Don’t change a thing!! Your not to slow !! Actually I’m enjoying watching you guys/gals more then ever !! I love all the laughter and jokes !! Very enjoyable!!
If you come across any old cameras, I have details on virtually every camera ever made with values , don't hesitate to contact me for advice . Pay great attention as there are some worth millions of dollars. an example is a Leica II 1934 was sold at auction for around 2.5 million dollars, also a Leica 0 1923 sold for 2.4 million .
These are Blood Pressure monitors that use to hang in old Doctor offices. The black leather bags house each BP cuff and stethoscope. Now they wheel in BP and temperature more portable in Doctor offices and Emergency rooms. When I was in nursing this is the equipment I used to measure BP. The thing that goes on head Doctors used.
Love the Fireplace enjoying all of it. I had the Tasmania Devil cup sat on my desk at with tea for years. Damascus sold by Montgomery Wards in the late 1800's
Way back in the early 60’s my family had a florist shop and we sold Hull, McCoy and Hager pottery with floral arrangements or green gardens planted in them. Fun to see all of these things again. Also sold Anchor Hocking milk glass. Takes me back in time!
LOVE WADE'S MOTHER SHE'S A HOOT LOVE THE TRUE VALUE THEY ARE REALLY A COLLECTABLE YOUR MOM IS A REAL JOY I LOVE HER I WISHED I'D HAD A MOM LIKE HER WHAT A JOY SHE IS LOVE HER SCENE OF HUMMER LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for the Mr and Mrs Bailey's mugs. Must have those for my collection. I love your unboxings. Y'all always bring a smile to my face. ❤️❤️❤️
I enjoy watching your shows. You have really got a fantastic load this time. I think your Mom is sweet, your wife is pretty, your children are cute & I like you. If I had one, just one, complaint, it would be the laugh. I believe you have a nervous laugh, because you have found something so great. Just something to think about. I will continue to watch. So interesting what you are finding.
Maybe the copper pot was used to boil maple syrup down. Casserole dish that is inside the metal basket yes, a casserole dish has prepared whatever they serve in it and then they put it in the metal receptacle too keep it from burning the table or carrying it
I am LOVING these unboxing videos ❤️ I volunteer in a local charity shop in Paisley Scotland 🏴 and I love going through boxes and bags of bric a brac donations as it really is like a treasure hunt! I get so excited just like Grandma!! xxx
Germans are known for their sausages. They probably used it for loaf of bread as well. Pretty cool slicer! Brand is Star and it is a bench grinder to sharping knives. I used to collect McCoy Pottery cookie jars. These were made in the late 70's and into the 80's before they closed for good. They not super rare, but you have a whole collection set which makes it special for a collector. Hager #904 is probably from the 1950's, The basic color was green, I would agree it is a planter for house plants. Looks like a copper boiling pot. 1917 churn, to make cream or butter, yes. Milk from a cow. They are vintage wooden shoe stretcher to keep the shoes in place. Shoe stores or personal use. ladies but also mens shoes.
The Damascas sewing machine is pre-1920s. (A lot of smaller sewing machine companies sold out to Singer at that time. Most of them made good quality machines.) It's a treadle machine (pre-electric), so it will need a vintage treadle machine stand. Adding a sewing machine motor to it isn't too expensive, and then somebody could install it into a regular sewing table or case. It is beautiful.
Oh my goodness the first thing I see is the white and blue Corning coffee pot like that I used every day in my first apartment. Everyone I talk to about those remembers how great they were. I’m thinking it should sell quickly! Great score! And mixers? 😳🤦🏻♀️😂
Once again you have made my day a little brighter so many different things loved the cars and trucks which reminds me to ask what did you do with the two old cars that were in the unit I don't think I heard you say 🥰 from Australia see you tomorrow
Love everything so far! Too much to choose which is my favorite. So much I would love to have. I can't even imagine the family members not wanting everything. Only the 2 antique vehicle's. If their watching the unboxing no telling what their thinking and saying. I would of done everything in my power to keep what their parent's took pride in collecting item's they knew would be of value. It makes me wonder did the parents have it in mind to give it all for an inheritance. Who knows?
Alexandra Haeger Estes, great granddaughter of founder David Haeger, became president of the company in 1979. She announced on April 6, 2016 Haeger Potteries anticipated ceasing operations in May 2016, after 145 years in business.
42:06: They used to put a thin layer of tin on the inside of copper cooking pots, to prevent verdigris poisoning. They didn't do that on jam or candy cooking pots, because sugar gets so hot it would melt the tin. 48:22: Those are for people with bunions. You buy your shoes, but of course they don't fit your bunions. Shove the wooden form, with the white caps where your bunions are, in the wetted shoes, let it stand a while so they stretch, and hey presto, one pair of exactly fitting shoes. That's as far as my knowledge goes today, sorry I can't be of more help. Beautiful stuff tho!
I have an old spice cabinet/hoosier style tin cabinet that fits in the back of a wagon train cook's wagon for out on the trial when herding cattle to market back in the 1800's, 40:30 Yes, that is an old antique butter churn, similar to the glass ones that they made, but I think, older, plus it made more butter at one time. I have made butter by shaking it in a jar, but this way is much easier, especially if there are not alot of kids to hand the jar around too as it takes a long time. Worth about $100.
48:26 those wooden shoe devices are shoe stretchers, the handle cranks the screw which in turn widend the shoe just back from the toes. My parents (born in 1919) had 3 sets of them, and I still have and use them today.
Another video with lots of lovely items, so different to the usual things found in storage units. I can't tell what my favourite item is though the jewellery musical box is lovely and looks expensive. The metal cars would be very sought after I'm sure, and I dont think that's thick enough to be a waffle maker, something thin like a pancake (a crepe is another name for them). Some of the old mixers look very interesting, my Mum used to make everything with a bowl and spoon I didn't use a food mixer till the late 70's and Mum never had one and she made wonderful cakes. It nearly midnight here so goodnight and God bless you all love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
Sorry there were so many comments, but if I don’t do it when I see it, I forget by the end of the video. 🤣. This video was a surprise that I knew so much! I hope it’s helpful!
Damascus sewing machines were made in the late 1800s, around 1889-90 probably. The one you showed may be one that was designed to use a 'vibrating shuttle' often being decorated with gold highlights.
Your coffee maker is actually called the French press you put coffee grounds in the bottom fresh ones lol and then your hot water on it oh you pull that plunger on the top up and wait till it gets the strength you would like it which will be strong and then you push the plunger on top back down which keeps the coffee grounds down enjoy your coffee
At 42:50 that is a KrumKake iron. There should be a very heavy frame that it rests in while cooking the batter. I have one that is a little different. Also the notch in the casserole base is to keep the lid from getting stuck on the base as the casserole cools. Science explains it.
cute cars. my great aunt patrica owned a beautiful white convertable pontiac. she cryed when she had to sell it she was dying of bone marrow cancer. we helped take care of her i was in my late teens ,my mom did most of it but my sis and i helped till she passed away. she was a model for walgreens in chicago il.
Shaped like a silver bullet, produced in the 1950's by Oster. The model number is 202, it's an "airjet" dryer. It stands on it's own, and the dryer adjusts up and down. It measures about 8 inches high, about 8 inches long, and about 3 1/2 inches wide. It weighs under 3 pounds. worth 50 english pound

