Hey Jennifer! I know you said previously that you aren't a fan of the hook weeding tool, but I really recommend it for projects involving glitter vinyl or mesh. I just find it works better than the regular weeding tool for those materials. Maybe give it a try and see if you like it better!

I've been pulling out my old printouts from when I got an Air 2. It's my husband's now that I have a Maker 3. He'll need help! lol It's good to go back in time and what I think of most is all the material threw away due to mistakes. The memories of laughing so hard about it. lol Thank you for doing this every year!

So much information I am going to go back further to day 1 because I am still struggling with using my Cricut Maker and want to make it a goal to master it in 2024. Thank you so much Jennifer for your time and all the free learning tutorials and handbook and downloads since I joined xmas eve in readiness for your online live. I have been wanting to get into cricut but been unsure and am saving up for the maker model only. I feel it is great you can teach me before I go ahead as it is a huge purchase for me, so I will just be learning everything I can from all your videos and practicing your tutorials in design space. Hopefully I will be kind of confident by the time I manage to purchase and not go in cold haha.

I bought a bunch of vinyl right away. Then learned that there are different kinds for different projects 🤦♀️ So glad I found Jennifer!
I did the same but now mine just sits there because I like cardstock and sublimation much better.
I have all the different tips and have only used maybe 3 of them, ugh. Im rewatching for what i may have missed. Jennifer, you and your team are awesome!
What is the best way to print and save your books
Many of our readers are printing it at home, a print shop or even at your local library as often times, printing at the library is the least costly printing option! :) For the playbook, it is divided into 3 sections - Desktop, iOS, and Android. Not all of the pages have to be printed out. You would just print out the section that you need.

Thanks for another great tutorial! I just purchased the Brother sublimation printer a few days ago based on your review, but haven't set up yet. Can I use with DS and my Maker or is it only compatible with Artspira app? If DS can be used, are you planning any sublimation tutorials using Cricut DS and the Brother printer? Thanks!
Unless you're printing designs off Cricut Design Space directly, you don't need to use Design Space to print sublimation images. Check out jennifermaker.com/print-sublimation-designs-from-google-docs 😊🌻

can i use any other mugs for the mug press?

There are two styles -- the one on the left uses PVC pipes, so it’s height adjustable to your needs. The one on the right is all 3D printed except for the table, which is a piece of wood screwed to the legs. Both meet the requirements in Cricut’s Safety Instructions for “a flat and stable surface” as the Cricuts are just sitting on stable tables.

I have a Cricut Expression 2. Have you heard of this one? I've never heard you mention it when you are naming the Cricut. My husband got this for me years ago. Yes. It is still in the box. I've heard you mention names & the Expression 2 was not mentioned. Help?😂
The Expression does not use Design Space. I refer to those that do. The Explore family, Maker family, Joy family and the Venture.

Remind me if I have maker original and an unopened cricut explore deep cut housing and blade (black) but has the green packaging not white… it will not work in the maker?
Yes the black deep cut blade will work with the explore and makers. I personally haven’t used it yet (had for years tho). Jennifer said she uses for cardboard, chipboard, stiffened felt and foam sheets.
is the maker tools organizer tray on amazon?
Yes and several varieties. I have 2 machines and they each have a 3 piece set. They are great, no room for snacks tho, lol!
Does cricut make a cord to computer with c connection?
No, you just need to purchase an inexpensive adapter for Apple computers most most any local store.
Is the handbook a free download?
Yes, the Cricut Kickoff handbook is free!
Can you use a mat with the cricut 3?
Yes 😊🌻 You can use the same mats as the Maker and Explore machines 😊🌻
I've been told I need a printer to use my maker 3, is that true?
