Wade I think you’re so sweet hun! BUT if I was poor Ashley listening to you say “BRAND NEW” over &over& Over &&& you wouldn’t be here to say it again!!!!!! 😂 love you but jeez
I became homeless/unemployed within a few weeks of the Pandemic beginning. Yes, me and a lot of other people. the stuff I put in storage was only the very core things I refused to part with, I gave away everything that wasn't worth the storage. Because I watched these videos, and have a touch of OCD, I reluctantly separated everything in stacks. Personal papers, belongings, things of value. No garbage, no unsellable junk. Gods Bless, I found a sofa then a job, then an apartment, and rescued my stuff! Happy ending, this time. It might have been rather an adventure, had I been 21, but at 62 it was a lousy time to start sleeping on the ground. People that store garbage and trash in a paid storage unit are inexplicably simple. I can't imagine having that much cash to WASTE. I would hope that all you find is good stuff! I always enjoy the sport of the treasure hunt! I remain a lover of thrift stores/yard sales. I love to see the older and slightly more...unique? items you find! Sometimes, brand new is way over rated. Thanks for sharing your adventures! Love it!
I know this is an old one,but similar theme of brand new stuff. I've known this type of hoarder, shopaholic. They end up with homes jammed with new things, storage units they hide from loved ones. Insane amounts of debt are due to this type of hoard! Great find.
I have met several people who purchase anything and everything in search for gold and silver.. I had a couple of hand fulls of silver, my old jewelry from the 70s and I was out of food for my kids... But what was 2 overflowing handfuls of .925 silver? Was only worth 15 dollars... maybe less.. So I just kept it.. I had some old pieces of broken 14k gold.. and even that was not worth much... I went to a jeweler who had a shop for years... but again, he offered me less than the first place did for the silver.. I just kept everything.. But PLEASE know that if you go to pawn or sell a diamond? Take it out of the setting first.. Otherwise, the buyer is going to tell you that the diamond has "an inclusion" that will break the diamond soon?? Or the diamond is not worth anything.. Strange that I had 3 diamond rings that both had "inclusions" under a setting prong... So if any jeweler tells you that?? Pick up your stuff and get out of there!! It's a scam... I have no real idea what these people are going to do with everything they are "going to resale?" But it's interesting to watch.. Reminds me of the OCD patients who were admitted to the State Psychiatric Hospital for observation and meds...Counseling was done on the shift before mine? I have no idea what the counseling was about because it just didn't help him... he kept stealing from the other patients in the Forensic Center where I was a Charge RN on swingshift... I just don't really care for him trying to show price tags or other things that show it was bought new... Honestly, who cares if you buy something new from a forgotten storage locker?? Prices should be a lot lower than the "regular " price... But like I said? I still watch because I am still can't believe the crap that people put in storage lockers... His criteria for what people want, and it's normally not "sealed" and new items... People are looking for a good deal, money wise....
Sorry to hear such a sad story. Unfortunately there are far too many people sometimes that need a little help at times. I am glad that Wade, Ashley and Gramma are rescuing these items instead of the storage facility just throwing those items out. Wade makes an honest living at what he does, Ashley ad Gramma and Holden. They do so much to the community by giving back and donating them to organizations that need to give to the poor. I again am sorry for your loss of items but I am happy that you too are on your feet once again. God Bless You in your continued endeavors!
Ashley, the clear blocks that Wade pulled out of yet another crafting box are acrylic blocks that clear unmounted decorative stamps stick to for stamping designs on paper. The blocks make it easier to press the stamp onto the paper and the clear soft plastic stamp sticks easily to the acrylic blocks. More traditionally rubber stamps are mounted on wood, but clear stamps have become more popular (and cheaper than wood) in the last 20 years or so.
Wonderful and delightful. Still wondering about the two barrels. I had to pause so I could go grocery shopping but came right back to you as soon as I put stuff away. The gifts keep coming!
From what I've learned, they never put real Diamonds in silver. Because silver is a soft metal and the stones would fall out. It may not be a real diamond but it can still be a precious gemstone.
You are right.. I have found that white/clear zircon is used to replace diamonds.. Alexandrite is rare so a lot of those stones are man made.. I think it's the birthstone of June, but I found this out when I wanted to get my Mom a ,"Mother's Ring"... Craft stores are really cool, but "crap stores" probably aren't... sometimes I think that he's talking so fast that he accidentally slurs his words... But I still watch because I like how he interacts with his Mom... His wife, not so much.... I joined their group of watchers that contribute to their cause... Despite everything?? If things can be used by someone else?? I am all for thst!! Peace~~~
