Yeah. I'm glad to see this facsimile, but I do wonder if some things are a bit off. One indicator I'd be curious about is, once you've had some more practice, how fast a lap you can turn. It seemed like your quickest here was maybe a 1:57, and I'd think that that's a good 20 seconds off of what they ought to be able to do around here. Having some banking there at Turn 6 is certainly a thought; however, I'd imagine the 12 degrees seen in Turn 13 at Jeddah probably isn't on the cards. Honestly, I think the coolest stadium-adjacent section on a course has been the one bit on the back side of the old Vancouver street circuit (1990-97).

It's a shame there isn't a larger community around classic F1 in AC. Would be awesome to see some serious online races around this track and others like it.

From what i recall reading, the 2 main straights are each something like 3.4 miles. So the circuit split is more like 55/45 in favor of the more technical stuff. Yeah, Italotracks and I talked back and forth a bit on OT/RD and their YT channel about various aspects of this circuit. So I got some good insights there. And yes, certain areas maybe seeming a bit sparse did come up in our discussions, but I can understand the difficulties in filling some things in, whether it be a lack of photography, or just the realistic challenges of how many assets there would be/already are. Also, glad to know this mid-1950s period of F1 will be getting a few more cars. It seems like maybe the Sportscar side of things from this era could use some love in AC, too.

Hi Daniel, thanks a lot for the showcase, and glad you enjoyed the track! I was shouting ¨Brake Daniel, brake!" when you were coming up to the chicane at the end there, the barrels on the left subtly mark the distances at the bigger braking zones. I'm not sure what happened with the AI at the start, there are quite a lot of CSP options that govern AI behaviours and I think it might be one of those settings being active that led to the strange getaway, in testing they seemed okay, and pretty quick over the rest of the lap. I made those bollards non collidable in the interests of keeping the AI in the race, they would otherwise render pretty much any off track excursion as race ending for them. There are still lots of trees and walls a bit further away to crash into though! :) Your upcoming Vanwall naturally will be fitting opposition for the BRMs and Maseratis - keep up the good work and thanks again for the video. 👍

That slow AI start is probably caused by AI enhancements of CSP?

Another nice vista intro with the sound! Really nice track with some cools details like animals, a decent AI and some really nice distant scenery, especially when coming down from the mountain after the bridge. Nice car too. Very relatable incident in the final chicane.... The start line bug that you see, I think there's a CSP setting in the AI improvements which causes that - I've been using the track a bit and haven't seen that issue with cars getting blocked on the line. Also, do you know if this is v1.0 or the 1.0.1 update? Some of the tree and spectator shading looks like it might be the older version (those were fixed) but it's entirely possible that it's a combination of time, Pure, CSP and PP Filter settings!

Great job, the track is perfect, the surroundings are identical, congratulations! It's a shame that they deforested protected areas, they built the track next to the federal university, several studies had to be stopped, the track is close to the veterinary sector, several animals died or suffered after-effects due to the noise, there was a large study with a species of fish, the college was developing a new method of treating burns, all the fish in the study died, college employees were attacked by organizers when they went to protest, it's a shame.

Sergio always does excellent work, and clearly, this is no exception. Italotracks has also released Pescara 1957, which would be another good one for the 1934 cars, I should think. Definitely been some good additions in the last few weeks.

As an Iowan who loves cars, if i ever win the lottery i will buy and restore this track. Repave it and put tire barriers and sand traps. The main reason it failed is they half baked it. Track was too thin, and like you said, there wasn't much for spectator facilities and not much nearby either.

Looks and sounds good. Cerebrally, Roosevelt is kind of an interesting one, though, on the ground, yeah, there are definitely other period circuits that get my juices going more. But in any case, it looks like jobs well done both on the cars and the track. Btw, videos of a certain item (new GPL track mod) have popped up in my sidebar recently: ruclips.net/video/UF8RPwD7Z1I/видео.html The 1934 cars might not be as fast, but I can imagine they could be just as scary on the pre-War Brno.

Personal opinion, COTA is a fantastic flowing circuit. I second what you said regarding LMU having great FFB. Makes it a great experience

I picked up the season pass when o bought the game. I absolutely LOVE COTA. I was there this year to watch the 6 hrs lonestar lemans so I was very hype to be able to hop in a car and race that track. My only complaint is they still have not even attempted to fix the black square artifacting that’s happening on AMD GPUs.

Interlagos would have been a decidedly better track to go with, particularly given the cars on offer. Nothing against them, and actually, the Alpine isn't bad, and is starting to perform. We could, in fact, use more of the GTs and LMP2s as far as the cars go. (Yeah, I know, LMP2 has essentially become a de facto spec class in practice, but still, why not add more...) I'd have to look at a fuller listing of the GTE/GT2 cars that have been out there, but they've got pretty much a blank slate right now in terms of adding the GT3s, though those are pretty ubiquitous in other titles as things stand. I know it's called Le Mans Ultimate, but I see nothing wrong with starting to add in content from the ELMS, AsLMS, and/or IMSA. There's the Acura GTP, Ligier LMP2, as well as a whole slew of additional tracks they could offer.

For an easier traffic setting you could use 2real, and then just share the config
