Valve Corporation (formerly Valve Software, commonly referred to as Valve; stylized as VALVE) is an American video game development and digital distribution company based in Bellevue, Washington, United States. I remember the first time I saw the 2011 intro. I was booting up Portal 2 for the first time and when the guy started to turn around, my heart skipped a beat.
I have portal 2 for xbox and it only plays the one where he doesn't turn around. Any idea why?

I was starting Portal for the first time on Switch a few nights ago. It’s my first Valve game and the intro caused me to just mash the home button on the controller from the jolt of fear it gave me.

That's actually not true. Both of them were random people they found while going around Seattle and brought in for a photo shoot. Even the people at Valve dont really know or remember who they were. Both of them were found at a coffee shop

I have been playing TF2 for about 3 years and i remember how much the intro (second one) scared me when i saw it for the first time. After i got used to it i wanted to try out a new game and chose portal 2. Now imagine little me seeing the head move.

I remember turning 10 and getting a computer for my birthday, I got TF2 with it. When I turned TF2 when I was bored and home alone, and I saw the 3rd Valve man, It really scared me. I couldn't play TF2 for a while until I forced myself to open it. Now I am a large Valve fan and main pyro
I used to love tf2 and whenever the intro came I looked away I didnt know what it looked like i only saw it for 1 military second and one day i played a demo of another game i didnt knew hae the intro so when i saw it for more than 1 second it really scared me

For those that don't understand this, it's simple:
In the first intro, that dude has a *Valve* on his left eye. And if you turn a valve it opens. I'm pretty sure Valve was trying to say that their games look amazing, and you should look at it!
In the second intro, that other dude has a *Valve* on his head. And again, a valve can open. They might've wanted to say, that the game has a lot of good puzzles and that you should think a lot!
Nah 2nd wave Valve games were known to be pretty puzzle-y, most notably Portal and HL2 with the introduction to physics in fps games. So I think it tells you to think more or sm shit

The music isn't remixed, it's just a different part of the Valve theme (which is actually originally from Half-Life)

The first one was actually the 2004 intro without the trembling effects. The version shown here was just the 2004 version. Also, the latest Valve intro wasn't 2015, it was 2012 debuting with CS:GO (but was later replaced with a intro that had no Valve head)

These made me feel like I was in fourth grade again. Things were so different then. I really felt like I had unlimited time, and I felt more at home in a valve game than I did in my actual life.
I don’t play games at all like that anymore. Only the occasional hour maybe once a week. I wish valve still made games. There’s were the best. I remember I did a “where I wanna work when I grow up” project/speech in elementary school and I said artist for valve. It makes me sad to know that I let my child self down. But I still am an artist deep down.
