God damn it takes less than an hour to redrill your seat rails to move your seat back so your knees aren't in your chest you would think after 16 years he would have thought of that
@@motorman1873 I take all of my motors to my engine builder. Would far prefer a team of guys with well over 100years of experience to put together 20k of parts exactly right.. As opposed to me trying to do it in my garage with nowhere near the same tools or experience. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Heyyy everyone!!! Just want to say a HUGE THANKS for everyone's comments and sharing there love ❤ I really appreciate every single comment on here 😊 And the biggest thanks to FULLBOOST for making the video and sharing my journey on the car over the years. Hoping to see you all out at the racetrack or streets soon GO THE ROTAS!!! BRAP BRAP BRAAAAP
This is such a cool car, I don't think I have ever seen an RX4 before this video, first RX I've ever seen in Europe was the RX7. So I'm blown away by this machine.
What a sick car i would dead set swap my kidney for that RX4, tell old mate if he needs kidney mine is a 33 years old with about 50,000 beers on the clock
Please for my love of RUclips and fullboost do more of these videos! Any type of car with a little interview of the owner I would watch these all day long
Mad props from Texas, USA. I'm currently redoing the setup in my 808 Coupe from ITB bridgeport 13B to a turbo 13B but this has me seriously leaning to a 20B on my RX3 Wagon! Absolute beast. Just an amazing build. I wouldn't change anything, it's perfect!
A very beautiful car, loves the way the adores his car and telling how he has transformed it over the years...SUPER GREAT job.my son sent me this video and said he wants to go to Australia to see all the shops there...he is 12 and has been a car nut since the age of 7.
That is a beautiful car. You sure put a lot of love, time, effort, and $ into it. I had a 74 (had the ugly rubber bumper uprights) back in the early 90's. Wish I never got rid of it. I worked at a rotary specialist shop in the Seattle area. It had a nice street port 13B with racing beat headers and full exhaust. Holley 450. Rx7 GSL rear end (lsd and rear discs). The early rx7 waffle wheels with a set T/A radial's with the white letters out (think about the time frame). It was fast (at the time) I remember racing a brand new 93 Mustang gt and it was no challenge, so it was a low to mid 14-second car.... that was a fast street car in 1993. So glad you shared this video.
What a great video! This guy seems like such a legend. Love his attitude and love his car. Good work bro! If he ever wants one of our fire extinguisher mount setups please reach out!
You are so on the mark, once you owned a rotary it will remain in your veins for life, but when the seals go its probably the most depressing moment in your life, love the colour mate
That was an awesome instalment! Wild car... and I’m definitely no rotor guy! I love what the owner said”if you have a car like that you don’t need a head shrink/doctor”! 😂😂😂 Wise bloke I say..! Total champion! Hats off too everyone involved in the build process. 🇦🇺🤜🏼🤛🏼🍀🍀🍀😎
So bloody true I gave up seals went every 6 months on me and bloody rotary shop, rank rotary in Melbourne just kept telling me it's better to just put a new reco in. They'd do that, 6 months later seals gone n they'd do the same again.
Always has been always will be mazda’s ‘muscle car’. The coupes in all the Mazda’s are a million times better looking than the 4 door variations too. Watching this is about as close as I will come to owning another RX4 coupe I think haha
Man I love all rotarys and can deny the perfection in the sound of a 4 rotor. That said the 20B has had my heart ever since hearing the 1st one. The 20A has a more rough and grunty sound than the other rotarys. They....just .....sound.......INCREDIBLE!
This is a work of art... I’m looking at FD’s now although their expensive now but something about the sound of rotary engines makes it unreal... bop bop bop bop bop. Love it..
Greece got the 12A, Austria, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK got the 13B. The euro 13B had 5speed transmission and 195/70 tire. As you said, none for Germany.
Owned one of these bad boys! What hurt me the most was buying it from his mother when my best mate died. We rebuild that beast ourselves when I teenager learning our trade, she's always got a special spot in my heart! Very emotional about this model, she was the best in style and noise!
Back in the 70s I had two RX3s and I still say they were the most exciting affordable road cars at the time, o.k. the power or performance isn't anywhere near what you can get today but back then they were the business. I've also had two Suzuki RE5s, an 'M' model and an 'A' model not too long ago and they were 100% reliable, the RX3s not quite so.
Back in early 80's I used to have a 71' Rx-3 and later I bought a 79' Rx-7 it was a 12a with the bridge ported it was a wicked little car! I can't imagine a 20b. This car apart from being beautiful is a beast. Nice ride! God Bless!
Wow!! 😍 This car looks fantastic inside & out, really like the interior. Tastefully done! Lol Makes me want to get one. I live in New England and you don’t see these at all. Old school with new technology.
I had an RX4 back in the 70s. Monster port 13B. 20B wasn't an option back then. I bought the motor from Wayne Dyson himself. Pulled 12 seconds over the quarter. It was bright blue, (genuine Mazda color). I got some good results in car shows. Loads of looks driving it around back then. Loved it. At the time, it freaked a lot of people out.
I had a 71 RX2 2door back in 85' here in California back in the day!! Crenshaw Blvd was the shit. With Epsonlon rims red with white partial vinyl top 13B engine, GT steering wheel and glass pack pipes that sound was a monster. Fosgate (The Punch) sound system man brings back memories. I wish I could find one here in the states 😢😢. Called them back then the V8 eaters.
I used to own a 929 Hard Top Coupe, which had the same design as the RX-4, but with an inline 4. It was a great car, but this one is next level, and a realy beautiful build 👌🙂
I had a maroon 76 929 coupe at 15 and this car is what I wanted to make mine. Life got in the way and I sold when I was 19 to move to the other side of the country for a girl. I've seen this RX4 on the road the past 10 years and I always think of my old 929. That isn't a tear.... it's Dusty......
Nice car, nice build. Rotories didn't catch on too well in the North East 'States, however. Around here they are buying RX-8's and LS swapping them. Never forget the 1st rotary racer I witnessed on a road course. Consensu was "Mad Chainsaw"... I know they get a lot of support in California, but that's a different car culture altogether.
Wonder how fast he's going on the road and still broke tires loose ? That's insane and what a beautiful piece of auto history i really have always been big engine or nothing but these Rotary engines are power packed . Thanks for great video 🌎🇺🇸
That is a beautiful car. Great job to all involved. I love how much this fella loves this coupe. Long time builds like this one are great to learn about. Gives me hope that one day I too could have my project finished to such a high standard.
The big block of the chook cookers, yet in the engine bay you still have to lean in to see it lol The polished and chrome look will never be unfashionable, absolutely perfect use of brightware at every corner of this car👌🏻
Cosmo is what it was called in the states. Rare as hen's teeth in Michigan. My buddy had one, and everyone asked win what was wrong with his Vega. Super cool. I had an 83 FB RX7 with a stock 12A. It was a hoot.
loved this video! i reckon this intro, voice over, interview, dyno clip etc would be PERFECT on one of the Xbox/Playstation games.. Forza Motorsport would be amazing with something like that when you choose the a car(in game) matching anything you guys have reviewed.
Amazing car, the RX4 is my favourite 70s Mazda and I'd love to own one, one day. My first 2 cars were 1986 Mazda 929 coupes which I always wanted to rotary swap but couldn't afford that sort of thing as a P plater. But my dream car is probably a JDM HB Cosmo or JC Cosmo 20B.
You can tell he really loves that car and talking to people about it. Seems like a great bloke.
Truth
Especially when he's talking then stops mid sentence to hear the engine and shift gear 👌👌
Can confirm he’s one of the best guys I’ve met and is loved by all who crosses his path.
God damn it takes less than an hour to redrill your seat rails to move your seat back so your knees aren't in your chest you would think after 16 years he would have thought of that
@@blackthunder7342 Seems you missed 11:46...where you sliding the seat to? 🙄
This owner is the original car guy from the early 2000s different passion and love for it you can tell how he talks about it 👌 not many left
Real car guy hey you build my engines and make me a car because I can't do it.

