      He played with this line up also in 1995-96. However , they had a horn section on those gigs that, in my opinion, didn't lend it's self to the kind of creative space sculpturing going on here.

    it was the specific task from Sting to Vinnie to play live a "bit more" than sometimes the song asked for. But on Ten summoner 's tales for example Sting asked him to play different patterns without losing 'the feel' of the groove. anyway: Vinnie is - in any song- always a treat!! thnx for the upload!

    This was the sweet spot of Sting's solo career. Great to see Vinnie go to work on this. A masterclass in tasteful drumming ideas in there! I forget the timeline but this is the same band that did his Soul Cages tour and they were legendary. Thanks for uploading this I loved it.

    Creo que en el minuto 2:13 Sting le hace gestos a Vinnie para que baje la pegada.Creo que esta excesivamente arriba.Me convence más el planteamiento de Copeland.

    • @alfrednite6398
      @alfrednite6398 2 года назад

      me parece increíble que opines eso, ya que Copeland la partía al medio a la batería, le daba con ganas y creo sin miedo a equivocarme de que si comparamos 2 videos, Copeland le pega más fuerte, no que tiene más fuerza, sino que le pega más fuerte a la batería, en eso, Vinnie es 10 veces mejor baterista que Stewart, tiene todos los matices y te tocaba con Gustavo Cerati, con Manuel Wirtz, y con el genio de Sting

    • @francofernandez574
      @francofernandez574 2 года назад +1

      @@alfrednite6398 Vinnie es muy bueno, me gusta mucho. Pero Copeland tiene el merito de ser el original, el que puso su sello, y es cierto Copeland es una locomotora en Atlanta 1983, parece que va a romper la caja, y termina con unos sonidos de tom profundos increíbles y remata casi de manera imperceptible con unos toque al ride...genio y figura. Copeland por siempre!!!
