What was heart-breaking about this unless you were a Michigan fan or an ESPN announcer? For anyone else, it was probably the most exciting football game of the 1994 season.
I was there, grew up in Ann Arbor with many family members graduating form UM. The UM fans started taunting Colorado in the 4th quarter with "OVERRAAAATED!!! OVERRAAAATED!!!". This was instant karma. Also, I miss Keith Jackson. I miss watching a game on TV without some rabid weasel shrieking non-stop.
24-7 well you guys always played cupcakes non-conference schedule we played Wisconsin, Texas, both ranked. But I admit 1995 Nebraska is one of the best teams I ever saw. You guys would play Wyoming, Louisiana tech, once & awhile Washington or Arizona st. We played Miami, Stanford, Illinois Texas a&m😊 before 1996, Tennessee, Iowa, & Washington.
There have been so many Miracle at Michigans we need to start numbering them. This is Miracle at Michigan I. App State is Miracle at Michigan II. Michigan State punt return is Miracle at Michigan III. etc. lol
I played for the University of Colorado as a scholarship athlete a few years before this. This is my favorite University of Colorado football game ever. On a side note, I was in graduate school at the time and working as a bouncer at the front door of a very popular bar on the downtown Pearl Street Mall of Boulder. We had a long line out the front door waiting for people to exit so people could enter. Michael Westbrook walked up to the front of the line and looked at me like he was entitled to come in. In my opinion he was and I felt bad that I had to tell him that he has to wait. He was actually pretty cool about it. I got some of my bouncer friends on the inside to let's just say convince a bunch of people to leave so that the line move fast. Michael didn't have to stand out there for more than 5 minutes.
A game to remember ideas: 2013 South Carolina vs Missouri 2015 California vs Texas 2009 Tennessee vs Alabama 2013 Michigan vs Penn State Love your videos man ! Been watching you for 2 years !
Nebraska vs Florida 1995 Fiesta Bowl Nebraska at Missouri 1997 Florida at Florida State 1994 (Choke at the Doak) Ohio State vs Arizona State 1997 Rose Bowl Florida State at Virginia 1995 I always liked those games...And I'm a Buckeye fan...
You always do great work on these videos. This game had a good number of future Pro's in it. Two things: 1. RIP Keith Jackson And 2. It's a shame what happened to Rae Carruth. He was a great receiver.
Fuck Rae carruth he's a pos, he had his pregnant girlfriend murdered and the baby survived but has cerebral palsy, I believe the pos is scheduled for parole this year 2019 October.
Outstanding video! These game to remember videos are always my favorite. I’d love to see a game to remember for #17 Oregon vs #7 Washington of 2018-2019 season
I remember car horns going wild all over Boulder, CO when that "Hail Mary" was answered; people yelling, screaming and celebrating with wild abandon. I also remember KOA sports announcer Larry Zimmer shouting three times: "Colorado has won the football game! Colorado has won the football game! Colorado has won the football game!" This had to be the most thrilling moment in Colorado sports history, including Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, NBA and NCAA football national championship victories.
If ever there was a college team that knows how to break the hearts of it's followers, it's Michigan. I've never seen a team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory quite like my beloved Wolverines
Actually, it seems Michigan has WON more games seemingly out of nowhere than any team in history. They are , after all, the by far winningest team in college football history .
#7 bearing #4. I mean it was an upset but Colorado was still a good team. App st to me is still the greatest upset ever because of them not even being in same division as Michigan
I'm a Michigan State fan and I remember thinking that has to be the toughest loss I've seen anyone take. I mean both fanbases believed that game was over for sure.
This loss hurt more ..because we had a NT team and we gave up a game to Colorado who also had a NT team with a lot of injuries...if we had Tyrone Wheatley in this game we would've killed Colorado. He was out with a seperated shoulder n we didnt get him back til like week 5 along with some other key injuries..2015 hurt but we wasnt a title team at all
2015 M vs MSU is the "most heartbreaking" because M was leading and had last ball possession, and M had no business of losing. Against Colorado, M was winning, but the Buffalos had last possession, so M still had a chance of losing should the Hail Mary is answered for Colorado,
Looked like it hit someone's hands at about the Michigan 2. 74 yards in the air. Looking back on it, I'm glad Westbrook caught it and not Carruth. No one would want this legendary finish associated with that guy.
@Leland Joseph Decent enough. I got a loving family, i'm gainfully employed, have money in the bank, a roof over my head, and food in the fridge. Life is peachy. Fuck Michigan.
For my money this is the greatest hail Mary in football history. College or pro! Because the ball went almost 70 yards in the air!
Keith Jackson.....!!!
His voice is the one that's would voice-over my childhood...in the back yard with friends playing ball...🏈
College football ain't the same without The Voice, Keith Jackson...
Watched that game live and loved every moment of it 😊
Remember this was a huge game at the time in 94 cause THERE wasnt alot of cross conference matchups back then this was my Jr yr of HS

