The best thing about Korean unnie is that you not only learn Korean but also English grammar 😂😂
Although it is supposed to be "to whom" not "to who", but hey, no biggie, Korean Unnie is terrific!
My English professor told me a couple of years ago that "to who" is now acceptable in American English. I still prefer "to whom" personally.
@@lingcherd same here
@@armoricain ok but ive NEVER heard a native (i am a native myself) say "whom" in everyday speech. It is really only used in exams and stuff
@@jellyyz6335 I know... and "whom" sounds a little too "perfect", doesn't it? :-)
No body knows how much relief spread through my body when Unnie announced that there were only two ways to use 'Onjhae (When)' after explaining the six ways to use 'Nugu (Who)'
Lol samee
Meeeeeeee. U know what else gave me that feeling? Finding out u don't have to conjugate in Mandarin 🤣
Such a good point. When I was at the Yonsei KLI, it made all the more sense when I realized that _누구/nugu_ essentially morphs in a manner not too unlike 내가/제가, since it's basically a pronoun (in both English and Korean), not really an adverb/determiner ^^
@@sleepingbeauty1641Bruh it just removed the extra e when i translated it to english
I gave up when she said there are *6* ways to say "who"! 😳😅 lol But I love how in-depth, fun and professional like her videos- even if im hopeless! 👏🏽👏🏽
+Mariette Mayisa Haha other articles are pretty simple don't give up!
me too lol. I just stopped right there, but I continued to watch again later lol
Mariette Mayisa 😂
hehe same here but then discovered that it is (with whom, from home, to whom, who is this/that?, who (ate)?, who do you like?
Even me I gave up at night bcs I was tired but in the morning I studied whole complete video ☺

😂😂😂😂😂😂
i like how she explained clearly, fun and cute expression
Bbali
My head is about to explode when she said there is 6 ways to say 'who'🤣 i stop for awhile 😂😂
If she will teach me in person. i might learn it too fast.
Me too ,I wish
Me three
Me four
yes, absolutely right.
I think in my opinion, this is one of the best videos you've done. Really useful and informative! I'm on vacation this week and would like to participate on your live stream on Friday. How do you do that?
*THIS DESERVES MORE LIKES. YOU DESERVE MORE VIEWS. KOREAN UNNIE/MOON SOHYUN I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HARD JOB AND THE TIME YOU TAKE TO TEACH US. I AM REALLY THANKFUL. THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU MUST KNOW THAT WE SUPPORT YOU NO MATTER WHAT THANK YOU AGAIN.*

I finished learning this question words after studying for around 8 hours... I distributed this video for 4 days. Now, I am going to take my time to review this lesson for 2 days and start a with the next lesson. I even made a list of what videos I want to watch and in which order. :)
Thank you korean unnie for making earning korean fun and easy, not just that but covinient as well.
The thing I can't help noticing is how much better your english pronunciation has gotten. You speak so much comfortably and clearly now. See, you always learn something yourself when you teach. Good job!!
heh, I have always found her english good. Havent even notice any change , sounds always good to me.
ßLÀCK ÇAT I didn't say her accent was bad. I just said she speaks more comfortably and naturally in English now. This is what always happens. The more you speak, the more you speak well.
Hi Korean Unnei!
Your voice like a nice music. I love the way you you explain & teach.
I appreciate that you mention there’s a difference between written and spoken Korean. It really helps foreign learners sound more natural when speaking. ❤️
Hi unnie, i was seeing your videos since yesterday and I'm in love with the way you explain Korean! ♥
Welcome!
started from yesterday when she start giving lesson i feel it's very easy but reality check when I try to remember I go blank
Hi unnie, u r a good teacher....and do u know what..I like your way of teaching...and even love learning korean only from you... Hope so u soon upload more videos.....