Still one of my favorite cars featured on this channel (and I'm not even that into rotaries), can feel the love that's gone into it.
What a sick car i would dead set swap my kidney for that RX4, tell old mate if he needs kidney mine is a 33 years old with about 50,000 beers on the clock
Probably doesn't want a kidney that has AIDS man.

Absolute beast. Just an amazing build. I wouldn't change anything, it's perfect!
His smile when he gives it some says it all. That's definitely what it's all about. Love his passion. Good on ya mate.
that is the most perfect rx4 ive ever seen credit to the owner@!
What a car. Build quality and the design of everything has been carefully thought out and executed.
Love it.
Had 2 RX4 coupes, such a great looking ride. This guy is so passionate about this car, thumbs up!
His enthusiasm towards it is great. The cars beautiful.
What a car!! Amazing built. Also never heard anyone say a bad word about Daniel Pantelic. Absolute legend
It's a had crafted 4 wheel jewel. I can't imagine how much effort you pour into it. Just one word, "beautiful"...
Australian Vin Diesel! Epic RX4!
He has put in the hard yards to have that RX4 as good as it looks and the sound is amazing!
Love and respect from Saudi Arabia fans to all mazda lovers 👋😘

The sound of a rotary motor,, it's therapy.
Sounds like a very torquey Cosworth V6 - as used in the Metro 6R4
Lovely car, and a top guy owner.

Everything about this was so well done, hope we can see a repeat of this format.
We have made videos like this in the past 👍
good to see some of your older style content
He is right about that rotary smile. Have not owned one for 25 years time to get back in one .
That is an AWESOME car and a top bloke with a great attitude that owns it ...
Such a BEAUTIFUL display of an rx4 coupe, Owner def sounds like a nice Guy who's all about Rotaries and having Fun with it
I’m not even a rotary fan and that thing is incredible.
Those are really common in Australia and Puerto Rico