Game to remembers 🔥
Rashan Salaam Heisman Trophy year...he was a beast n Colorado had a NT team but Nebraska had an NFL team n stomped their hopes in 94

What an arm on that last throw.
Remember when Appalachian state went in week 1 like 15 yrs ago I don't think there was even a line on the game 😎😎
There have been so many Miracle at Michigans we need to start numbering them. This is Miracle at Michigan I. App State is Miracle at Michigan II. Michigan State punt return is Miracle at Michigan III. etc. lol
This is almost like an inspirational video. If you work hard and play until the final whistle anything can happen. Never give up.

thank you, harris highlights, Michigan is now 0-4 on HH youtube channel 😂 😢
0-5 Iowa, Florida st, app st, Ohio st, and now Colorado 😂😂
Andy Osegueda the winningest team in fb history and he gotta have us 0-5 ):
Can’t we at least do 1 win? Like ND 2011
Liam McElroy exactly! ND 2011, Wisconsin 2018 (revenge tour begins) 2017 minnesota (hudson sets b1g tacklong record) 2015 citrus bowl (harbaugh first bowl win at UM) 2018 NW (largest comeback) so many options
Daniel Abrego well some of those weren’t really great games from an outsiders perspective but yeah I get your point
What game would you like to see remembered next? Also, please help this video get 200 likes, thank you!

I always liked those games...And I'm a Buckeye fan...
Go Buckeyes
Now the buffs have coach prime
Only time I've heard Keith Jackson so emotional!!! So even keeled most of the time, like Pat Summerall!!!
It just happened again
what a gut-wrenching way to lose
That very same Saturday, Washington ended Miami's home-winning streak down at the Orange Bowl.
An epic weekend of football.
You always do great work on these videos. This game had a good number of future Pro's in it. Two things:
1. RIP Keith Jackson
And
2. It's a shame what happened to Rae Carruth. He was a great receiver.
Jason Johnson how’s it a shame? He’s a fucking murderer. It was his own decision you dumbass
Jackson Callahan stfu jackson
Fuck Rae carruth he's a pos, he had his pregnant girlfriend murdered and the baby survived but has cerebral palsy, I believe the pos is scheduled for parole this year 2019 October.
GO BUFFS!!! Been waiting a long time for this! Thanks Harris.
Got em back in ‘97
This was used in SI's year of sports 1994
Outstanding video! These game to remember videos are always my favorite. I’d love to see a game to remember for #17 Oregon vs #7 Washington of 2018-2019 season
That Colorado team was Stack on offense
Nope. Was at both. That MSU game where they ran the fumbled punt is. Not even close.
Can we get like a 2011 Michigan Notre Dame or something damn...
This was my dad’s first time at the big house
A Game to Remember: 1.Ohio State vs 2.Michigan 2006
I remember car horns going wild all over Boulder, CO when that "Hail Mary" was answered; people yelling, screaming and celebrating with wild abandon. This is when FOOTBALL was original
Can we see a game to remember where Michigan wins? Please that epic music on a highlight gives me chills every single time.
This gotta be Kordell Stewart game? About to find out
If ever there was a college team that knows how to break the hearts of it's followers, it's Michigan. I've never seen a team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory quite like my beloved Wolverines
Notre Dame will have a word with you on line 2 .
Actually, it seems Michigan has WON more games seemingly out of nowhere than any team in history. They are , after all, the by far winningest team in college football history .
@@ernestkovach3305 at the small cost of the last 2 decades being absolutely hell.🤣
@@johndavis8746 true ,so true!
#2015 vs Michigan State
#7 bearing #4. I mean it was an upset but Colorado was still a good team. App st to me is still the greatest upset ever because of them not even being in same division as Michigan
These are the best videos love these
Sad game, but Michigan state at Michigan 2015 was more heartbreaking of a loss
Patrick McManus 2016 ohio state chief ):
I'm a Michigan State fan and I remember thinking that has to be the toughest loss I've seen anyone take. I mean both fanbases believed that game was over for sure.

