The 2017 INFINITI QX60 delivers on the classic idea of spaciousness as luxury while also packing strong entertainment and safety features. It combines the best attributes of a large SUV with a car-based platform that allows it to make the most of its space while offering a surprisingly nimble driving experience. New for 2017 is an available hands-free power liftgate.
The QX60 comes standard with a new 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The boost of 30 hp and 22 lb-ft compared to last year will definitely be noticed. Acceleration comes on strong and is available across a wide range of speeds. Power gets sent through a continuously variable transmission to either the front wheels or available all-wheel drive.
Predictive forward-collision warning can tell not only if a collision is imminent between you and the car ahead of you, but also if the two cars ahead of you are about to get into a fender-bender, giving you an extra moment to brake. Read more on CarGurus: cargur.us/gF632

I owned the fully loaded JX35 and traded it in at 56,000 miles for the fully loaded I 2016 QX60. I have nothing but good things to say about both vehicles. The quality of workmanship is excellent and the cars are very reliable. On long trips both were/are extremely comfortable. Fuel economy is as stated. For the cost of the cars compared to the competitors, you get more for your money. The safety features are exceptional and have saved me several times from getting in a collision. The fit and finish of an Infiniti is noticeable especially over time. The leather alone holds up much better than the Nissan counterparts. We currently have a 2014 Rogue, had a 2012 Rogue, 2010 Armada, and 2006 Murano, all fully loaded and although excellent vehicles, the leather and finishes show wear right away.
Hows the third row?
thanks for the info! I'm strongly considering this model...i own a 4runner and an acura TLX (recently wrecked after someone ran a red light and hit me)...now thinking about something mid-size with similar features and safety to my TLX (which i loved!).
I've looked at the land rover discovery (reviews weren't as good), the VW atlas, and the volvo xc60... The atlas might be a little heavier on the mpg than i care for and the volvo interior didn't really do it for me. Will have to go check this one out in the 2016 and 2017.
How's the CVT transmission?
Make sure you sit rear seats I don't think it will support the right extension
@CarGurus, how tall are you ?
6'5'' at least I would say!
New Subscriber. Awesome car review.
Does the 3rd row have more leg room for adults as compared to the MDX?
A lot more
Looks good
MDX is far better thanthe rest. SH AWD and a geared transmission. You can tow with it unlike the cat. Resale value murders the Infiniti. Steering feel and acceleration in the MDX is superior.
first I do agree the awd is better, but almost every reviewer said that the push button gear selector thingy is shit it takes for ever for it to go in gear and its clunky but I do like the idea of it, more space in the center console, but the qx60 and the mdx are post to be family friendly suvs the mdx is all about being sporty while the qx60 focus more on practicality and ease of use you can get in the third row with a child seat while the mdx cant and the infiniti has a better warranty and it can predict a crash two cars ahead the qx60 is clearly the winner
romel 4life if you are talking stricjly family friendly, I wouldn't but the Infiniti but the Nissan or Honda Pilot to be honest. If you want luxury family I'd go German. That's just my opinion. Acura would just be a better driver. No car, ect.
acura mdx system is very simple to use... you are exaggerating it too much. It looks much more modern inside than this QX60.
third row?
I just bought. 2017 QX60. Very roomy.
Overpriced! and why it has only 3.5L with only 295 hp? It should have at least 3.7L with 325 hp because it is a lot more heavier. Am I right or wrong? I just test drove one of these and every time you step on the gas pedal there is a delay and you can feel the vehicle is heavy. The only good with this vehicle is much better when taking it to a long drive.
@Y Marina do u had any problems with q50 i will buy one 2.0t
MDX way better . the best selling lux suv in USA
Call me in two years when your volvo drop down to 15k and worth as much as kia . And lets not forget its china made euro garbage .
mdx is all about being sporty but not good at being a everyday family car which is the purpose of these two cars the infiniti is ten times more family friendly and you can access the third row with a child seat in it and the qx60 is more safer than the mdx which obviously make it the winner but if you think the mdx is better that's fine I'm not going to force my opinion on tou
Best selling 3rd row SUV. The Lexus RX is the best selling SUV. Period.
Milko Vasilev I agree. they can't compare pathfinder with mdx. That's what this q60 is ive test drove both and felt insulted hearing this review
Overpriced
no way comparing this awkward looking vehicle with weird shaping that won't age well and with its cvt engine to an mdx only due to the info center. ive test drove both and the mdx is in a league of its own compared to this q60. my oppinion.
so the Q60 I'd the coupe of the Q50. What the hell is the QX60 a couple of? Great job on making no sense ifiniti. Wow a cat in a luxury car.Thought those were for hybrids
2017 INFINITI Overpriced Pathfinder
However, a used QX60 quickly becomes cheaper than a used pathfinder simply because of "luxury brand" depreciation. There are used 2017 models near fully loaded for 25k for sale. That's a great price for what you get.
Travis H you realize he commented that 3 years before you right?
does this have apple carplay?Yeah this isn't luxury
does a lexus have apple car play no just because this car don't have don't mean its not a luxury suv its still is a luxury car
romel 4life I don't consider Lexus luxury. It's German only
Blake Swan and English cars, I guess we call them affordable "luxury car"
my wifes Qx60 is more luxurious than my brothers ML350. and i drove GL450 its not even close to the luxury Qx80 and LX570 offers.
lol interesting to see you guys talking about "Germany" all the time. Germany has its old glory but it's barely the case in recent years. Lexus is far better than Mercedes or BMW as far as luxury goes, just test drive one of each brand and you'll see how Mercedes and BMW cut corners with hard touch plastics etc. here and there, which you'll hardly see in a Lexus. You'd be blind not to see the difference. And don't get me started with Audi, being a VW subsidiary and share platform with VW cars instantly gives Audi poor reliability and hilarious resale value.
Despite that Lexus is far more premium and has top reliability (because it's a Toyota brand obviously), these German brands are still selling their lower quality cars at a slightly higher price. I guess it's because there are many people willingly get ripped off and living in this German glory illusion.
I have QX60 2014 this SUV is not a good SUV don't buy this SUV.
John Leggett thanks for being honest
Why
But why ?
So don't buy the totally redesigned 2017 QX60...because you don't like your older model 2014 one? Your compelling argument has swayed me sir!
QX60 has the narrowest wheels ever. Terrible performance.
This thing looks like a potato 🥔
Qx 60 is a piece of shit drives rough and handling sucks also the worst suv I ever drove this review is lie they got paid drive it yourself and really look into it. It's a piece of shit .
Looks good
