Be careful going to s stamp person; my mom had a man come to the house and he bought some but after he left, my Mom found he had stolen some of her stamps.
You do get the best best storages and I love it when your mom is with you and 66 and I just enjoyed this cause all my life. My mother was a yard sale person. Thank you for sharing. I also miss Ashley. She makes my day.❤
For Grandma V. Still enjoying the beautiful items we bought from your Poshmark store. But I have a favor. Could you please give Wade a poke in the nose with love of course. He said no one cares about books. Thank you for saying you do. As a retired teacher I realize the younger generation does not care as much. Not their fault. They were raised on computers. But nothing beats the smell of an old library and that wonderful book smell. Yes showing my age. And my nerd side but proud to be. Catching up on videos. I had a heart attack and have been in hospital for a month. Back to normal ( like I ever was 😁) and will celebrate my 64 th on Thursday. God bless ❤️ from Julie So Calif.
Hope you are feel better soon. I asked a young adult if today's teachers truly teach anything. Their reply was that the computer teaches them everything. That truly saddens me. I'm 9 years older than you and still have great memories of many of the lessons I learned from truly dedicated teachers. There's nothing like a book and cursive.
What an awesome unit! I would love to have those Pioneers. I had a set about 30 years ago and they were the best sounding speaker I ever had. Lots of base which I love, and nice crisp highs.
I was going to tell him that. I'm glad I'm not the only one that knows what they are. It makes the photos look kind of 3d if I'm remembering correctly.
Wade, those pics you first took out of the box at 1:09:22 go into the brass binocular viewer to give a 3D effect of the pictures. You will note that the two pics on each card are slightly different to each other. Richard from Down Unda
The mirror goes to the dresser the paintings were in. The raised carnation picture is art deco. Some really cool items in this unit. The dresser and side board could be almost 100 years old - true antique.
I loved the video Wade and Grandma, what a great unit and I love the pyrex, the yellow bowls are gorgeous. The table is in wonderful condition, I love solid wood furniture and have some myself though the cottage isn't large we have a lovely table and matching chairs which are kept covered to preserve them. I have mainly pottery bowls and oven dishes, many years ago I saw someone who had a bad cut when a pyrex bowl exploded so gave mine away, I've always been on the clumsy side lol, I can still trip on fresh air as my late Mum used to say bless her. Nearly time for my next lot of meds so cheerio for now my friends, good luck to you all God bless you, love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
I’m one of those seasoned stamp people. In the glimpses that you showed, a lot of the US stamps are worth face value. You did have some interesting souvenir sheets and some older stamps that would have some value. The foreign stamps were common beginner type stamps.
Hi Grandma V and Wade. Awesome Unit. Soon as I saw the newspaper of lindenberg I thought of his poor baby. So sad. My oldest brother's first stereo was a Pioneer it was the best one according to him.
It's so good to see you guys. All the beautiful old furniture. Have fun grandma Ventures. You get so excited..stay well all. Happy Birthday to your son,
Hello, I looked up Reed and Barton Coffee/Tea set in silver....price $1950 to $10,000. Wow you hit a treasure!! Enjoying your channel as a new subscriber. Thank you. Sincerely, Debbie and Dexter-Dog 🐕🐾 my sweet tiny rescued Chihuahua 🐶 companion living a quiet crafty life 🏠 in southern California 🏄🌄🌴🙋🐕🐾🦴🐝💌🥑🍔👍👍
The small Pyrex dishes came in sets of 2 small squarish dishes and one rectangle. The two small ones will fit side by side inside the rectangle one. Each came with it's own lid. I used mine all of the time to store food in the fridge or to microwave in. Loved them!
I want you to have help loading your truck. I think the covered piece is a credenza, rather than a buffet or a large China cabinet. the furniture is gorgeous 😍
Great Locker. Great Finds. The group of men were probably from a Croat society out of Chicago, Illinois I looked up the translation and it said "Bog i Hrvati (God and the Croats) - This motto originates from Ante Starčević's speech to the Croatian Parliament (Sabor) on June 26, 1861, in which he stated that the future of Croatia should not be decided in Austria, but by God and the Croats.. That big table and chairs reminded me of the one in my family from my childhood days all the way up to my adulthood.
I love the painting of flowers and the first one you showed us. I just can't imagine how sad the renters must be if they are still alive Do you ever contact the renters
1:08: Those double pictures go in a stereoscope (you found one at 01:10 actually). It's an old technique to give you the illusion of 3D. 01:11: Not an eggbeater, but a hand drill. You definitely need more batteries, but I'm glad to see you discovered knives 😜
Little 👠~ Alabama My late husband gained his wings in 1989. Could you give me a price on the canisters they would really be special to me.? I also collect pitchers. 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸
The furniture is beautiful ya'll. Stamp collections dream. I would like some vintage ones. I would love to see a more extensive video on the stamps. Wow on the Newspaper. Omg the matching Silver Pieces I'm in love with. The Record player is a dream. Ok me and grandma Venture are twins I love ❤️ everything so far one the Vases at the moment so far those are gorgeous I agree grandma V. Books are fabulous especially Civil War Era. Ineed a couple vintage books. Moonshine Jug....lol. love this unit.
Such beautiful furniture. Back in those days was how I wish furniture was still made today. I love refinishing old pieces like that. I love the wagon, but I would have to say the dining table and chest are my favorite.
I am so very happy I ran across your channel. This was such an exciting unit. Seeing things I have never seen. Your both did a perfect job of showing us what you opened and made it fun. I subscribed and will be checking out more videos from the past also. I did a thumbs up too.
😄👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏 10:51ish the green and gold vase in the middle. Reminds me of one you found a couple episodes ago. 39:40ish maybe the house sat vacant for awhile. Before it was packed up. Or the owners had extended illness or loss of vision. It doesn't look like a lifetime of dust on the nik-nacs.
Hi Wade ...some good model pioneer speakers ..I just take the speakers out and sell them on eBay and just discard the cabinets.Nice locker ..congrats..😎
Hi from Australia, I enjoy watching your videos. I love books as well as the fragile boxes please show us more of the books. I would like to know about the stamps and if any were special? Great unit.
The photo album.... 15:40 time line. Is it Genoa NV? I think I recognize some of those buildings in the photos? Genoa is one of the oldest towns in NV. It's near Carson City. Just a neat lil' town.
Wow! What a Pyrex haul!!! So awesome. The ones that were faded in color had gone through the dishwasher. That’s a no-no. Also, I don’t think those old ones that are different colors can go in the microwave. Just fyi :) Amazing find! By the way, you’re mom is great!
Your mother is so patient and cheerful all the time. She makes watching fun and the time goes fast. Can definitely tell two different generations wrapped different boxes. I have a story about this family. I wonder why families don't just sell. After seeing so many relatives, belongings have been sold, stolen broken or lost, unless family wants specific items,we now sell everything . Younger generations rarely want vintage or antiques unless they have been taught the value or respect for older relatives belongings Different people wrapped these items.. Absolutely wonderful unit ❤️
Another amazing locker/ storage unit!! The furniture is in great shape. All the Pyrex!! Fantastic finds!! In the mid 1800 the military did tin type photo. Have u ever found that type of photos. Fully enjoyed watching you & grandma Ventures open this storage unit. I laughed out loud when that tool looked like an egg beater!!😂🤪😂🤪😂🤪
Hello love your channel and all three of you guy's. Did you know the the four Pyrex bowls the big yellow, red, green and blue ones. when they first came out for sale all 4 bowls sold for $2.50
Wow about the picture slides. They usually have personal pictures in them. My family used them quite a bit when I was younger with a special Kodak Camera.
Burslem is one of the 6 towns which made up the Staffordshire "potteries" . Home of Royal Doulton, Royal Crown Derby etc. The potteries are ñow almost gone. Production was getting to be too expensive. People don't really want the old fashioned fine bone china anymore. The designers didn't really move with the times and business slowed dramatically. New designs started to appear from around 2010 but I fear it was too late to save the business of the production of dinnerware etc. Hand painting was replaced by transfers, many years ago, which were positioned by hand prior to firing. The majority of Royal Doulton is now produced in Indonesia but some higher end items are still made in Staffordshire. There were many talented painters who were employed in the potteries but I don't know how many there are now.
my grandpa came here from Cecily italy I 189? and became a citizen in 1905 his name was Thomas Messina I never got to meet him well he was deceased when i was born .in 1958 so yes I'm 1/4 Italian...and proud of it ....
The small open bowl in the Reed and Barton silver tea service is called a waste bowl. Heavier tea services are probably sterling silver and lighter weight sets are probably silverplate.
Love all that pyrex but sad to see the dish washer damage. Usually when they are faded like that its because they were washed in a dishwasher. Wash pyrex by hand , it saves the design.
Wade, yes those colored pyrex dishes with the faded colors or blotchy colors unfortunately are what collectors call damaged or flawed because the owner ran them through the dishwasher. Because of that it diminishes/devalues the price. Collectors want ONLY non-scratched, less utensil marks and the color to be close to being perfect to warrant high dollar values. Condition IS everything. Then the pattern is next.
Hi, Denise. You crack me up. Love ya My question is where is the rest of the house. Dude you folded the page of stamps when you closed it! And...you were making me dizzy.

