@@JenniferMaker Can I ask you a quick question? I did a search for how to erase part of an image or shape in design space and everything I find says to use the magic wand tools (magic wand, eraser, and crop). It says it is in the top left corner, but I can't find it anywhere in my design space. Am I missing something? I see it when I upload an image (before I put it on the canvas) - just like in one of your videos, but what if I'm designing something on my canvas and want to do it from there?

My Cricut joy was a surprise for Christmas so I don’t yet have all the things I need. I followed along and just used two pieces of vanilla colored card stock. I did resize thinking I had to for the joy. Somehow my yellow card color disappeared and o couldn’t change it back… didn’t figure it mattered but I obviously changed the cut function so mine drew the card and stars so I just cut it out!
You do not have to resize for it to fit on the Joy -- it is already sized to fit on the Joy. Try again... it's a great way to learn! Congratulations on the Joy!!

This may not be where to ask this. But I’m about to attempt a shadow box for a very special family member who is graduating. While in design space, I'm having problems knowing how to zoom in and out. You did this easily to see the design up close or further out. Can someone give me information on this? Thanks in advance.
On the bottom left corner you can find the zoom. Hover over it to zoom in or out.
After many attempts and failures I finally got Design Space to download without failing onto ONE computer. I guess I don't understand as I thought once you set it up on one computer, since it is an iCloud setup that you could then access Design Space from other computers by signing in to the account without having to go through the complete download/install/setup again. At least that isn't happening for me, it just offers for me to download and set up my machine. Which just keeps failing. I am getting very discouraged. I am still binge watching your videos and downloaded your DS. handbook, etc. as well as watching other videos hoping I can find how to fix my problem.
you should be able to log in from each device into the same DS account to access the same projects. If you are having issues then try reaching out to Cricut Customer service.🥰
OK, update, I find that I DO have to download the software onto any computer that I want to log in to Design Space, once it is then activated on THAT computer, I am able to log in and use Design Space from that computer. My failures for the download were apparently due to poor internet even though we are supposed to have a decent connection. So, I hope it helps anyone also having a problem signing on from a different computer to know they must download it again and set it up signing in with whatever you initially set it up with to use it. I hope this helps. C

That is a good question. Do you have 2 Makers registered to your account? Mine were all different machines.

I love all of the new designs for cards on Cricut Design Space but they always call for insert cards, and I just want to cut the cards out of 12 X 12 cardstock. How do I do this?
You can cut squares with your Cricut that are the same dimensions as the inserts. 😊🌻
Hi Jennifer. I have a Maker 3. I've been following your kickoff videos, which have been incredibly helpful. I have a problem, however, with accessing the 'contour' feature. It is always grey. I don't ever get the chance to use it, even when I follow your instructions.

I have always been an Apple user. The MacBook Pro is my laptop. Apple computers are user friendly and very reliable. Here are the System Requirements from Cricut. You can find that here: help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009556033-System-Requirements-Design-Space 😁
If you want to make 4 duplicates of same front or back of card do you highlight and copy and paste? Do you need to change any settings?
You can just hit duplicate for what you have selected and it will be the same size.
do you know if the older Cricut works with the design space

Help please! I know you mentioned the "Image Info" when discussing Design Space and I remember that your view showed that info...mine does not, it's grayed out or at least not really visible. It was the same way when I had a paid subscription. Do you know why it isn't actually available to view? Thank you again for your wonderful tutorials!!
A tool will be grayed out if the function cannot be performed. For instance, slice will only be available to choose if only 2 layers are selected.
what do i need to do when i get a "PROJECT INCOMPATIBLE.. this project is not supported by your current machine selection,to resolve select OK & adjust affected layers" message when trying to (make it)
This simply means that your project is too large for the machine you are using or the tools you need are not compatible with that machine.
My design page, canvas, doesn’t have all the top and side icons. I wish you could see what I have so I could understand??

I am not planning to keep DS past my 30 day free trial. I'm wondering what will be available after. I know the images and fonts with the little access a in the corner, but what about other features such as items on the DS home pages like 'trending on social', 'pop up cards' etc.
Design Space is free to use and is the only way to operate your Cricut. You are probably referring to Cricut Access. Here is some information on it. jennifermaker.com/cricut-access/
