I loved this show when I was a kid. It came out around the same time I first got interested in electronic music and bought my first synthesizer, a Korg Poly 800. Soundtracks like Airwolf, Street Hawk and anything by Tangerine Dream were a huge influence.
Recently watched all four seasons again and got inspired to try covering the entire extended theme, which I always wanted to do but could never do with a Poly 800 back then.
Plus I finally got around to learning Propellerhead Reason's sequencer, so I figured what better way to cover a helicopter tune than with something called "Propellerhead." :-P
The video clip is just something quick I hacked together... made up of action scenes from several episodes making it look like 4 or 5 bad guys ganging up on the Lady, only for her to mop the floor with them at the end.
This is just for fun. No copyright infringement intended.

Air wolf (1984), is still watched by the fans after about 36 years . Theme music is excellent and thrills action and momentum. Superb TV show.
In my opinion. One of the best shows from the 80's that could have lasted longer if Jan Michael Vincent did not have too many personal issues.

SILVERSTACKER650 The 222 is no longer in production. What is out now are upgraded or older versions. The 430 is the newer version and a little bigger but design is identical.

Probably the most recognized and admired tune of all the 80's shows.
I always saw this show as the Knight Rider of the sky.
Just today I had the same thought while watching those high-caliber rounds bounce off without a scratch. You're right, Airwolf was pretty much the KITT of aircraft. Only difference being KITT had no "active" weapons, except for that laser, but that was rarely used.

john doe On the plus side- being in the future- you could fill your whole house with 80's goods from a thrift shop for a few thousand dollars, then spend all your time indoors watching VHS tapes of your favorite shows. In that sense, you can accurately recreate a genuine 1980's hermit experience.

This is an amazing remake of the Airwolf theme. I love the key changes, the percussion, the inclusion of both bridge sections, and the inclusion of the taking off and speed boost sound effects. Just wonderful. Such amazing work.😁💖🤘🤘👍👍

This was such a implausible show with ridicules plots but so was the A-Team.
Still better then having nobodies whine about their 1st world problems and call it "comedy".

I remember getting hyped at 5 years old whenever I heard this show come on , it was one of my favorite shows , too bad they took it off, it was awesome and good music too, and Jan Michelle Vincent was hot!!

Loved the show so much, even have an RC Helicopter of "The Lady"... hands down my fav. BTW, you're correct, it was a Bell 222B, and the closest thing Bell made after was the Bell 430. Would love to see a Movie come out with the 430, and perhaps an upgrade to the "Lady". Wonder where Jan Michael Vincent is now, too bad about what happened to him, and definately RIP Earnest. We will all miss you...
