Does Super Cruise work with the Navigation destination?
For everyone saying “at this price point I’d just go Escalade”. Very big difference in repairs. Even though it’s the same part, if it doesn’t say Cadillac on it, she won’t work. Trust me, 2008 Escalade owner here

I wonder why Range Rover never offered totally customized versions of their vehicles with TVs, self-tinting windows, massaging seats, cocktail cabinets, etc...
I live in the US and have no interest in these old gas hogs. They are from a bygone era of cheap gas. Nobody but the wealthy will ever be able to afford these especially with soaring prices and inflation combined. The center console arm rest is from a truck that is over 11 years old! It is clever how they hide how old the design really is.
You are the only one who makes a short but sweet way of introducing this gigantic beast of the 2023 Yukon Denali ULTIMATE XL. No one has made an in-depth review of this car so far outside. I always watch your review more than I remember and suggest it to many people. I wish you could make a more extensive and complete review of the 2023 Yukon Denali ULTIMATE XL in the future. Mine is 10 days out I have been tracking the freight in real time! So excited...Had a 23' Denali XL , 3 weeks after getting it home a guy T-boned me and insurance totaled it out with only 1200 miles on it because the cam pin was beyond repair on the frame. THANK GOD FOR GAP INSURANCE because I was able to get my full price back and upgraded to the Ultimate with Duramax for almost what I Paid for the Denali XL
All I have to say is that GM did a Top notch job on these vehicles. I don't know how they are going to top themselves. These vehicles are absolutely beautiful. The Tahoe's are the same way. Absolutely gorgeous 🥰. Beautiful design inside and outside, love it, love it!!!! Thanks for the awesome video Brian!!!!

Today 98k, next month 80k, next year 70k, 2 yrs later 60k, 3yrs later 50k, 6 yrs later 35k. For 98k I'd get a Land cruiser all day. Anyone pays over 90k for an American SUV or trucks (except diesel) is a fool.

@@moemiller3468 Yea, GMC recently suspended Super Cruise due to chip shortage. They are giving a credit around $2,500. I was trying to find a Sierra Ultimate and that’s when I learned the bad news.

It's amazing to me how we just talk about spending $100k on a truck like it's $100. Most of our parents if you were born in the 70's/80's, spent that on a home. How times have changed & costs. I never thought I'd drop 70-100k on a truck, but I did on mine as well. Beautiful truck!

According to GMC Super Cruise will be an option available later, but not on first production vehicles. But I agree, at this price point it should be, without question.
There isn't no super cruise because of a chip shortage which is why you aren't paying for it.

We have a 21 Denali XL which is excellent. My wife was excited when the Ultimate was announced but honestly, I don’t think it gains enough to justify a trade. I do like massaging seats though 😒

Thanks for showing us this! If I had $100k to drop on this, I'd go buy it from Brian. And I totally agree that the only design flaw is not extending the Vader chrome to the side trim. Otherwise, beautiful.

@@georgedoolittle9015 I have no idea what you're trying to communicate. I do own a Suburban, manufactured in October 2001. We've put 375,000 miles on it and it still tows a 6,000lb boat. It was also expensive when new ($44k) but in terms of TCO, it's been the least-expensive vehicle we've ever owned (until Biden drove gas to $4).
No...there's more flaw than just a chrome trim. Can you say, "maintenance?" Lol. These Yukon I've seen, are NOT reliable in the last 30 years. I would rather buy something that will last.

You should look at GM's website. The interior color and wheel choices are almost nonexistent. If Government Motors wants $100 grand for this thing why can't we customize the interior a little bit more. And not everyone has four kids and a cat and dog. Why no 2-door version? They haven't made one in almost 11 years.
I would choose this magnificent beast over the Lincoln Navigator hands down!! This one really gives the Cadillac Escalade a run for it’s money when it comes to presence. Wow!

Yeah at this price point I’d just go on and get an Escalade. On another note, with the amount of people that de-chrome their Denali’s why hasn’t GMC offered a blacked out version? That’s yet another reason I’d opt for the Escalade as it’s available without chrome.
Denali has buttons, and Escalade is much more electronic. So you have to click through pages to get to what you want in it.
Definitely need black wheels on this vehicle! I'm planning on ordering a 2024 when I can and I'll be getting black wheels!

Absolutely beautiful SUV! Love everything about it! The XL is too big for me, I would go smaller! I would spend the money for it!

Love it except the wheels, way way way to busy. I think the side chrome should definitely match the front & rear chrome because it looks odd. Can’t really call this the ultimate since it’s lacking the super cruise because of the chip shortage
98k plus dealer mark-up. I’ve been looking for an AT4 and it is crazy how complicated are dealers these days plus the crazy mark-ups. Thank you for the video.
The hidden fees are annoying too… went with my dad to buy a new 2500 85k somehow ended up at 115k

The brown seats are a zonk for me as Raiti would say. I don't see what that brown has to do with the rest of the car. Those seats should be black and gray get rid of that brown

The function you talked about with the navigation from the back to the front was only a feature in the 2021. It wasn't available in any of the 22's, is it back in the 23's?
I currently have the Sierra Denali ultimate with the Duramax in comparison this is nicer however it looks like the reused more regular Denali bits on the interior compared to the sierra as the dash leather is the same forge leather that comes in the regular which looks out of place vs the sierra where it actually matches the rest, and the A and B pillar is not micro suede like in the sierra and the escalade, it sort of looks like they built it with scraps laying around out of the parts bin lol same goes on the exterior with both the sierra and the Yukon why could they not put the Vader chrome on all the exterior accents and badges, when spending the money they want for these trims attention to detail needs to be absolute, the other thing is dislike on the sierra vs the 21's is they removed the rear door unlock button but it is nice to see that the yukon still has it. they also should have put the same 22's that came with sierra denali ultimate as they look way better IMO
I have 2022 denali xl, got it for almost 100k dollars brand new, the car stopped starting and it had to be towed to the dealership four different times in less than six months, I drove it only about 10,000miles until now.. I absolutely love the car but it has been rough owning it so far

I just rented one for a week.. it is truly the best vehicle i have ever drove. it was like driving on a cloud mixed with bunny hair and cotton balls. Then i looked the price up and my dreams just got flushed down the toilet. totally amazing in every sense of the word.

