The last one, but I've heard that people with adhd need a clean setup so as not to be distracted. Maybe the first one would be their choice? I kind of like my desks fairly clean as well, but maybe not that clean. If I do need distractions, which I frequently do, I'll just go somewhere else.
Dude I’m loving the podcast microphone style from tech reviewers only because when I have headphones on there’s time I listen in the background. The consistency in great audio makes me think you should podcast dude. Love it!
Love this series, it has inspired me to work on a small setup of my own! You mentioned you are left handed, it'd be great if you can shed some light on some mouse options for fellow lefties!
Press Windows Key + X. Select on Control Panel. Click on Power Options. On the left, click on "Choose what closing the lid does". Click on the drop down menu for "When I close the lid" and choose "Do Nothing" hope it helps :)
The problem I have with powerful laptops used closed (plugged in an external monitor) is heat. If they work hard, they get hot, if they get hot and are closed they risk damaging not just the insides due to poor ventilation, but more likely damaging the screen. I have seen damaged laptops in the past, damaged from exactly that. Anyway, to each their own. Regarding the overall setups shown, obviously good job. Thanks for the video.
First time watching. Honestly, every setup is dope. To critique and say one doesn't have personality or it looks bare. Not everyone has a certain monitor/keyboard/mouse/laptop/lgb lighting, especially even space for all of it! This channel shouldn't critique but honor what everyone's setup is.
Am a bit concerned with the closed gaming laptops while using it especially heavy loads. Yes I know that the vents are on the side back of the laptop. However, wouldn't the heat near the keyboard where could the cpu or gpu are placed affect the screen of the laptop? Nonetheless, I really love the setups so clean and gives me inspiration for my setup. Thanks for this!
Our new monitor light is based on a completely different design from the traditional, it is a curved design, which breaks most of the existing straight screen lights in the market with traditional sense and more suitable for the current popular curved screens.

Matthew, how could you attack the teacher’s photo when it’s clearly a good photo. Sure there are some areas in some shadow but it looks great, especially with the accent lighting coming from top left. Well done to the teacher
A significant amount of heat is dissipated through the keyboard. Laptops are engineered to fine tolerances. Using it in any other way will affect performance and longevity.
Hi even i am from India. The last setup looked amazing but the thing is that, in India whatever keyboard, laptop, mouse anything u buy is way too expensive than in any other country i would say. For ex: take rk 61, it is 50$ in USA but it is 100$ in India. That's why you don't get so many good looking setups from India. Owning a setup like that is way more expensive than you think in India. By the way I like ur vids. i will finish my 10th Grade this year, then i will send my non expensive setup PLS continue to do these videos at any cost.
I can totally relate with this. I was looking to buy a good budget mechanical keyboard. It was around 35$ but when i looked up on Amazon india it was around 9k INR like wtf ! We can't even imagine about these hella expensive setups
My friend is a leftie, but he learned to use the mouse with his right hand so he could play computer games without having to reconfigure it all the time. I'm a righty, but I've learned to use the mouse on my left hand too as I often do photo editing; my left hand controls the mouse and keyboard while my right hand using a wacom pen.
Having a laptop closed might be ok for thermal management, but having it open is better, resulting in a handful of degrees less, possibly resulting in fans spinning less.
I like the HP one,he utilize the space well. The picture also was good but I think the way he edit made it worse. Lighting became dull... still best setup for me
With these laptop set ups where the lid is closed, do they open the laptop every time they turn it on and then closing it back? Or is there a way to turn on the laptop with the lid closed?

Guys please I need some help with my set up, I have a lenovo slim 7. and I have a seperate 120hz+ monitor. Ive been having issues getting a higher refresh rate on my monitor. Its stuck at 60hz. ive tried 2 different cables. one is a thunderbolt to hdmi(monitor takes hdmi) and the other was a basic hdmi cable with a thunderbolt converter. Anyone with experience please help!. Awesome video btw. I loved the first set up.

Take a look at acer, hp, and similar brands, 15" laptops with ryzen 4700U CPU, it is a hella beast of a CPU which will most definitely handle all the tasks you could put it through (obviously not meant for gaming, although I can game FH4 on it comfortably on low settings 30fps solid, it's a low TDP cpu but multitasking is crazy good).

i miss them too
if there are no bad looking setups, then my setup can't qualify hhahahaha XD

Hey just wondering how they turn on the laptop without having to flip the screen. I want the same dope setup as well
Always have had the same question
It’s in battery settings you have select what it does when it closes
I just spam my (bluetooth) keyboard works fine with my macbook!
I have a Dell dock for my laptop. Don’t need to open lids anymore. Might submit my setup once updated.

if there is no intake vent ont the laptop keyboard and no exhaust vent either, then it doesn't make sense
