Thank Edward, for all the diabetic humour, I had a diabetic friend as a child and we had tremendous fun bullying her, she was type 1 all the way and she started the bullying, by being diabetic

My mom got diabetes when she was five. I was very inquisitive as a kid and she was always very honest so I grew up knowing a ton about diabetes, and for a long time I assumed everyone knew what to do if a diabetic had low/high blood sugar. What I hate the most though is people assuming that because she’s big and has diabetes, she could get better by just eating healthier and exercising.
