I had to call MSD last week to ask a timing light question for my 6AL. Come to find out you have to call Holley now and go through 45 phone options till you get to who you need to talk too. So irritating
I had to do the same thing. When the car stalled I pulled the cap, and the rotor was broke. So I ordered a new cap and rotor. The car still would not start, so I put a blaster coil on it and it started. I then bought a used coil, and still had no start. I only called MSD to make sure the box wasn't bad ,and to verify my coils were bad. When he said my distributor was bad I was baffled. I run a crank trigger there is literally nothing in it to go bad except a rotor, Which I already replaced. I called back a half hour later, and got a different tech. He said I had bad coils.