Video Idea: “The Wide Rights”
Combine 1991 + 1992 FSU v Miami games
Man, Kordell had so much time!
Virginia tech Vs Nebraska?
2009
SeanaldThaSteelersFan we do not speak of that
Can you do the recent Sun Bowl of Pitt vs UCLA. A back and forth game with a thrilling final minute.
When Michigan is defeated, we all win.
what about when manti teos girlfriend died ;( RIP
Can you do the Micigian State fake field goal game or Wisconsin Michigan State hail mary game.
I think this is 2nd most heartbreaking for Michigan I mean all they had to was punt the ball but instead the Michigan miracle happened
You should do one on penn states comeback in the big ten championship vs Wisconsin
Good stuff!
Also michigan Appalachian State.
Joe Jones he already did that
1993 game of the century Notre Dame vs Florida state
Michigan is the Mets of college football
Appilanchan State
Stewart damm near threw it 80 yds!! He threw from the 26 yd line
Looked like it hit someone's hands at about the Michigan 2. 74 yards in the air.

@@johncate9541 if it weren't touched it would have gone further. Don't want the ball to hit the ground though.
Lol, 12:46-12:50 mark, Michigan OB Todd Collins, walking around looking dazed and confused as usual.
Notre Dame Stanford 2012 pls
RUclips doing everything they can do keep your videos hidden.
Lol no not really
No
what about the game when michigan had the number one defense and held the buckeyes to... oh.. shit.. nvm
Is top 100 plays from last season coming out
WE ARE!!!
Jacob Rudy He said it’ll take til maybe June
Penn State Steven C
And thanks Bradley Johnson
Just. Why.
Winged Helmet we have far too many heartbreaking losses at home
Could you do Nebraska vs Northwestern 2013?
How big that failed 2 point try stopped just short turned out to be?
Any time watching mich lose is a good day
YEESSSSS! Sweet skunkweasel tears.
Do a game to remember of the Oregon Vs Wisconsin 2012 Rose Bowl.
Do you have one about the infamous Colorado fifth down touchdown against Missouri that kept them undefeated and in the national championship hunt?
Michigan being Michigan...
Does anyone know this song in the background? I’ve been trying to find this for years. These videos are 🔥and this background song hypes me up

Thats it bro
The Young History Buff 🐐thanks bro
Buckeyes love to see Michigan lose 😎
Stewert to westbrook is Montana to rice
GO BUCKS!
Go buffs
A win against Brady is a win n matter what. We’ll take it.
Brady wasn’t there just yet
I was in 9th grade I believe
Do 2005 Penn State @ Michigan
2016:
Michigan 45
Colorado 28
22 years later. I guess you showed them. 😆
1997
App State loss was worse
Every time Michigan loses, everyone else win. I hope that campus burns.
@Leland Joseph Decent enough. I got a loving family, i'm gainfully employed, have money in the bank, a roof over my head, and food in the fridge. Life is peachy. Fuck Michigan.
What’s the music?
Guardians at the gate
Texas a&m vs Lsu
Couldn't you get rid of that annoying background noise?
Rae Carruth...
He's scheduled for parole this year 2019. I believe in October.
The music is ridiculous.
Rashaan Salaam. Wow. What a bust.
It weighed heavily on him and he committed suicide. Success rate in the NFL is slim. Although he was the youngest 1000 yard rusher in NFL history.
He was rookie of the year then got injured.
I would have been piss
Wrong, Oregon Auburn y’all never will feel that pain. We could of won a natty.
It’s a great game, absolutely. But to call it the most heart-breaking loss in CFB history is beyond hyperbole
Most heart breaking loss in CFB history? Buddy I'm a Michigan fan and can tell you this doesn't even make the top five for MICHIGAN
Honestly. App State, MSU punt, and OSU overtime are miles above this
Lol Colorado. Go pac.
😅😅😅😥😥
Ahahahahaha
