This reminds me of when i was a kid sitting in on of these , my friends dad had just bought it and we were amazed it had magical power windows . How times have changed .
Man I'm in love with this classic bird!👌🏾😍 This beauty takes me back to my childhood, when my dad used to drive me around as a kid back in the day. My dad's Thunderbird was black with chrome spoked rims with the same color interior as this one! 🤗
1977-79 Tbird, lots options for those. T- tops, bucket seats, color matched bumper moldings. 900lbs lighter than previous models.
I had 3 79 T birds, all with 351 Windsor engines. My blue one had the floor shifter. I miss them all.
I had a 78.....the car I always regreeted getting rid of. It was awesome.
That is a very luxurious looking ride.

I bought a red one also a1979. It was $7800.00 dollars brand new. These cars weren’t quick until you got past 60mph but on top end they were very capable. I had a new Trans AM 1986 model with the 305 v8 and my dad was in the t bird coming home one night from a ball game, anyway I passed him and just stayed in the throttle which topped out at 130 in my TA then my dad passed me right back very easily in the t bird while I was doing 130 mph. I thought that was pretty cool.
WOW!! I think the fastest I ever went in my ‘78 was 100 MPH.
Amazing style and refinement, quite cheap for a Thunderbird
Though it was a downsize this was a very smooth riding ‘bird.
Two things I noticed right away. The drivers side hood bracket is rusted and the passenger side is not.???
Also the a/C line is totally blocking the air intake for the carberator.
Which I would have the new Holly fuel injection installed anyways.
Overall looks good. I like the color.
And what's up with the manual windows man, come on. !!!! And door locks.

Beautiful T-BIRD!!!!! THOSE TIRES GOTTA GO THOUGH!!!!!! THESE BIRDS NEED SOME GOOD RUBBER UNDER THEM!!!!! I OWNED A 79 BACK IN 81, I WAS THE SECOND OWNER. MINE WAS BLK/GREY INTERIOR/FACTORY MAG WHEELS/SPLIT 60/40 BENCH SEATS WITH ARM RESTS/AMFM,8-TRACK AND A 351 UNDER THE HOOD!!!!! IT WAS A VERY NICE CAR. I PAID $4200.00 FOR IT FROM A FORD DEALER.

I bought a 1980 Tbird .. she was new style...more like the older Tbirds of the 60's.....this 79 was big and tacky