" There are 6 ways to say who in korean "
Me : the hell 😱😱 i think learning one way out of 6 is just fine right ?? Nooo !!! okay
I LAUGHED SO HARD WHEN SHE SAID "Nugu-hago" because in my language, "hagu" means poop and it sounded very much like it😂😂😅😅😅
Hello Bangladeshi person
I'm new subscribers, so delighted to hear your voice, your teaching make me feel comfortable to speak Korean, 감사합니다 누나 사랑해요 💜
Right
I started learning from 1 month and I almost understand everything what kdrams say. And you are fabulous and cutest teacher for us
Another great video I wish I had when I first started learning korean 😄
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort doing this for us 😃
You cannot beat this for thorough, accurate, and rich content for learning. So good! Thank you!
Thank you again. I am still waiting for Huge compilation of Verbs and Adjectives. 200+ please, if possible. :D . They are the most important.
I remember your request from the livestreaming. The video is on preparation, don't worry! :)
ahh okay. We will truly appreciate it. Please take your time and if bulky enough dividing it into part will be convenient I think.
whoa. it's a bit much to ask, don't you think?
Noni Park Yea, I do feel bad asking her that much. I actually never thought she will take my request seriously though, which I feel lucky now that I am heard. :D
But, verbs should be our first priority if we are learning second language, and sadly almost all language instructor neglects it.
Even if you download app" about 95% dont focus on verbs at all when it should be other way.
Instead of learning color' which we probably never gonna hear in normal conversation to begin with, verbs are something that are everywhere.
Google top 1000 most common english words and you will never see color in it. not even fruit except apple.
Top 1000 words = 70% understanding, approx. Means we don't need name of color and fruits during early phase of language learning.
And I believe it will help both the parties, hope it helps to grow her channel even further at faster rate.
Actually this is a good book/workbook objective missing in all the books I've ordered in Korean. While taking French and Spanish, I was able to purchase books with the top 200 verbs and their conjugation. Was the best reference book I bought and have given as gifts to friends taking those languages. Maybe Korean Unnie will be the first to create this book. I'd buy in two seconds and would make a great reference for anyone taking Korean from any source.
HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH I've been looking for a good explanation for so long thank you so much
Thanks unnie, you're the best!
Dude you're the most amazing teacher I've had for Korean so far!
Actually I'm not listening to what she says.. I'm just staring in her like... Ughh I adored her a lot..
ㅋㅋㅋㅋ same she's so pretty
That meme lol: WHY ARE YOU RUNNING??!!!
WHY ARE YOU RUNNING????!!!!!
Korean version: 왜뛰어!!!!! 왜뛰어!!!!!
LOL
Opening the Korean world with your tremendous support. Thank you very much, Unnie!
I started learning Korean a few months ago and what I love most about your videos other that them being so entertaining and easy to follow is that you truly grasp the grammar struggles some native English speakers (like myself) that have a hard time with learning some of the grammar points, vocabulary, etc and make it super easy to understand. I love your content and thank you so much for all of your hard work!!!
This video is great!!!! I love how you organize language videos. It really is smart and brings together concepts.
I've been studying with you for a while now. I use three other RUclips channels and 4 books. You are the best! I come to your channel more often than the other channels and books I use. You make it so easy to understand and I love your personality!
Thank you Britanita >
감사합니다 😊 I learnt a lot of new information about the question words in Korean. Your lessons are always helpful. Thank you again.
This video is so helpful. Thank you for this, it was much needed. I don't know if you are taking requests, but could you do a compilation of the most commonly used korean verbs.
Also there's a typo at 10:06
I am working on it! ;)
Korean Unnie 한국언니 Thank you.. So much can you do more videos like this. With like verbs, nouns, and stuff.
You are so cute and funny..it really helps me to understand well how to use and understand Korean language.big help for my coming exam nextyear.thank you cute unnie
hello...why does the ㄴ sounds like d sounds the way you pronounce the ㄴ becomes D..its sounds dugu...its confusing
Christian ryan Gonzales it just be like that you know? Some people say ㄴ like a d. It just depends. Like sometimes you can hear a person say 네 (yes) and it sounds more like ‘de’.
Thanks unnie so much you are the best
thankyou so muchhhh this was really helpful

hey there stranger. Dont be upset. I also find it quite hard. I’m sure if we keep watching this video and try to make our own sentences and truly try hard, we can definitely reach our goals. CHEER UP!
@@poopycup614 Thank you for a supportive message :)
Kisu _ it’s the least I could do
@@poopycup614 wow this reply made me soo confident lmao btw thank u💜
Keep practicing. It really does all start to click and fall into place the more you hear and use the language. You can do it!
Why there is "갈" in " 내일 어디에 갈 거에요? where will you go tomorrow" sentence. But there is no "갈" in this sentence "언제 가요? When will you go?" while both are asking for future tense. Answer please. Thank you 선생님.
girly eightytwo because that is the future tense for the verb to go 가다 = 가 +을 거예요 it doesn’t have anything to do with “어디에” the second one it really is when (implying-you) go (implying the future) so therefore 을 거예요 it’s omitted. You could say 언제 갈 거예요? If you want to emphasize the future tense. I hope this helps! ^^
ひめな does unnie have a video for diff korean tenses?
ひめな I suppose it depends whether 언제 가요? is translated as 'when will you go?' or 'when do you go?' as the latter can be taken as meaning the present or future tense. For example, 'when do you go shopping?' as in, when do you usually go shopping, or 'when do you go shopping?' as in 'when are you going to go shopping?' This means that 언제 가요 is only used when you don't need to stress the fact that it's in the future. Is that correct??
You're a great teacher!! Thank you for your hard work on these videos ❤
언니, 감사합니다!!!! This is a great review video, and it's so helpful to have all this information in one place.