Go into any book store and you will likely find a thriving business! People still buy books!
Hope you are feel better soon. I asked a young adult if today's teachers truly teach anything. Their reply was that the computer teaches them everything. That truly saddens me. Wades mother is a lovely person with a great sense of humor. 😊
Did she help him lift that table? Hope not.
What an awesome unit! I would love to have those Pioneers. I had a set about 30 years ago and they were the best sounding speaker I ever had. Lots of base which I love, and nice crisp highs.
The photo cards are what goes with the brass stereoscope that you thought was for slides Wade
You are correct. That is exactly what that is.
I was going to tell him that. I'm glad I'm not the only one that knows what they are. It makes the photos look kind of 3d if I'm remembering correctly.
We had a stereoscope with the pictures to go with it , the double sided pictures go with it
Wade, those pics you first took out of the box at 1:09:22 go into the brass binocular viewer to give a 3D effect of the pictures. You will note that the two pics on each card are slightly different to each other.

Hi Kathy, so glad you told him what it was, I was just about to. I was worried it would go to auction separately.
Love the way u two do these videos

I’m curious do you ever take items you find in storage to The Antique Road Show? That would be fun.

Love the furniture and pictures, thank you for showing us.
Do you check behind the backing on the pictures as old stories have it that valuable papers sometimes were stored between pictures and backings?
Hi from Australia, I enjoy watching your videos. I love books as well as the fragile boxes please show us more of the books.

Table is a gem those are leafs under as you pull the table at center you lift the leaf out and connect the table together
The clear thing grandma called an old glass bowl it’s probably a light fixture cover
Hi, Denise. You crack me up. Love ya My question is where is the rest of the house. Dude you folded the page of stamps when you closed it! And...you were making me dizzy.

Lovely furniture, the old plate with Burslam, is the town where the Wedgewood pottery began in England.
U can take the stamps to the stamp society here in Oregon thats where we took a bunch of books of them
