My god what a game!!! I was born and raised in SC on SC football. I had just moved to PA when this game happened. I was in a bar outside of Philly with one of my favorite bands playing, and I barely heard a single thing they did because I was glued to this game. College football isn't that big in Philly so nobody was paying any attention but me. Two teams nobody cared about and I'm jumping up and down. haha! Thanks for the great video!
it honestly makes me sick when great youtubers like this who put more effort into their videos dont have one million subs or at least one hundred thousand, i honestly hope you keep grinding and keep posting, love watching your stuff
I just turned 30 this year. I remember watching this game as a kid like it was just yesterday. I was too little to remember the 93 Florida St game and obviously I was around for the 88 Miami game. To this day, there hasn’t been a game that could match the hype and intensity that this one brought. Not even close. And when ND lost the way they did, a part of my soul left my body and hasn’t returned. It was still one of if not the best football games I have ever seen.
Nothing better than seeing the Notre Dame students storm the field, only to be told to go back and witness the most stunning of defeats. The look on Weis' face as he was walking on the field is priceless.
how y'all do this year bud? Oh and Notre Dame actually won this game, since USC cheated that entire season and reason why Carroll left. USC a bunch of dirty cheaters
ND beat us like we beat them last year in the Coli. It's okay. A bad season for SC is going 9-4. A bad season for ND is 4-8. Good luck this year. You won't be relevant for another five years after this season.
This is why we watch every week: hoping to see another moment we won't forget. It's both a modern classic and an all time classic. Good work. Whats that track you used at the end?
Actually, Matt looked at Pete and did the hand motion they use for a QB sneak, Matt was trying to hide it so no one from ND would see him do it. Matt said Pete looked at him and shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know, it's up to you. Well, we now know what Matt decided to do...... FIGHT ON!!!!✌️
I miss these days of football! Just a different time. Do u see the physicality and passion from the players?? You just don’t see this in college anymore
Do the 2000 Clemson South Carolina game. Neither team was GREAT, and it isn't remembered much, but I was watching it on the ESPN Classics channel, and it was AMAZING
Quinn missing that easy pass with a little over 7 min left in 4th quarter to his TE would have been an easy first down and more time off the clock. Irish could get closer and either score a TD or make the FG much easier. That play was HUGE and no one talks about it. Makes it 31-21 or at least 27-21. USC Scores to make 28-27. Since there would have been at least 90 sec - 2 min more off the clock, the Irish drive that ended in a TD to go up 31-28 could have been a makeable FG to win 30-28. But man, the Irish had them at 4th and 9 with over a min left and let SC pull off that route to Jarrett that took them all the way down to the 12....from there, Bush push.
This was the game that made me eternally hate USC with every bit of my being. The hate is deep and so incredibly real. It haunts me every time Notre Dame plays USC.
@@squigglyline2813 usc cheating is the dumbest narrative of all time. Bush’s parents took $$ from an agent towards the end of the season. The agent had no association to USC. Literally had 0 affect on the field
Wait a min me and Reggie bush are the same age! Why does this look like a classic game I used to watch as a kid! This video just let me know I’m now a part of the old school
God I was in like 5th grade when this happened and I remember it like it was yesterday. Had so many chances to put em out of their misery and just botched it.
The "Orlando Pull". ruclips.net/video/1jbdD9rBrt4/видео.html It's called FOOTBALL. It's a physical game. Often you have 3-4 offensive linemen help push/pull the ball carrier. If Notre Dame is so wimpy that one little running back overpowered your defensive line, then you deserved to lose.
If USC would've been stopped at the line and Michigan wouldn't have got a touchdown with one second left to beat Penn State, then the 2006 National Championship would've been Texas vs. Penn State.
Are we gonna ignore the USC coach calling for time out without a timeout left, that's a penalty and USC should have been moved back 15 yards, at least overtime
Im glad they didnt call it pushing the pile should have never been a penalty plenty of teams have done it before this game in high school college and the nfl
It was not legal in college football then. Idc if other teams have done it, a rule is a rule. There also should have been a 10 second run off when their QB fumbled out of bounds if SC didn’t have a timeout, witch they didn’t. SMH
I still to this day believe tackling Jerrett was ND's biggest mistake. Should've let him score. ND would've had about a minute and a half left, all 3 timeouts, USC's defense was crap, had Brady Quinn and Jeff Samardzija on their side, they would've won the game.
What game would you like to see remembered next?
Harris Highlights Oklahoma State vs Iowa State 2011 I'm gonna keep doing this till you do it

One of those game that you remember where you were and what you were feeling during the game
Never seen a running back who accelerates as quickly as Reggie Bush does
he always attributes that to running track in high school
Baylor vs Oklahoma in 2011 would be a good next choice. Such a damn good game. Made me a believer in RG3
You should do a series on all the powerhouse teams greatest moments man
Matt Leinart:Gives Carrol the do you want me to do it signal
