Remind me of my childhood, what a wonderful movie , we used to wait for it all week. the the intro music and the introduction always played in our minds whenever we rode on our bicycles to our schools . originality and creativity never dies. Pakistan
I used to watch this backin the 1990s everytime it plays around 6 p.m. At that time I did not even undertsnad English-I was round 3-5 years old. I would cry if my family does not play it, since I was the youngest-they would open it.
I grew up watching Knight Rider in reruns when I was 3 years old, the original and the revamped are the best of both worlds. the Knight 2000 and the Knight 3000 are the best supercars on TV.
I remember when I was in elementary school and keep my eyes star on the screen to watch Black car as a miracle :)

the new KR is really entertaining. I found it to be a nice homage to the original. Although I hardly remember the original, I remember all the jumping and riding out of the sunset. I think the camera angle directing was way better then. The new Kitt, I enjoy his sarcasm and his voice.

Too be honest I like them both I grow up with the old one and I love it. How ever tje technology used then was good . I like the newer ideas new technologies used each to there own I suppose half of the stuff at the end was made up by someone as they diddent show that in the film

Loved that show, had the plastic toy car when I was a kid, and now I´ve got the 1:18 scale miniature.I was completely fascinated by the show, specially Kitt. It´s just a shame what they did in the 90´s and the 2008 show as well... argh!
The Mustang was okay, but MORPHING INTO A TRUCK? into OTHER CARS including a 1967 Mustang as well? Can that shit be any less beliavable???

Loved the 2008 show but the 1980 Kitt's Sideways drive boost was awesome and REAL - no cgi, pure real live stunt the 2008 version did not deliver.

I'm only 16 and I think (and judging for the comments on this video many people thinks like me) that the original series was way better than the remake. Even though you saw the driver when KITT was supposed to be driving itself, it was WAY better than all the computer rendering that was on the new one (and I love computers). There's something about seeing a car jump over a cliff and realise that it's a real stunt. 80's Knight Rider ALL THE WAY!!

Putting the technologie aside, theres only one true diffrence between the 1982 and the 2008 version and thats KITT's personality!
1982: kitt was technical but had an amazing sence of humor and had feelings in a way. He bonded at the same time with michael also he helped ppl . Like tht guy he gave 5$ to and tht guy bough a lottery ticket and became a millionar. also he could get any info he needed
2008: KITT has less to do with the show in a way. He can tell how exacly there feeling wich is co