Does it have Night Vision? 36 speaker option? Cooler option? Love the look. But an Escalade Sport for a few grand more likely has a better resale value in 5 years.

The Chevy Bolt has super cruise? No soft-close doors? No exhaust note variable?
Beautiful SUV but I'd stick with the regular Denali. For this price I'd look at the Escalade.
Ultimate comes with rear entertainment system, air ride, better looking seats etc. Try getting all that for the same price.

I have owned Escalades and Tahoes for several years for my business truck, trading every 3 years or so. Wanted to trade my current Tahoe for a Denali or another Escalade but due to GM's known valve train issues, I am having to look at other options for full size SUV. Every time I take my Tahoe in for service, the salesmen hit me up about trading (even though they have nothing on the lot), they want me to trade for something "in route" or just sell them my Tahoe. I have asked 4 salesmen, has GM resolved the valve train issue? They change the subject.
Yes, warranty covers it but I am not will to take the chance on being one of those people with a $90K SUV with a rebuilt engine after it blows at 1500 miles due to a known problem.
Me and both my parents recently went to pick up our 3 new fully loaded $105,085 2023 GMC Yukon Denali XL models and so far we really love them one thing I wished that they hadn't changed was the gauge cluster I world rather have a analog speedometer than a screen plus I like the look of the old analog gauges more also I would prefer the chrome grill and side accents plus we decided to nickname our new Yukon XL's the beast's after the US presidents limo.
can't you customize and change the look back to analog display in the settings?

Usually I find SUVs quite ugly and unnecessary (I live in Europe, many parts of our cities predate cars, here SUVs are just useless). However the look of this beast captured my heart and since I want a big family one day, maybe this car will make sense for me in the future.
Not the XL though
I will take a Rivian R1S. Double the horse power and more tech. Spend another $20k and get a Tesla X

Beautiful vehicle, for sure. Personally, I wish they replaced all the shiny chrome with the new, darker vader chrome. I love that vader chrome up front, and were I do get one of these I might pay after market to black out the remaining shiny chrome, though I'd keep the vader chrome as is. I love that this comes with the adjustable lumbar support and massaging front row seats. I wish it could come with the night vision capability, since that is great for various reasons, among them it is great in bad fog. I do like the brown leather, but I would still prefer if it could come with all black leather seats without the white beading as an option. This is the XL, and I would get the regular length not the XL, only because I don't need that extra footage, but for those who do need it, very nice for sure. Lastly, I do wish I could get thicker rubber sidewalls such as with an 18" or 20" wheel as an option, but that's just because I am in mountainy rough road ski country, but I must admit those 22"ers do look very nice, and I did hear you say how buttery smooth they drive, so I'd still get this if I had to get it with 22's. I might also add rain guards on the front and second row side windows, just because I think those look so good, add just a little something extra to the appearance. And I love the flat surface in the center infront of the center console on either side of the phone charger and cupholder space, a perfect place to put a laptop to help use the parked suv as a mobile office space, just slide the console back part way to give that extra space, and perfect, a more spacious level laptop space than even what's on the Denali AT4. All in all, a great suv!

Glad to see GM cleaning up- looks good. At the pricepoint I'd argue that you might as well just get an Escalade, but that's just a matter of taste (and stigma) I suppose.

For as nice as GMC makes their SUVs, I never understood why their seats are so uncomfortable. They are always so hard. Ford puts some cushion in theirs. Weird because GMC interior quality and looks are beautiful.
My 2021 Acadia has good seats but recently test drove the Yukon and yes I agree the seats were very cheap especially the rear ones.
@@haseebkhan6437 my buddy is a manager at GMC and he's always picking me up in the latest loaded GMC. Every one that I've been in the seats are so hard. What's crazy is they look so nice. The design. The stitching. Everything but comfort.

Beautiful truck, but GMC has kinda messed up, ultimate isn’t ultimate without super cruise. Right now this just another Yukon in a new interior color way. No new features nothing different. But like I said if u gone get the ultimate trim, it has to come with super cruise!
Yeah, if you could honestly convince yourself that the only difference between this and the Denali is 1 single semi-autonomous driving feature.

You missed showing us which and how many ports there are for the third row passengers and I would've loved to take a peek inside that center console. But great video! I love this truck, big GMC fan. I would definitely black out all the chrome. I wonder if there's a 23 inch option for the wheels and if it wouldn't just kill the ride quality.

I could have got this exact one a few weeks ago but I passed. The resale value of our 21 Tahoe wasn’t what I had hoped for. Wife wants the extended version. And honestly I think for that price I’d rather get an Escalade. And I’m not a fan of the rims on the ultimate, they’re ok but I think they should have done some chrome 22’s. Or let u upgrade the rims for say $400 instead of $3695 now!!!

A Navigator, Grand Wagoneer, or Escalade smokes this thing any day of the week, even in lower trims. Just buy one of those, you get waaay more for 100k.
