@@Isthisastep Yes, there were two different builds submitted - one was really good and attracted 10K supporters to move up from Idea Stage to Review Stage. Unfortunately, the Review Board didn't approve it. I guess it was too Nish. (If we were speaking, you'd get my pun on "niche". 😁)
Surprising, considering how mean Alex was to Sophie during the Champion of Champions III (I mean, it was all fun and games, but it did seem extra mean, considering how sweet Alex usually is)
@@stone5against1 That's fair. In his defense, producing, creating and overseeing tasks for 5 contestants in five weeks would drive any man up the wall! Certainly does with theater performers after 8 shows a week. That said, I think their little cheeky quips at each other make the dynamic fun. I do hope they're cordial off camera as well! :P
@@zoltanstudios Oh the interactions is what makes the show for me! I love the tasks, don't get me wrong, it's the meat of the show.. but the studio bits, or the in-task interactions between Alex and the contestants.. that's what glues it all together
@@stone5against1 Agreed. I think Sophie leaned into the Alex "being a subordinate" bit, which I continue to find comical in every episode. I think their "duel of words" is the most epic def jam of the century. And no matter how much conflict on or off camera, there's always rice at home.
I tried a clickbait title once as an obvious joke but even then it felt wrong haha, although I do think most of mine are probably so specific to the point they are just a mess
2:16 “no thank you” 😂😂😂 I feel like I’d be the same way if I was participating in a competition show in this format and the judges wanted to come round and chat with me while I was working lol!
Okay this is wild. I SWEAR I watched this exact episode with family one Christmas, before I got into Taskmaster at all, and I never made the connection until now. That's crazy, genuinely blowing my mind lol
I have absolutely NO idea what’s happening here, but I’m very much enjoying it. I’ve just watched S13 of Taskmaster with Sophie Duker (one of my new queens), and while I’ve learned my particular brain has a blind spot for the kind of spatial re-arrangement that suits doing anything with Lego other than following the instruction, I’m still very into what’s happening here (and that’s very clearly Greg Davies in a hot tub!)
since this first aired i have never stopped thinking about "IT WAS A CHRISTMAS PRANK!!! like when god put that baby in that lady. The Ultimate Prank."
Indeed the very best prank! hahaha
Not pictured: Ed Gamble stealing a bunch of stuff from Greg's house while he is in his hot tub.
The Taskmaster House needs to be a Lego set.
It nearly was at one point I think! Like it got into the final rounds of selection or something

Absolutely, yes!
aww I'd have totally bought that
The Taskmaster House needs to be made out of Legos for series 19.
"Is there anything I can do?" "Stop the clock..." too real
your archiving makes me so happy
Sophie Duker is a Top 5 Taskmaster competitor for me. She and Alex have incredible chemistry. Thanks for the upload, it made my day!

It's an inflatable hot tub because he likes to keep it real.
I love when a title is very clear about what I'm going to see, thanks haha

Really cute story
@@FyoreKyorda can't tell if you're being sarcastic or genuine.. (I'm autistic and tone is difficult over text sorry) but, thanks? I guess?
I was today years old when I learned there's a British version of Lego Masters.
honestly can’t thank you enough for this channel
Thank the people of reddit who kept asking me to put stuff on RUclips haha
"stop the clock" oh if only
Sophie smashing everything up like she’s Jamali Maddix.
I want to know where Alex buys his clothes.
He understands the assignment. I'm maybe not the biggest fan of comedians who dress like they're off to a red carpet event after the gig.
@@apetass123 Unless when they are hosting Taskmaster of course!
@@AH-te5gs Agreed! Context matters.
It would have been more Christmassy if they'd built Greg as His Infinite Majesty King Hydroflax.
0:26 I like the idea of all the Taskmaster winners living together at the Taskmaster House
I came to this excited to see Alex and Sophie making a structure while in a hot tub, so I guess that's on me.
Fun fact: this special got recorded in Polish TVN studio where polish version of Lego masters is recirded.
Merry Nishmas
Big fan of Horne's shirt
There's a British Lego masters? There goes my evening.
Makes two of us.
The British Lego Masters is the original. As with Taskmaster, it has been copied all over the world but it first aired in 2017 in Britain.
I wish we could have TaskMaster mini figs.
Nish "Last Place" Kumar. Lol. Seeing him and Alex together (sort of) again makes me so happy.
I love that we get to see gregs mom in a hot tub, and not greg himself 😂😂
This video title is EVERYTHING
Sophie must have had a secret task

Cheeky Banana Boy starter kit for the Moffats.
7:16 pure childlike whimsy
I want Alex's shirt for my nephew!
This is great! 🤣 Seeing Alex get genuinely frustrated is perfect 🤌🏻
Does anyone know where to get that shirt?
I need that shirt in my life.
aw lush :)
Thank you!!
'stop the clock' ha!
That was spectacular!
Thank you!
omg where did you watch this episode
You can still stream it on channel 4 I think
@@Isthisastep thank you, i found it 🙏 i think last time i was looking at the regular series instead of the christmas special
When did this special originally air?

Anyone else have a crush on Brickmaster Amy?
Love to see nish, we love the wokemeister
Is alex and sophie a couple in irl, cause they so cute together.
no, Alex is married to someone else

Well, that was irritating.
Nish is a fairly insufferable host
You should watch Legomasters Australia. The best!
@linettewallbank totally agree
in a good way imo
he's a delight. you certainly seem fun!
Nish kumar is not funny
