Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 4 is also worth mentioning here. It's an abandonware sim games with many f1 season mods and other racing discipline, great physics, great AI, and still active community.
I never heard of some games shown here (e.g. Classic Racers), so it was not just entertaining to watch but also quite educating as well! Great list, thanks for the video!
I'm happy to see this video, and in particular to see Copa Petrobras de Marcas listed. I used to be a middling-to-goodish-on-my-day sim racer *many* years ago (GPL/GTL era) when "mid-range setup" meant a Microsoft FF wheel costing about £60 -- no rigs, no multi-monitors, no VR, for 99% of people just the paddle shifts on the wheel, etc. Reading around now I see way too many people in sim racing equipment video comments saying things like "£1,000 is really not a lot of money to spend" with very little self-awareness of how much it *is* for an awful lot of people. Stuff like your video is a nice antidote to that, a reminder that sim racing is supposed to be *fun*. Copa Petrobras de Marcas is a pretty nice toe-in-the-water for zero expenditure. :)

Good man, excellent and very comprehensive video! I was compiling a list of free simracing games before I came across yours here. I wholeheartedly recommend Live For Speed and Copa Petrobras de Marcas. I remember playing the LFS demo way back in 2009. I still believe it is the easiest and most accessible solution to dip your toes into simracing. The Formula BMW is an absolute blast to drive around Blackwood even to this day. Much more recently, as an rFactor afficianado, I was very excited to hear about Copa Petrobras de Marcas, essentially a free version of Stock Car Extreme! Digging through the game files, I was positively impressed to find the Realfeel plugin already installed. The cars and tracks have a great feel to them and look just as good. I would also recommend BMW M3 Challenge. It is a free download from the developers of GTR2, with just the BMW M3 E92 and the Nurburgring GP track.
Live For Speed! Now the 'old lady' of Sim Racing, but an essential 'right of passage' for anybody interested in Sim Racing. Great physics and still as great to drive today as anything else out there! ❤️👍

You don’t have to disable secure boot for NR2003, there are several ways around that. I can’t get into detail because I don’t have a computer right now, but the exe is being modded in many ways right now, and disabling DEP isn’t necessary anymore

Umm so the Rally stoped working for me it crashed and then when the loading screen is loading when i get in i cant click anything like load create profile and stuff um so what to do?
i installed the rbr game but i saw that there was an existing user profile made in 2016. i also noticed that the starter car was not having front wheels. then i skipped the tutorials as u can't change cars in it and i selected another car for quick rally now this other car wasn't steering
i can suggest these games TORCS -I won't say too much but its ok i guess Mini Racing Online -Top down racing sim, similar to SNES F1 Grand Prix series, but there olso others cars/motocycles but they drive same Although it puts emphasis on online racing, you can also play with bots Engine Evolution series Sadly online only, but nice idea with historic tree, you start with older cars/motocycles until reach to modern era.

F1C VB is amazing but there are some inconsistencies between season which is normal as not all are done by the same person, take 1995, the cars are among the most beautiful but they are way too quick, up to 3 seconds quicker than 1996 ones! 2003 is also just copy and paste of 2002 except for liveries. Basically has potential to be the best thing about F1 but needs a lot of work still...
i highly reccomend Live For Speed, the best is multiplayer mode there is a lot of servers, there is 3licenses of LFS: Demo(Free) S1; S2; S3(is not very expensive and there is one of the bests events!) LFS Is The Best. The Best is the game is in developping since 2003! i hope never gonna die this game
ASRX (I know they have online races but I've never done them, the game is weird), F1 Challenge VB (go to the Facebook page and races are organized there), GPL traditional demo (will often have open lobbies and there are many leagues that race), Live For Speed (I've never done it with this one either), NR2003 (has a very active online community), RBR2016 (has some online events, I've never participated however), Racecraft (you race against shadows of other real players), and Raceroom (which has the most full fleshed online experience of all these games). I'd say Raceroom has the best online experience followed by F1 Challenge VB and GPL. Hope that helps!

And to try and get a race with everyone in the cockpit, you'd think I pissed in their kool-aid. And those drivers that race on the roof or swingman will get a subscriiption to IRACING that has forced cockpit, drive though cars on pitroad, wreck car or get disconneted get a reset with a new car. Now that's weird.
and one more question: is mediafire safe? beacuse its not secured and also it says "Something appears to be missing… The key you provided for file access was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on MediaFire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or MediaFire." is that supposed to be there but u can use the download button

You could probably say the same for SimBin Studios 2003-2013, Codemasters, EA Sports NASCAR Thunder, SimRaceWay, and any other game Studios that used ISI's gMotor Engine up until rFactor2.
Do you consider any racing game a sim game. Because of all the games you posted. I'd say maybe 3 were sim games. The rest were arcade games. And NR2003 is the best racing sim i have ever played. And it isnt even close. I do not do the F1 and indy racing games. I flat our refuse to play any racing game that does not have car damage. That is just a arcade game. If it is not life like I do not like it. So will not play them.

Because for years IRacing didn't have visual damage, and neither does Grand Prix Legends. Other games like ACC, AC, Rfactor, Rfactor 2, & Automobilista 1 have pretty much zero visual damage. And if you were to say those aren't full simulation games then 99.9% of people would disagree with you.

I was playing the game again, about a month ago, and it's a solid game. LFS just doesn't have a lot of content and it definitely lacks user count.

Every game in this video (at the time of this video's posting) supported my T300 wheel. That includes ASRX.
