For everyone waiting for the airport video: I'll need another week or so, but I promise it will be the best LEGO City Update of the year :) I've already used over 1000€ in lego bricks for the runway alone :)
My 8 year old daughter is really into Lego so I started watching videos at night so I can build with her the next day. I’m blow away at all the amazing pieces I’ve never seen before, the gorgeous plants and stones and of course, the stunning buildings and attractions. I’m so excited to share this video with her and see what kind of inspiration she’ll have. From the cinematography to the music, this is a masterpiece. Thank you!
He says that MOST buildings have decorated interiors, isn't that amazing? You get to see it in a vid, and he plans to have full interior of all buildings at one point.
I planned to watch 15-20 minutes of skipping through the various parts of the video...I ended up watching from start to the end without any skipping at all. This is truly inspiring and awesome work!
It’s insane to think that all this progress took 3 years, but with how the end result looks incredible so far, I’d say it was well worth the time and effort. I hope that you’re just as proud as I hope, cause this is just amazing to see.
I've been building Lego for over 40 years, but what you have done here is insane. I thought it took you 3 years in your spare time but this looks like fulltime work. I especially like the timberframe village and the vegetation. Amazing!
The timber-framed houses are my favorite too. Wish you added vine 🍇 on those terraced hills (if that's possible in lego) 🤔🤗. I also liked the older houses in the city. The waterfront with the 🚨 lighthouse is very nice too. Meshing different architecture styles is not so easy - while the city layout also got to make sense. But everything is more pretty than modern houses 😅😉 The details are incredible - the bikes, bus and train stations are great - better then in real life 😇 Highlights for me are the working traffic light🚦 and the driving tram 🚃
I can honestly say I have never listened to 1hr34 minutes of classical music before, but was totally worth it watching your creation come together. Truly one of the best (if not the best) LEGO city I’ve ever seen. Can not wait to continue on this journey with you.
Seeing all of the timelapses together shows just how many different techniques are used in the city, you are one of the best builders on this entire website and every video you drop is a delight - keep up the great work!!!
I was only going to watch for 5 minutes and now I am 30 minutes in. I thought about fast forwarding but could not. So much detail, heart and soul into this masterpiece.❤
Man you're so talented, most people that try to create a massive world end up lacking in details, your work is just amazing. Can't wait to see the next developments.
Dear lord the attention to detail is absolutely incredible. Just when you think literally everything has been tried, tested and accomplished -he puts alternating flashing traffic lights at 1hr 13mins! I am blown away by your artistry sir, kudos
This is the best lego city I've ever seen. The landscaping blows my mind, and all of the very tricky transitions are handled in such a realistic way....simply amazing! What a piece of art!
I can watch this video in loop mode for hours. Also you have a great taste for the soundtrack! Already looking forward to a second part video with 3+ hours of mesmerizing building and music!
You are a mad man! Just fantastic! Totally blown away! And not just lego, the film production of this piece is high level stuff! The zoom/pan time lapse stuff isn't easy to pull off, as you know. Specialized gear and then the mental clarity to 'act' for that camera shot by shot as you are at the same time taking lego to a whole new level rivaling the digital lego landscape of The Lego Movie. Hats off!!!!
This is amazing! The only thing I could ever suggest is just some more wildlife. Maybe some birds, deer (I think I saw one in the rustic village), maybe some raccoons or bears? Other than that, this is simply stunning, and I know I wouldn't be able to do this.
I can imagine how at first you didn't have this city, nothing! But if you were able to build it, then you believed, you didn't give up, the scale is really amazing!
You, sir, are the Michelangelo of Lego! Many of the techniques you do when building Lego are truly groundbreaking. The bridge alone is a masterpiece, not mention the rocky outcroppings.🎉
The sheer amount of time, paitence, forethought, and money it must have taken to get this far with such a tremendous project only lends great excellence to the outcome and the person behind it. Hats off to you my friend, you've made something truly glorious here, and I'm honored to have witnessed it firsthand.

It's really wonderful to hear classical music. It doesn't always get the recognition it should
As a bonus, the first song was used in the Lego Batman video game, so it feels like an extra easter egg if you know about it!
The problem with it is that it really often gets copyright struck, so people don't like to use it.
