Hey everyone, you’re going to notice in this video and a couple more videos to be uploaded that Sofyan’s Bell’s Palsy is still affecting the right side of his face. This was filmed a couple months ago when it was still dealing with it. Today, he’s made a full recovery. Thanks for watching as always!!
Everyone hates it for cvt. But as current owner, I like it because 1) comfortable and roomy for family with kids, 2) great safety tech, 3) handsome exterior and high quality interior (though dated), 3) huge discount off msrp (something like $15k off fully loaded is totally achievable), and 4) power and handling more than enough for daily use. If you are looking for a family hauler definitely consider this one. MDX is a good car but it's not as roomy and its interior just feels too cheap for me. Infotaiment-wise all I need is bluetooth streaming then everything can be controlled on smart phones. Nothing beats ios or android. And come on, get a sport sedan or coupe if you like driving. This car serves a very different purpose. If you worry about the longevity of cvt, just sell it before warranty expires or just lease it.
The interior of this car looks absolutely marvelous. And I'm shopping for a new car for myself and this is the first time I've seen the interior of this particular vehicle and I love it.
I love these reviews! I own this vehicle and love it. It feels more elegant than the mdx. Mdx is sportier but it just isnt as refined as the infiniti. And although the infotainment is dated on the infiniti, it gets the job done with ease.
I agree, the QX60 is better. My aunt has a QX60 and my neighbor has an MDX. The Infiniti is more roomy, better looking, the leather feels much nicer in the Infiniti.
Shamira Qureshi Yep.... we have a ‘14 with about 77k miles on it and absolutely love it. No issues at all and actually moved from an older RX350 and would do it again without question. Great family vehicle.
The Hall Pass one thing I don't like is the fact the infotainment system is pretty garbage... I bought a 2018 and it feels like it's from my car that I upgraded from (2006 Lincoln navigator with a pioneer infotainment) Other than that it is super quiet and comfortable for everyone in the family, every option except for tv in the back and pro sensory pack (auto safe stuff)
Thanks for another great review, guys. I just picked up a new car and your reviews have really opened my eyes on what to look for when shopping and what's the norm in different classes. Here's to many more years of a successful channel!
My one quip... "Most people don't even use DVD's anyways" that is not true. Statistically speaking most people still watch DVD home movies. And many still don't even own a BluRay player yet. As of Oct. 2017 Netflix DVD still had 4 million subscribers (compared to their 52 million streaming subscriptions). Additionally, I own one of these and I have 3 kids and let me tell you that theater system is a lifesaver! I just utilize a 64GB SanDisk Cruzer Fit flash drive plugged into it with dozens of movies on it for them to watch. It's super simple to just do that. I really love that they still give you the option to have a built in theater package.
I can't wait to see what they do with the next generation QX60. It will definitely be a lot better than the current one. Infiniti has one of the longest-running lineups that needs a major shake up with new models that are more fuel-efficient, better designed & don't just look like a rebadged Nissan with nicer materials on the inside, & have better connectivity technology like Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Nissan has it in their models now but Infiniti still doesn't. They really need to stop doing so much part sharing with Nissan if they're going to be charging so much more money for the fully-loaded QX60 versus a Pathfinder Platinum.
I used to be the BIGGEST Infiniti fanboy, but now they are at the bottom of my list. First was the introduction of this monstrosity (JX aka, QX60), next the naming change, after that was the killing of the FX (QX70), then the changing of the QX50 to a FWD platform, and now the switch to electric cars and no more RWD platforms for their vehicles. My Infiniti, how you have fallen. The CVT is always a complete no for me. If it has a CVT, I say HELLLLL NOOOO to buying it! Infiniti has sadly lost a family of Infiniti buyers. Despite all of that, you have made an excellent review Sofyan 😊😊 .
Am I the only one who’s slightly annoyed by saying “CVT Transmission?” It’s being redundant, because you’re essentially saying Continuously Variable Transmission Transmission
Yeah not sure what 5he CVT means but I have seen this vehicle in the transmission shop in wondering why hasn't the Buick enclave a comparison to the q 60
2019 Infiniti will be introducing Apple CarPlay and android auto to its intouch systems. 2021, Infiniti will introduce a whole new system. I’m sure it’ll be related to the 2019 Altima’s system which Is very good.
They are still very late in the game. They've been saying that they were working on Carplay since 2014, but guess what, according to a salesperson who went to an Infiniti top sales conference recently, they JUST kicked off the project a few months ago.
Maticalise Music Master I think this could even be cross shopped with a Mazda CX-9 Signature. Better looks in my opinion, premium interior with the real wood...just missing the V6, Apple car play that Mazda claims will come soon and the cooled front seats.
I have a 2018 Infiniti QX 60 premium and I’m planning to drive from Saray BC all the way to Chicago Illinois over in America with six of my friends house there and stay there for the rest of our lives
But even then, I would rather pay extra money for a Navigator if I want a long distance vehicle. Better interior, great 2nd and 3rd row room and very comfortable seats.
Sounds good! Can you make sure its the new turbo engine, and the TOP of the line trim. THE SIGNATURE package. If not its okay ill still watch it haha. Please and thank you
