reflection once you calmed down than he did ingame or outgame. just my 2 cents
Actually jingles... the Leander has 8 152 millimeter guns....
Came here looking for this comment
He must mean the Exeter.
Ships like this really show why there should be more ship classes ingame.
It is okay sniper,to lose your temper at times. But you did a gentleman's job
I for one, grew up playing Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox where lobby chat was teeming with the most villainous, filthy, vile, quagmire of toxicity imaginable.
This? this is childsplay. Thanks for pointing it out tho Mr. Jingles.
The Des Moines driver should be given some award for accepting the apology graciously and even complimenting the Incomp’s driver.
To be fair I'm sure most of us have had those moments of anger.
Yeah, 40+ years ago.....when puberty hit. After that, not so much. I grew up.
@@Condors55 Guess people are born after puberty nowadays?
@@Condors55 so you haven't grown up yet?
Love seeing the grace given here. I have heard you say repeatedly you do not show videos with friendly fire early in the battle. I love you giving the warranted grace here given his appology.
Come on, is it that hard to see the apology would never have happened if the kid wasnt trying to get on this channel?
Is it really that hard to see?
Respect to the player he call back his teammate and excuses for his behavior, lot of people wouldn't admit such thing...
Pink names still are thing. You just need to try pretty hard
Sniper did really good, and I like that he took responsibility for his rage and apologized. Cool dude!
When akatsuki meyows, my cat Bēbē-chan always looks around...my crazy furbaby. Thanks for your hard work!
Nah, a douche is a douche, regardless of how gracious others treat him. The first hallmark of an adult is being able to control your emotions, especially your anger. What is sniper, a twelve-year-old? "You blocked me so I'm shooting you!"
The cruiser driver was kind enough to forgive it and overlook it, but being around people who scream and rant (and shoot you) because you did something they didn't like is wearisome. Claiming "I know I have a temper" is that age-old excuse of "I'm just like this" which is utterly bollocks - lots of us have overcome our tempers and learned to be adults.
Time this lad does, too.
THIS!
the red mist drops on everyone once in a while
Wow...just wow.
"Best defense, no be there" ...
MMO players can be total asshats
add the fact that most people are incredibly selfish nowadays
and this is what you get.
Very sad but true
Incomparable is like a hat full of tricks. It will surprise even the most experienced. Kinda like its playstile tho
Was thinking it was going to be one of Jingles old hour long review videos. But it is a very short video
Jingles I torpedo team mates I know all the time… as a way of saying hey buddy 👋 at the beginning of a match
Mr. JinglyJangle
I would like to inform you that you are quite the likable character. Thank you very much!
Jingles: *uploads video*
Me living on the west coast of USA. Damn it Jingles! I need sleep!
Friendly torps didnt even bother me, props to him for being smart enough to know what Jingles character was like. He knew this was a great replay and at the end apologised because he knew if he didnt, Jingles wouldnt have showcased it.
Clever kid.
I love ya Jingles but you got duped mate.
If there is no longer "friendly fire" then the torps were nothing more than a shout. But the Des Moines was ahead, yes should have checked before turning... but. If Sniper had been paying attention he only had to back off a tad. Still nice to see that he apologised.
I reckon they should make an even more extreme version of this ship with only 4 guns. And no torps. Just nice reload and turret traverse.
you know apologizing at all is already better than 90% of the wows community
3:58 "But mostly my problem just with Battleships that have six very innaccurate guns like the Gneisanau and *THE FRIEDRICH THE GREAT!*
Never change Jingles
This is why I love staying up late thank you and hello from Texas Sir Jingles
I completely ignore the chat box, even have it turned off. I'm just here for the gameplay and Jingles!
The cynical ex-military part of me instantly had one burning question to ask. Would the torpedo apology have been quite so forthcoming if the battle itself wasn't worthy of sending in?
Thats what i thought to, if he realize that he want to send in his Gameplay you better behave insted of exusing after it. Would look much better he would excuse himself already in the midgame, even better if he would just have not done it.
I love when someone else makes words for my toughts.
Oh yes Jingles the famed six gun Leander, also know as the Arethusa (which isn't in the game) and the six gun FDG. Please never change o Mighty Overlord.
I mean... In what universe is a Des Moine less manuverable than a battleship, though?
In a game the other day, someone asked on Battle Chat, "How's the Incomparable?" I contributed, "It's incomparable." Not even as much as a "groan" or an "lol" in return from any of the other 11 players. The base has lost its sense of humor.
Very interesting commentary. Thanks
Also Big gun Cruiser
well I also am a quick tempered person, and I appreciate you giving him a chance after the apology.
Gotta love that this guy was in circons clan lol
Why would he even have to apologise for not doing ANY damage, though?
His apologies might be due for his rude speaking, but not for the torps.
Thank you Akizuki, you are such a gem.
I think we've all run into other ships, and been run into. It happens, but good to see our hero and the DM both laugh it off and get the job done.
Next to no armour, impressive guns, torpedos, mostly firing AP, pretty manoeuvreable? Jingles, this is just a very large British light cruiser
Smack talk is one thing Jingles, but the friendly torps? To me those seem like a flick on the forehead for the annoyance, considering they do no damage.
a WoWs player who apologizes for their bad behavior? now that is impressive
For real though, Akizuki is probably like, "Hooman, why are you talking to nobody again? I'm concerned for your mental state!"
Did he mess up ?, yes.
But he also had the spine to man up for it.
Fazit : We all have bad days sometimes...
Run HE shells primarily and she is the most evil smaller ship hunting beasts around .
And Jingles! This was a video for your catchphrase "That's a Paddling!"
Thanks Jingles.
Last time I was early, there wasn't a UK tech tree in WoWs yet. XD
The armor and HP pool are REALLY weak…
It's quite funny, 9:14 is the first time in that whole battle that the Napoli was even spotted.
Hey Jingles another amazing video as always and love your content. Question for you, do you have any advice for an aspiring gaming content creator such as myself.
"[...] six very inaccurate guns like the Gneisenau and the Friedrich der Große [...]" oh jingles, just never change ;)
Totally acceptable 👌
I feel for the guy, I personally have some temper issues here and there and apologize afterwards, in games such as wows that is, which is why I stopped playing them 😊, cool game none the less!
What an absurd ship. WG's balance team has been hitting the vodka a bit I think.
I have encountered A LOT of a-holes with that kind of behavior, but never one that apologized for it.
I wonder if he only apologized because he figured he could get the replay featured.
Well you were right the 1st time when you stopped recording Jingles.
He apologized - no proble The m with the content. If you had cheered on the torping them yes - there would be an issue but not done and the conversation during the game did not go any further. The player torping lucked out that FF was taken out - personally I would like to see it added back in and don't think it should have been removed..
There is nothing better than seeing someone take responsibility for their actions.
I am sorry that the WOW have moved away from punishing "friendly fire" I think that was a good way to make the players too behave, I know from beeing pink a "few" times, so you must think before fire. This is not like with your "girlfriend", you know, fire and forget:)
well calling something
inexcusable that has no consequences anymore isn't what I would call inexcusable. It's like flipping the bird at someone in traffic. Not very bad happens everyday and no one gets hurt.
Honestly I saw nothing wrong with it. The Des Moines should have pulled up instead of just sitting there like a lump. I have seen way worth stuff than that happen.
Yeah, the initial collision was hardly his doing, but the Des Moine certainly didn't make it any easier to get going again.