Love the videos. The whole family. Although Wade makes me crazy sometimes. He's so hung up on brand names and things made in certain countries. But he works so hard. I'm able to forget his ignorance at times The large glass tube with colorful balls floating. It's called a Galileo thermometer. It measures temp in room.
I live in MA so what time is the sales in Eastern time? I don’t want to miss it. 2 or 5 pm? Ashley, thank you for all the work you put into these videos, too. Your woman’s touch of returning the items back in the containers is greatly appreciated.
New watcher and subscriber here! Have been binge watching half of today! Watched both of this storage unit videos, now watching the one with the Coach purses and the jewelry, etc. Your mom is adorable!! Hope you gave her the Coach purse she loved!!!
Im thinking off grid prep unit. Retiring. Planning on low cost living. Ways to fill the days sewing, crafts and photography. Need some solar panels but maybe they werent around back then.
I feel like this is the catch- all store from a small town store on the town square. A little of everything & lots of craft things to keep people busy.
I love watching you! But I feel I need to tell you my mother sold Tupperware and that's a name brand. Not all the resealable dishes are Tupperware. I would take care to call things by their name like Rubbermaid or Ziplock. I only mention it as if you say you are selling Tupperware, and you don't have real Tupperware, you could be accused of fraud. I can't believe all the new stuff in this unit! Score!!
That carved crystal at 1:03:31 in the video, there is a black square stand with a switch in the box just below your left hand Wade. It's a lighted base to place the crystal on. Some change color, some are just a white light.
Honestly, you really can tell factory sealed items...would save you time. This locker is giving me greys....but I AM still watching. Love your excitement for the most rando things. Thanks for this.
I can understand buying a storage unit when its been abandoned for years but what you can clearly identify the family to return personal items don't you feel just a little obligated to give some of these things to them.
A lot of the paper craft items you found at 23:13 in the gray tote are for card making and other crafts when using paper card stock and ephemera, adhesives and glue . Not all of it is for scrapbooking. I think this locker was owner by a grandma who shopped year round for Christmas gifts. @36:20 the clear blocks are used for clear/polymer stamps, like you found in one of the very first scrapbook boxes. @ 48:49 you have a serger. Not a standard sewing machine. It is used to overcast a seam so the fabric doesn't unravel.
That was a crochet hook 4 the yarn n the yarn u got was not cheap they r sometimes $6 n $7 a piece---the baby yarn is like $5 i know because i knit n crochet
Please all the coins that you have found please return to the family these coins could be great Grandad's and onwards this is so sad my dad had coins from his generations we never ever see again and one of them was my son's Queen Jubilee coin this coin was given to my son when he was born he is now 41 years old
Full price sewing patterns are often on sale for half price or very reduced prices at the big chain stores and most people (me✋) don't pay the full price listed on the envelope.
Would make a big difference if you didn't know exactly what your measurements are when you try to find a sewing pattern... I used to make all of my work clothes.. As much as possible... And the sizes were generally always the sarme... but not always.. These days, my size in patterns ranges from a Medium to a size 18... It is really irritating that the companies that sell patterns in stores or whatever, are all based on weird, foreign country pattern sizes... Just my own problem I guess??
Ok so you guys are showing some really great craft items. Where is the place you are selling this stuff? I looked on gramma ventures and your and Ashley’s ventures but don’t see these items listed.
This reminds me of when we inherted my aunts storage lockers she was such a shop aholic that everything in all 3 units was brand new and she bought every thing even a horse saddle which struck us as odd
Love this video to many things I love just asking does whatnot work for Australia and how much money have you found so far and what was the name of you dogs again I have forgotten and I was telling my friend
Dear Wade.... lovely unit...Congratulations... I live in India... Could u please tell me the price of the colouring books u found in this unit and the plastic boxes with smaller boxes inside...like jewellery boxes... I would like to buy them if possible....
@Wades Venture The baseball pictures are Royals looks like maybe the late 80s? It's George Brett (3rd base) and Bo Jackson (The ONLY professional player to be All-Star for both baseball and football) played for the KC Royals (LF) 1986-1990 and Raiders (running back)
46 mins - that old jug looks like an antique Wemyss (pronounced Weems) piece from Scotland. Could be worth a pretty penny. The late Queen Mother collected Wemyss ware. Would be worth getting an expert to check it out.
You can donate the glasses to the Lions Club. They in turn they refurb them & give them to people who can’t afford to buy glasses. Tax deduction for you & glasses for someone in need. Win Win
Remember to not get confused between Rubbermade and Tupperware. Two very different things. Rubbermaid is not worth much at all and is really cheeply made. Tupperware is vintage and very well made. Initially it came with a lifetime guarantee. Some pieces of Tupperware can sell for good money.