DIAMLER, I bought a 08, 11, & 13 Lexus Rx 350, by far I loved the 08 & 13 the best for luxury, speed, comfort, ride, quietness, and refinement. With my Family growing, I needed something larger. The only cars that fit comfort, space, usable 3rd row, and cargo space behind the 3rd row in an CUV, was Buick Enclave, Chev Traverse, and Infiniti QX60. After waiting for Lexus to come out with a 3rd row RX, I bought a JX35. I can get my Family, groceries, and music instruments in the car. My only regret is the CVT transmission doesn't accelerate the car the way I want, but if Lexus makes the RX even larger, I will trade in a heartbeat.
there are vents in the third row, infact you were looking straight at them when you said that. Pause at 11:47 you can see it in the lower left corner. They are both sides right above the cup holders. Pathfinder has them too for the third row.
I just bought the QX60 because its mission makes so much more sense than MDX's mission. Mdx has nearly a useless third row despite that my family and I are short.
Could you confirm the pathfinder's adaptive cruise control info? In your Pathfinder review, you stated it would stop and then turn off. Here you're saying it turns off at 20mph. Thx.
I'll hold out for the Lincoln Aviator. It seems like it will have a better drive train and better tech. The GM mid size SUVs are probably better as well.
I just traded my 17 rx350 for this qx. The rx had many issues, unpredictable shifts, engine hesitation, and with the dropped floor, really hard to exit. Much happier with the qx.
mikhail O I own a 2014 with 77k miles and so far it’s been great. Like any vehicle as long as you maintain your vehicle it should run for a very long time.
Its truly funny how a car reviewer will hate on a vehicle that they only had for a short period of time. My wife has a 2017 QX60 and I have a 2017 Q50 Red sport. We love both cars. The only thing we would ask for in addition would be Apple Car Play. But I am happy with the duel screens in my Q50 and my wife is happy with the 8inch (not the 7" entertainment Display you missed informed your viewers about). All in all both cars have been a delight to own. When the new models come out we will upgrade to them. No car or truck is perfect. It does NOT drive like a Pathfinder. I drove both vehicle back to back. Major different. I would recommend anybody looking at buying either vehicle to go and test drive for a day, and not just take his word. Go out and drive. I usually like his reviews, but this review is not great.
Honestly, I love my QX60 and considered getting another one once my lease was up in August. Unfortunately the simple fact that the infotainment system is so outdated and there is no apple or android CarPlay I will not be getting another one. I might Get out of the luxury segment altogether and just get a Chevy traverse seems to have all the amenities I want and excellent size for a great price. If I want to get a little more lux and still not break the bank I’ll look at the new Buick Enclave .
I sat in the 'all-new' 2019 QX50 at the NY Auto show. It's ashame how dated Infiniti products feel. Their prices are getting ridiculously high as well.
I work at Hertz and drive nissian and Infiniti products all day long and I agree with your points nissian haven’t updated a lot of their cars for along time I’m hoping that the new Altima will be the start of nissian updating both lineups
Yes, the platform is old, but it’s good. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. They would rather spend their money on something else more important than creating a brand new platform for this car. Simple....
Thank you the leg rm in the back row seat did it for me. My daughter is 5/8 at 13yrs old and with a toddler and infant twins i guess i better set my eyes on another family suv with more leg room.
The interior on the QX60 is much nicer than the Pathfinder. The wood feels genuinely solid and you'll realize how sturdy it is, once you tap it. This is a great interior minus the screen/infotainment
Most of the reviewers emphasize on good things about the item but he is mostly focusing on negatives. Overall it's a video telling people not to buy it also little bit depressing.
Yeah. I had the same feeling while watching this video. My only complaint about this Infiniti model is that it could be sportier in terms of engine and handling. All the other comments about it being "outdated", etc. are BS. I have driven recent German models and they lack way behind this Infiniti model in terms of technology. I must try the Acura MDX, though.
Almost 4yrs I now have a chance to buy this kind of luxury one 30k with 35k miles but final I returned Last week ( 5day return) when tested drive it was ok because I was not allowed to drive longer when drove home oh God it's terrible on this Infiniti qx60, interiors looks far away it's luxury but you look closer longer it's a suck cheap fake of luxurious, stop red light or turn right accelerate suck too start heavy padal but it didn't go fast, terrible fake luxury ever. I already bought mdx 2017 30k dollars with 27k miles and oh my God it's a terrible too God terrible is so good fast, real luxury acceleration is top, all identical, refined love it so much
Can we put the LED headlight debacle to bed?! They do NOT perform as well as HIDs... there are countless comparison tests proving this. LED headlights were primarily developed for hybrid and all electric vehicles due to their ultra low power consumption and provide marginally better lighting than halogen, but HID is still king especially when low consumption isn't a factor
Supertrooper697 we know, but he says he's surprised they didn't fit full LED headlights, as if to say the HIDs are sub-par, when in fact they're better
Hi, Thanks for the video reviews , will you be reviewing the New Subaru Ascent? We maybe interested in it when it gets released. What are your thoughts on SUBARU? THanks
bro which one do u suggest pathfinder r the qx60 becz i know pathfinder is cheaper then qx 60 but luxury wise qx 60 is better . so what do u think abt it. thks
Nissans quality is really lacking the last 5 years. Having owned a G37 and then a Q50 it actually got worse. On this car, the infotainment is really from 2007! I’ve been in base models that had the same system as my G37 had.
2019 will be a good year for cars. So many modern redesigns for the Jetta, the civic, the accord, the Camry, the Avalon, the altima. Theyre amazing. The only bad car this year is that damn ugly camaro