That's what people should be saying I think!Don't mean to upset anyone! Their living their best life and wonderful enough to share it with all of us! Thank you
Mark 55:00 is a reflector that Doctors worn on there forehead. It was before flash lights and head lamps came out. the Doctor pick up the lights reflection for a source, like a window and shined it on certain places on the patient so they could better see dark areas.
Your Hall Casserole in the holder had bakelite handles which adds value. Your Wagner Waffle or Krumkake maker is very rare and fits the cast iron holder you pulled out earlier. It is a very rare model and the last one on ebay sold for $50 in 2014.

Love the trucks!! They are collectible and they sell! Anywhere from $12 - 175 on a quick search.

Pretty certain it's a butter churn. The little opening at the back would be to let the remaining liquid out once the butter is solid.
Once again you have made my day a little brighter so many different things loved the cars and trucks which reminds me to ask what did you do with the two old cars that were in the unit I don't think I heard you say 🥰 from Australia see you tomorrow

It's a copper-clad pot. Also, the child-shoe is an insert to stretch the shoe for a bunion. I hope you read these very late comments from Oregon.

What are you doing with the 2 cars in the unit?
The little glass ladle is for compote it goes with pink boat.
The small bottle with the screw on top is a cruet, it is used for salad dressings or vinegar and oil.

I have those Bailey's cups, my daughter found them at a goodwill store and paid 3 bucks for the pair.
