Also a bit sad that none of the ballades made the list - Liszt: Maybe these are his most popular piano pieces, but certainly not his best. not only that, moonlight sonata made place 5 and 2 which is an impressive feat indeed, though it tells more about the creator of this list then about beethoven.
Although its not entirely classical, but if you are looking for something similar, i can recommend "Brahms Paraphrase" from Ivan Ditmars. I think it can match up to even the no. 1. in this list.
Fun fact, für elise was written by beethoven as a love song to play with his crush, but then he found out that they she was going out with someone else, which is why it was so simple at the start so she could play too, and compicated after, out of spite.
Ahead of its time? Beethoven literally wrote it to be as simple and easy to play as possible so his girlfriend Elise could play it. Beethoven definitely wrote many pieces ahead of their time, but it's not this one. Saying that it is is insulting to earlier composers.
Just imagine them hearing our music from 100 years later. Sure, they would find pieces they would like but many many songs they would just shake their head in disgust!

dang Étude op.23 no.11 winter wind took an unexpected turn
Hello you know that Elise? is she still annoying you? if you say yes I will help if you say no you can compose whatever you want.
Top ten hardest games of space invaders. Good job defending the realm.

I’m surprised the one song from the nutcracker didn’t make it? Is it called dance of the sugarplum fairy?
Yeah, maybe it doesn’t count because it is only a part in a larger performance?
It's because these are only piano pieces
I AM SO LUCKY ABOUT MOONLIGHT SONATA BY BEETHOVEN TO RELAX
Although its not entirely classical, but if you are looking for something similar, i can recommend "Brahms Paraphrase" from Ivan Ditmars. I think it can match up to even the no. 1. in this list.
How did you gauge the view count? Just curious cause I know for a fact that Fur Elise is way more famous than Chopin’s nocturne.
Chopin reigns supreme as far as piano goes. No composer can even come close.
I'm not surprised Chopin is the king of composers. Such a hardass.
I’m so proud of myself I guessed the top three before even starting the video 😆🤣
La Campanella performance was just insane
6:42 MINECRAFT MUSIC?
I feel like Chopin gives me the best of Debussy and Liszt only with more finesse. Truly unique voicings and melodies
The whole Funeral March is my perennial No.1.
Fun fact, für elise was written by beethoven as a love song to play with his crush, but then he found out that they she was going out with someone else, which is why it was so simple at the start so she could play too, and compicated after, out of spite.
fur elise is way way ahead of its time, it tops my chart
Ahead of its time? Beethoven literally wrote it to be as simple and easy to play as possible so his girlfriend Elise could play it. Beethoven definitely wrote many pieces ahead of their time, but it's not this one. Saying that it is is insulting to earlier composers.

@@rafexrafexowski4754 Well, music has gotten increasingly simpler with time, so you could indeed say it was ahead of its time.
it isnt even top 10 LBV songs of all time... sonatas??? Appassionata, waldstein, tempest etc etc....
Thease people are from another planet
08:37 best ever no doubt , accept it
Just imagine them hearing our music from 100 years later. Sure, they would find pieces they would like but many many songs they would just shake their head in disgust!
Chopin and his masterpieces..
