When i 13 twenty years ago, my mom had recently passed away, dad was depressed and eventually ended getting evicted and everything we Owned ended up in a storage unit that dad soon after couldn't keep paying and lost the unit. How i hoped and prayed that either the storage company or buyer wouldn't throw them away and instead make the effort to return them to us... The only picture I have now of my mother is one used at her wake of her younger years, i wanted some of the face i knew and loved. Thank you Wade for returning those memories to the family.

I'm a new subscriber...enjoy watching your surprises. I am a long-time military spouse...please be careful when you happen upon anything related to old military. Thank you.

Wade, the trumpet and case you found in this unit, is from King Instrument Co. One of the top musical instrument companies. When it says silver, they mean real silver. The fancy lettering is hand engraved. They are highly collected and very expensive. Many famous musicians use king instruments.

The market for a vintage and antique Asian art is phenomenal. You should really put it up for auction through a good auction house with international coverage. I do not think you realize how valuable some of the stuff you have. Well done.

Hello Wade and Ashley! Those crab bowls may be from Hawaii. I know someone who had a set (one large one, 4 small ones and a spoon and fork). There was also a letter on the front (a B) which was the family name initial. Check that box for the fork! As usual, you bought a great storage unit! And not one Brand New! Yet... I love you guys!

Wade, Ashley. Love your videos! There’s a lot of nomenclature errors you make, such as calling a handmade quilt a blanket. The Air Force uniforms belonged to a career veteran whose service years go back to WW2 , when the Air Force was still part of the Army. Very touching unboxing. My Dad and Father-in-law were both career military, you brought back a lot of memories. Good job

I threw away so many Santa's. My grandparents bought this house in 1971. My grandma collected everything. She collected Santa's and Christmas stuff. My grandma passed away last year and my aunt told me to throw away a lot of stuff. Including a ton of Santa's and old clothes. Then I start watching storage videos and I'm finding out that apparently a lot of stuff I've thrown away, I could have sold.
I have thrown away a ton of fabric too. My grandma did a lot of sewing. She also made porcelain dolls and knickknacks. Crocheted, knitted, made jewelry, painted. You name it, she could do it.
She lived in this house for 50 years and was a hoarder. You can't even imagine how much stuff I have thrown away. Or packed up and pulled out onto the porch and is probably ruined because it has actually rained this year.

I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and it’s very entertaining thank you and your wife . I am a musical instrument repair technician . The trumpet is a King made by the HN White Company in Cleveland Ohio. From what I could see it looks like it has scratches and small dents around the bell area. The repair of it would be a couple hundred because it needs to be completely Service and cleaned. It is probably worth 400-500. It’s good to have the original case. The other item was a cup mute by the humes and berg co made in US as well.