My heart goes out to you and everyone, who has to store their belongings and then lose everything. So sad!!

Yes. Brand new is of no interest to me. I prefer the unique items.
I collect the little shoes

I bet your 2 boys have gotten big since I had last seen them. A very clean Hoarder! Be kind to one another. Stay safe. Love to all

Live your videos!
I miss "Grandma" when she's not with you.
She is adorable!

For some one that buys and sells stuff from storage units , you would think he would know more the stuff he buys!
We love you Wade hope you have the best year ever!

Hope the whole year of 2023 will be so successful. Like your videos . We miss Grandma. Good blessings for you family for 2023.
Being a crafter myself, there was tons of money spent on that stuff. It’s not cheap.
You made bank on this unit what a way to start 2023. These people loved to shop n collect.. I really hope you sell the stuff for reasonable prices
You are so fortunate - I love seeing all the treasures you are finding!
Honestly, you really can tell factory sealed items...would save you time.
This locker is giving me greys....but I AM still watching. Love your excitement for the most rando things. Thanks for this.
I would love to know the story behind all this stuff.
Me too 👍
Me too, I sadly think it's probably someone who passed away.
Lot of stuff! Cool! Looks like compulsive buying and hiding.
Love the scrapbooking stuff.
I love it when you all buy a great locker. Hope you make lots of money
Hey lady, Bless your hart fou putting up with him. WOW!
Happy New Year! Wow what a fantastic unit to start the year!

Hey, Happy New Year to you...the old carlenters, you can use the pics on them for scrap booking. They have some cool pics on the older ones...❤
I just recently subscribed to your channel, you make it so fun unboxing! Love your videos! 😘
I bet the owner was a shopaholic and stored her stuff there so she wouldnt get in trouble at home.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. It does look like it.
Great video! Love the Ramen pants!

Mac (MMC) sent me over, love your technique! It is always a bit harder when you're doin someone else's stuff! Thanks for sharing! Ang in WA state
The locker that took two years to unload!!!!!😂😂😂😂
No kidding!
Strong evidence of compulsive behavior. Reminds me of a few of my old clients in guardianship cases.
Play it in time and a half, it's less torturing.
Its Rubbermade , not Tupperware. Big difference!
Love the tea tray and tea service

Every container is not Tupperware. Laugh every time you see a food container and you say oh Tupperware.
So many people do that!
You didn't open the barrels. Can't wait for the whatnot auction.
that 85 mm canon lens on the end is new 500 dollar, the 75-300 mm about 250 dollar!

Yes! And we have a picture of it with my grandma and kids.
Focus. Better 🌷
Remember to not get confused between Rubbermade and Tupperware. Two very different things. Rubbermaid is not worth much at all and is really cheeply made. Tupperware is vintage and very well made. Initially it came with a lifetime guarantee. Some pieces of Tupperware can sell for good money.
i thought you were going to do some boxes and go to the tall canisters tubs
There is a difference in TUPPERWARE and RUBBERMADE.....
Love the Noodle Pants!!!
Being from Texas, all the items from Texas were bought because of the great Texas Pride.
How come you go through everything and she has to put everything up
Hello wades venture. New subscriber. I love the new bible that you found.
Will there be a part 3?
I’m a new subscriber Happy New Year that’s a amazing locker I love the pants
NASCAR number 3 is Dale Sr. Number 8 is Dale Jr.
At 46:59...the teapot looks like 1980’s Corelle....”Blue Velvet Roses”
I’m so happy your on whatnot
Shotgun shells are for a 410 gage ..mostly a youth shotgun.
Not a sewing machine but a Serger or Overlocker. Similar but not the same.
Wow i would have past out getting all those scrapbooking stuff❤❤❤
So when you buy an auction unit you know who the owners are.So they didn't pay their rental fees .
Are they given an opportunity to buy back from you?
Whoever owned this was either a hoarder or owned a store. I like to know what happened to the owner and why they stopped paying on the storage.
Is there any markings on the rocking chair? If it’s a true Arts and Crafts chair it could be worth quite a bit!
Thank god your here I'm soooooo bored lol
Things have to be over hundred years old to be considered Antique great storage locker you got.
Actually.....it’s 50 years to be considered an ANTIQUE.
The bullets looked like a 410. Bullets usually on the brass part should say the gage of shell it is.
Hmmm, Just found your channel so lots to catch up.
SO.... What happened to the promise of opening the barrels?
