    Could you please make a video about how to structure a korean sentence? 감사합니다 ~

    • @tricok577
      @tricok577 5 лет назад +57

      Roni Youkhana I think she said it already in one of her videos~ If I remember correctly it was a video named ‘10 things you need to remember before you start learning korean’ or something like that~
      But if you want her to make video specialized just for then the okay ^^
      Korean uses sentence structure subject-object-verb unlike English that uses s-v-o (subject-verb-object) so if you try to make sentence in Korean you have to say it like this: I(는 pointing that ‘I’ is a subject) - Korean(를 telling that ‘Korean’ is object) - speak.
      I(는)-Korean(를)-speak.
      저는 한국어를 말합니다. (I hope that I conjugated 말하다 (speak) correctly :D)
      I hope that I helped ^^
      And sorry for the long comment xD

    • @solig.651
      @solig.651 5 лет назад +25

      First: 는/은 are NOT a subject marker (althought is normally attached to it) but a theme particle so you may see it attached to other complements. 가/이 are subject markers.
      And as the previous comment said:
      Subject (lots of times is omitted) - Object- Verb
      -Also other complements such as place and time go after the subject and before the object, in the middle. But sometimes time complements can go before subject (normally if they are adverbs such as 오늘).
      -Clauses(if), explanations (like "because), etc, go before the main sentence. Eg:
      - 케이팝을 좋아하기 때문에 한국어를 공부합니다. (I) study korean because I like Kpop.
      Hope it helped!

      She did say it in a previous vid. For the most part, I believe, it’s Subject - Object - Verb. Or just Subject - Verb

    for me it's always been logical cause it's hard to pronounce 입니다 as ib-ni-da fast so saying im-ni-da has been natural for me.
    also with other badchims. but that's maybe because I've understood the concept of badchims pretty fast (the fact that they're cut of without being breathed). this also makes it logical for me that ㅅ as a badchim sounds like a T and I still see it as the same letter and not a special pronunciation rule.

    • @FernandoGarcia-py7ux

      The word 잎 is originally "닢" but the initial ㄴ has a dissapeared. However, in compound words like 꽃잎 that sound remains, so it is actually 꽃닢 and it ends up being pronounced as 꼰닢.

      If you speak any Asian language then it will be easy for you to understand this word is actually "Gh" When it is at the beginning of a word like "ghamsahabnida" When it is in bottom/middle it is Perfect "G" Like "igo"and when it is at the the end it has a little" K" Sound not proper but a little sound. Same goes with some other alphabets in Korean language., if you Will study, you will understand that. Sound are a little complicated for westerns you have to practice more on sounds to identify but if you speak any Asian language specially Hindi, Thai, Japanese, (perfect if you speak Tamil because 1000 of the words in Korean and tamil are same with same accent it is easy for Indians to catch satoori Korean accent which is hard but easy for us, it is actually a long story of Indian princess and marriage of Korean prince ) it will easy for you but again it depends on how much you practice or imitate them while speaking it's fun 😜
      I know it's long and a little complicated but hopefully this will help you 🙂

    So this brings to my attention another word - 못 ...Why is that ㅅ is pronounced with like a 'T' sound rather than a 'S' like the usual? Because for me pronouncing and writing hangul is just not working. lol. And thank you for the videos, helps a lot.

    • @FernandoGarcia-py7ux
      @FernandoGarcia-py7ux 5 лет назад

      When ㅅ is on batchim and there's no vowel after it, then it becomes ㄷ.
      했다 Is pronounced 핻다 and 했어 is 해써.
      For 못 it is pronounced 몯 but in the word "mistake" (잘못) if you place the topic marker it is pronounced 잘못은 with an S sound because there's another vowel next to it, so the sound just "flows" to the next syllable.

    I have a question
    When we want to read 셋 we should read "set" or "ses"?
    And where we should read this world ("ㅇ"👈this") "ng" or without any sound?

    • @hemaurr
      @hemaurr 4 года назад

      셋 is pronounced as set because of the 받침 rule and ㅇ produces no sound when it is used in a vowel (vowels can't make sense individually) for example it's 아니 not ㅏ니, here ㅇ is silent, but ㅇ is not silent in for example 방 here ㅇ produces a ng sound