Terrible content
No one knows how to wear out a platform like Nissan.
Seriously. The Z has been on sale for 10 years and no significant updates or improvements and no word on a replacement.

Fun fact: the third row (when up) can recline, while you are sitting in the back, just pull the lever and push back. It is pretty nice

A reclining 3rd row seat. That's excellent. I've never heard of that before.
Just bought this tonight. Exact color. Can’t wait to get it in 2 days!!! Thanks!
Has it been reliable?
Yeah update?
I traded in an 18 rx350 for this car. It is more comfortable, rides smoother, better mileage, and more room.
That was a stupid trade!

Yeah not sure what 5he CVT means but I have seen this vehicle in the transmission shop in wondering why hasn't the Buick enclave a comparison to the q 60
Adam Douglas, I have always thought CVT meant Continuously Variable Timing, but perhaps you may be correct.
What should really bother you is that this qx, pathfinder etc have, by FAR, the worst transmission in the world.
Then people need to say “CV transmission”
Love these cars
Hey.. have you gotten your hands on the new 2019 RDX? Like outside of the auto show.

This is a good long distance machine. If you want a sporty car, get a Stinger.
Mike Morales Yes but that is a sedan so confused on the comparison.
People don't buy this for sportiness, it is to carry their family in a roomy vehicle that eats up the miles.
Mike Morales yes so I would assume people shopping this vehicle would consider other SUV’s, not sedans.

I hope you guys get to review the new Infiniti QX50 soon. I want to hear what Sofyan thinks about the new VC Turbo 4-cylinder engine in that vehicle.

I already bought mdx 2017 30k dollars with 27k miles and oh my God it's a terrible too God terrible is so good fast, real luxury acceleration is top, all identical, refined love it so much
Reading your comment just fried my brain. Your Grammer is god awful. Freaking chimp could speak and type better English than you.
Can we put the LED headlight debacle to bed?! They do NOT perform as well as HIDs... there are countless comparison tests proving this. LED headlights were primarily developed for hybrid and all electric vehicles due to their ultra low power consumption and provide marginally better lighting than halogen, but HID is still king especially when low consumption isn't a factor
damieg82 agree
This is proven with IIHS tests; they certainly have the brightness and even beam pattern, however, they don't go nearly as far as HIDs and xenons.
This car comes with HID headlights, just LED running lights and fog lamps.
Supertrooper697 we know, but he says he's surprised they didn't fit full LED headlights, as if to say the HIDs are sub-par, when in fact they're better
Great looking
I would get a car like that 💯 good ass suv
I'm thinking of buy a used 2018 Infiniti QX60.
Hi, Thanks for the video reviews , will you be reviewing the New Subaru Ascent? We maybe interested in it when it gets released. What are your thoughts on SUBARU?
THanks
When are you gonna do a Buick Enclave
bro which one do u suggest pathfinder r the qx60 becz i know pathfinder is cheaper then qx 60 but luxury wise qx 60 is better . so what do u think abt it. thks
I’d say neither. Both cars are trash. Get a Durango, Explorer or Aviator instead. They blow both vehicles away in every way.
I have this thats best car for me its so so good
I dont mind the mph and rpm gauges
I got a the Mazda CX-9 which blows this thing away in most categories for 15k less...
I never met anyone that wasn't broke driving a mazda lol
I'm defending HID headlights, they provide better light output then LED's. LED headlights are good but they need to get better.
The pathfinder redesign came out in 2013 after when the QX60 (JX) came out, so the pathfinder copied the infiniti.
Nissans quality is really lacking the last 5 years. Having owned a G37 and then a Q50 it actually got worse. On this car, the infotainment is really from 2007! I’ve been in base models that had the same system as my G37 had.
Good review keep it up
2019 will be a good year for cars. So many modern redesigns for the Jetta, the civic, the accord, the Camry, the Avalon, the altima. Theyre amazing. The only bad car this year is that damn ugly camaro
Waiting for an updated design for the vehicle. Very quiet ride, fully loaded is phenomenal but that transmission deters me from this vehicle.
I hope the qx60 gets the same engine in the q50
My dad has the 2016 model with the same trim and same paint job
This car does not look like a 2012 model
Especially the interior 🤨
Dream car
As of right now. This is the only Infiniti model sold that’s not imported from another continent.
9:05, I see Avalon on the key! Toyota Avalon review?
