@@arcticridge It's not a decision as much as a limitation, Black Mesa broke the functionality of the mirror entity. This is a work around.

Two FPS games featuring mirrors come to mind; Duke Nukem 3D and Blood. In both, the player can see himself as the main character (Duke and Caleb, respectively). If the developers could make this, in a mirror image of the player (Gordon, Barney, etc.) along with emotions, holding different weapons, et. al., that could really enhance the experience of the game.

Система отражения в Black Mesa нету, и делать придётся всё через костыли. В Garry's Mod'е есть отражение игрока. Когда портировали gm_construct 13 в Black Mesa вместо зеркала была маленькая камера. Да и вообще пропы не отражаются в зеркале.

мне кажется ,что врядли,хотелось бы но увы в халф лайф трудно реализовать тело игрока чтобы он было реалистичныым и даже в lost squad или half life 2 overcharged оно далеко от идеала нежели аддон immersive first person mod (garrys mod)

@@Andrewrayne ну, в оригинальной Black Mesa у игрока нету модельки, но её можно поставить командой. Я думаю тут можно сделать модельку по умолчанию

To me it looks like a manually mirrored scene. And if you observe carefully, many things in the mirror look different to what you see in the "real world". I guess it's a HECU easter egg for the teaser and won't be that way in the game ;-)

Not sure if they do, though it would be a little hard to get the Race X enemies into the game, because you cant add new enemies unless Crowbar Collective gives them the source code
