I drove this model in high school through college in the 80s. My parents gave me one in 1984. I never really noticed how awesome the grill was and all the chrome on the front and back. My friends called it a land yacht.

Just a nice Ford coupe that’s all the generation T Bird that rode on the Lincoln Chassis from 72 - 76 my favorite and the Aero Birds from 83 thru 88 also my favorite the absolute worse T Birds 80 thru 82 yuk I liked some of the Coupes from the 60s 70/71 yuk the 4 doors from the 60s Yuk the the Birds from the 90s so/so then that last attempt from 2002 - 2005 not too bad but no good when your 6’5” C’mon Ford what do Tall People do

This was when a car was a car and it was built for the road and this was when you could afford to buy one! And now your paying more for a vehicle than buying a house 🏡! And the paint and body were metal and not plastic or the paint from the Japanese!

I have 84000 miles in my 78 and 1 owner im the second and mine is a heratige 351 modified. Mine however is not in this good of condition. It is in good condition but not this good.
545 killed me.
V8 producing 145 hp!
Nah this one has the bigger better 400 it was more like 173 hp but like 325 ft lbs of torque. The T birds with the 302 were pretty well powerless thanks to CAFE standards in the late 70’s.
